anybody else having issues logging into tumblr while using firefox? currently using google chrome (begrudgingly) but was just wondering if anybody else is having this issue when you get the error page: Cannot POST/login after trying to login when every other website on firefox works perfectly fine. ill be using chrome for the foreseeable future but it will always bug me never knowing why tumblr isnt working on firefox (beloved)

Free Entrance Days At The National Parks In 2023

It's never a bad idea to visit one of America's stunning national parks, and it's even better if you can do it for free. Fortunately, the National Park Service will be waiving entrance fees for a number of days in 2023 at all parks across the nation. These free days, which are available from January through November, fall on public holidays and significant anniversaries.

The NPS stated on its website that "national parks are America's best concept" and that there are more than 400 parks that are open to the public every day. The fee-free days offer a fantastic chance to explore a new location or an old favorite, particularly one of the national parks that often has an entrance price. Parks waive entrance costs on fee-free days, however amenity or user fees for things like camping, transportation, or special tours are not covered.

The majority of national parks are always free to visit, however some of the most well-known ones do have entrance fees. Denali National Park & Preserve in Alaska, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, Yosemite in California, the Everglades in Florida, the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, Acadia in Maine, the Badlands in South Dakota, and other parks charge admission.

Hey! I was wondering if you had any speculation on how Hermes and Apollo caught feelings for each other AND what exactly happened for the big kiss to happen

You know this is a great question, inspite of me struggling a bit to answer.

For a while now, I've seen Hermes as someone who is pretty casual when it comes to romance. He's all about being charming and lovely but he rarely ever truly falls in love or gets attached (and it's even more rare when it comes to mortals) He is causal with sexual affection, and definitely not a fan of monogamy or any long term commitments. So he isn't exactly the kiss kiss fall in love type of guy. But on the rare occasions that he does get attached to someone, it is for life and Apollo is undoubtedly one of those people. When did he catch feelings? I like to believe pretty early on. I mean, he specifically stole Apollo's cows and decided to make friends with him, after all. He loves Apollo deeply and he will for the rest of his life ("And Hermes loved the son of Leto continuously, even as he does now" !!!!). Sometimes it might be romantic, or just sexual, or both or neither - he wouldn't care to differentiate or label. It depends on his mood. But as long as he has Apollo's attention, gets to spend time with him in whatever way that he wants to, and remain Apollo's closest friend, he's more than happy. I bet their first kiss was also causal, with Hermes just kissing Apollo out of nowhere and saying he just wanted to try it when questioned.

All of this would, however make it difficult for Apollo. Initially at least. Because he might not be monogamous either but he can be very romantic and get attached easily (He's the type of person to care about even his ex-lovers and one night stands lmao) So I think he would be confused with Hermes' first kiss, and his causal intimate gestures and affections. Mostly because he doesn't know what Hermes wants of him. It would probably drive him nuts in the beginning but he would get it, eventually, as they spend time together. I think the tipping point for Apollo to realise Hermes' feelings would be when Hermes promised Apollo not to steal anything from him - that is the absolute peak of loyalty that Hermes can give to anyone XD and that probably sealed the deal for Apollo. Even in the hymn, Apollo promises to not love any god more than Hermes after Hermes promised to not steal from him. And maybe soon after that they had their first meaningful kiss? :3

Anyway, thank you for the ask. I feel like I did more of Hermes character study of than answer the question XD but i really enjoyed it <3

one thing about me is that if a website demands me to login in order to view it i will simply. not view it. i know i’m unnecessarily inconveniencing myself in the long run but it’s a matter of principle. who are u to tell me to log in website you are literally not real . no thank you i didn’t need to see that anyways

I come back from the dead to bring tidings of a Bocchi print i've been working on for the past three-ish weeks or so. Really proud of how this one came out!

I got more thoughts past the keep reading line as well as additional sketch screenshots for those of you who are interested in my process and line of thinking. Let me know what y'all think!

I have to admit, this is just as much false advertising for the show as the amazing fanarts from Japanese artist rsef as they make Hitori seem more badass than she actually is for most of the show (considering she's usually a bumbling mess LOL). I wanted to capture a sort of ephemeral moment during a live performance, showcase one of the rare moments on stage where Hitori rises up to the occasion despite her extreme struggles with confidence and social anxiety.

Pretty happy with how it came out, methinks!

Below are the composition sketch and value/lighting planning for those of you who are interested in my process!

This one also took some iteration before I got to the final version as well. I had a bit of a different camera angle in mind first based off a pretty intense fisheye lens photo I found on Pinterest of the guitarist from Metallica. Realized I was a bit in over my head with that shot, so I dialed the angle back to something I was a bit more comfortable with, but still with the goal of pushing extreme perspective on the guitar neck.
