Work was the same as usual, clock in, spend the entire day taking care of patients, missing lunch, Kathryn visiting Caden and bringing you lunch, sometimes it was little homemade meals she made in the morning, other times it was takeout from your favorite little restaurant down the block. Either way she always made sure she got what you loved.

Today she left earlier than usual, only sticking around for a few minutes because she said she had 'plans' made for the day and was in a rush out of the hospital. It put a frown on your face as today has been a long day and you needed your little dose of Kathryn at work as time always flew by with her and all you wanted to do was just be in her arms and never leave.

A few hours have passed and it was the end of your shift, your heart sank when you looked at your phone and still hadn't heard from Kathryn. Usually she would leave you little messages throughout the day saying how proud of you she was, and she can't wait to see you when you get home, and how much of a pretty little nurse you looked today.

Nonetheless, you finished your shift with a slight frown on your face, just wanting to finally leave the hospital and go to the comfort of your home. The drive home was quicker than usual, there was barely any traffic due to everyone being at home and spending their precious time with their loved ones. Something you've been looking forward to doing all day.

After parking the car and making your way to the front door you notice most of the lights in the house turned off, something that was unusual as Kathryn always tended to wait up for you no matter what time you were to get home. She tended to want to be the last thing on your mind every night.

Walking into the house, you're met with most of the lights dimmed down with an array of white candles spread out around you. Vanilla fills your senses as you take your shoes and coat off. There's a small path of little red rose petals that starts at your feet and continues up the stairs. Soft jazz is playing from the turntable in your bedroom and makes your heart skip a beat as you walk slowly up the stairs, careful not to knock anything over.

The petals lead straight into your shared bedroom, delicately placed into a fine line at your feet. After opening the door, your jaw nearly drops to the floor at the sight of Kathryn sprawled out along the silk sheets pleasuring herself.

She looks at you lovingly and smiles that oh so sweet smile of hers. Fingers trail up your side, and before you know it Kathryn gently fists the collar of your shirt and pulls you to her.

Her lips meet yours in a quick yet fiery kiss before she slightly back, lips hovering over your own. "How about I repay the favor, hmm?"

"As sweet as that is, today is all about you, love."
