Although they named her a star, there are times when all she is, is a dying star-- cold beautiful twinkle from million light years apart, seen on a lonesome night sky. They wished a star upon her soul, and once upon a time there might be it-- a colossal sphere of condensed vapor and metal, ready to illuminate and warm the closest system into livelihoods.

There might have been a gentle star long before these days, but all is different after Time sunk its claws on every being. She is supernova-- they watch her as she implodes. There is nothing beautiful or kind or gentle about the supernova on the brink of collapsing inside. Her soul-- her person is a collapsar-- an esoteric glamor of silence and void. It gravitates around while she stretches her cellular masses out-- wind them around the dimension of psychedelics, of everything and nothing. She watches them reshaped-- rebuilt, she watches them grow around her to ride beyond the threshold of a lifetime. And for some, she watches them fall-- deterred, repulsed by the destitute of a fallen star-- an overkill for passion and feel and pain. So she let some of them go, she wish them good luck and it is all right.

We were born, we were struggling. We survived, we are alive. We all have places we have to be.

I'd rather have a heart that was too often broken than a heart that could never be reached at all. . I am consuming every piece of your planet that I can. it is different than mine. the passage of time is slower. The oceans are far shallower. More salt, but man-made and undissolved. exicted to have my first out of town poetry feature. im actually looking forward to staying in #brooklyn for that whole week. feel free to invite me to any other open mics, art events, bars, parties, kickbacks, brunch, tea, coffee etc. pretty please. | my out of town opportunities are rolling in and i'm grateful. last week, an awesome woman out of Oakland, Calif invited me to lead a writing session with young ladies once I make it back to the west coast. I was excited to share with her that apart of my #travelingpoet dreams include facilitating writing sessions with the youth in whatever city I'm performing in (hint hint: brooklyn).
