La Trans Cena
A work entirely of Chicano trans mascs I participated in, inspired by The Last Supper. I’m holding the threads connecting everyone together, offering to our trans Jesús who is crowned with needles and t-bottles

FUNDRAISER TO CONTINUE THIS PROJECT
From Ocelotl Mora on his Instagram:
I got into debt for this project because it was what I needed to heal from all the trauma I endured from the medical assaults.
I would love to print the stories bigger and nicer, reprint 5 images, do the audio recording of each person sharing their stories, and invest in making prints to sell.
I am completely new to the arts world and don’t know how it all works.
My beautiful mistakes throughout this show is part of my continuous healing of knowing that even someone like me can create, have their voice heard and take up space.

[image description: a retro upa-styled digital drawing of two people roller skating, done in the colors of the trans flag. the first person is thin with short, shaggy, side-shaved hair, many piercings, and some stubble. they are wearing a jacket and some jeans, and their top surgery scars are visible. they look happy and are waving at the viewer. the second person has a short dark-colored bob and is wearing glasses. they have visible arm hair and are wearing a crop top with matching shorts. they are leaning over in an elaborate skating move. behind the two is a wavy trans flag, and above them is text that says "transsexuals have more fun!". end id]

[Image Description: A Tumblr post edited blackout poetry style. The first, unedited, part reads: “‘radical feminists’ mad that a trans woman shows the feminine experience in art better than they ever could”
An edited reblog reads: “this is so spirited and needed in addition to being truthful. I enjoy music and I don’t have any problem with hats (except that I think it’s fortunate to have aesthetic coarse, hairy pussies)
Objectively, older men. Many of my friends had the same experience. And we do write about it; it’s actually a pretty big part of women’s literature, historically, and feminist literature in particular.
Also, like … trans women hot
them beasts, slugs, and toads attack the radical feminists who are misogynistic and aimed at insulting women. Attack radfems. Attack.”
