What we know of Jaime Rosales so far

He’s seventeen as of 2012 in TDA

He has an older brother Diego who most likely will become the next inquisitor

his favorite weapon is poison

According to Cristina in Lady midnight he hates studying and homework

he’s the more warrior like and fierce brother

he has a noticeable accent compared to Diego and Cristina

His most striking feature is his large brown eyes that are said to be sparkly with wicked long lashes.

There’s a strong possibility he has attended the Shadowhunter academy given in lady midnight that he was set to go to Idris or in QOAAD he asks Dru if she will attend the academy.

He’s noted to be fidgety sometimes

He’s known to disappear for a long period of times. (What’s this guy upto?)

He and Cristina would often set up targets in the institute garden to practice knife throwing skills which often scared visitors.

Interestingly he was set up to be the older brother but Cassie somehow scraped that idea and made him the younger sibling

he has a tattoo that reads la sangre sin fuego hierve. ‘’blood boils without fire" which signifies his passion and loyalty to his family

He’s set to be a main character in the wicked powers.

He’s mischievous, often likes to play devil’s advocate in games, is troublesome and often has Diego pick up his mess.

From the latest update in SOBH he’s currently lost in Faerie. Most details about his disappearance is unknown.

Cristina says he has the devil’s luck (possible foreshadowing of his Anti Hero arc 👀) imagine the angst, the betrayal, the build up, the plot and all the possibilities!!!!!!!! @cassandraclare you better do Justice to his character and storyline. He has the POTENTIAL‼️

CC has made it blatantly clear that Dru and Ash's love story will be one of the major parts of the book AS WELL as Kit and Ty's love story lol. I think people are so against the Ash/Dru romance because CC hasn't spent as much time developing it obvi and Kit and ty's story has so much momentum behind it already. CC announced kit ty and dru as the main protagonist so why wouldn't she give Dru a love story aswell? I get people are getting scared of CC minimizing Ty and Kit romance but she's well aware of the love people have for Kit and Ty and wouldn't be stupid enough just to focus on Dru and Ash. Either way I trust CC will do us justice as twp will "supposedly" be the end of tsc.

I think someone else had this theory before me as well, idk but if they did I’m bringing it back because I suddenly thought about SOBH and have thoughts, and if this is something that many people have already talked about well ok then I’m just saying this anyways cos I wanna talk.

so basically, I have a huge feeling that Mother Hawthorn was the one who gave Ty the corrupted catalyst which he used in order to raise Livvy. Now it would make sense, since if she was someone just there in the Shadow Market, no doubt would news have spread to her that Kit Herondale was indeed a Herondale and staying with the Blackthorns, giving her motive as to why she would give one that was corrupted. Which also means, she knows about the necromancy. If she knows about the necromancy, she has something to hold against not just Ty, but Kit too. That would explain what she told Kit that day, she might have threatened him with the information. And this could be a big thing in TWP, because maybe that’s how the whole main plot is triggered, with Kit not wanting to put Ty at risk, he’ll go with Mother Hawthorn and accept his fate as the First Heir, therefore meaning, he’ll prepare to go up against any of his enemies, one probably being the Seelie Queen.

My TWP Predictions

I've seen that people started with predictions to what they think or want to happen in The Wicked Powers. So, here are my predictions:

The main character is either Dru or Kit. Dru because she is the most important living female character of the main squad and Kit, because most parts of the series are probably his story. Also he was second after Emma in TDA.

Kit, Dru and Ty have most of the book in their POV, additionally there will be some chapters from Ash and a few in Livvy's POV. The rest of the characters don't get their own POVs .

Kit and Ty will obviously make up (and out) and end up dating and staying together forever.

Mina or one of the Lightwood-Bane kids will be kidnapped and threatened to be killed, but won't die

Thule-Livvy comes to Our World and meets Cameron here. They get a second chance for their relationship, even though their respective versions of the other world are dead. I also think that Cameron would follow Thule-Livvy back to Thule to save it from demons.

Janus will either die, end up with the Seelie Queen, or go back to Thule to undo his and Sebastians mistakes and save the world on Clary's wish.

Thule Kit will either die, go evil and/or become King of Faerie. But somehow I think he dies because he gets attacked by faeries.

Thule Rosemary never gets attacked deadly, finds her son again, tries and fails to protect him at a dangerous attack by faeries and accidently goes to Our World and protects/saves Kit here.

The TWP-squad mainly consists of Dru, Jaime, Ghost-Livvy and/or Thule-Livvy, Kit and Ty. Ash joins them later and Anush also gets to be pretty important, but has no part written in his point of view.

Dru, Jaime and Ash will go to Thule for some reason. Kit, Ty, Livvy and Anush stay in Our World and go to Faerie.

We get to see Auraline. Either in a flashback or because she's actually alive, but nobody knew. In that case she will also protect Kit and maybe end up as Queen of Faerie.

Kieran might give up his throne to the brother who's dating (?) the Seelie Queen in tge end of TDA.

Kit has wings and can make other people fly with his powers. I want to see him and Ty dance across the night sky.

Love triangle between Dru, Jaime and Ash, but they actually communicate and Dru ends up with Ash.

In the end Ash lives with either Dru at Blackthorn Hall or either the Herondale-Carstairs family.

Dru and Ty move to Blackthorn Hall, like Jules planned them to, also to be closer to Kit (and Ash).

Kit and Ash become parabatai. Maybe to secure eachother's survival. They are scared the other will kill them, but parabatai's can't kill eachother. So problem solved.

If a Lightwood dies, it's hopefully Maryse.

Kit fake-dies. Ty also fake-dies at the showdown battle and Kit heals him with his power.

All characters comeback at the showdown. Also Herongraystairs reunion and sibling-bonding of their children.

These are the things I definitely do not want to happen, but might be a bit likely to go down this way:

Jace dying. Because he's a Lightwood, too and has someone who wants to and can step up in his place if he dies: Janus. He's also in more or less immediate danger, because Janus wants to kill him. Also Clary thought that she would die in TDA, so maybe Jace steps up to die instead of her (like Jason did for Piper in TOA, Rick is a friend of Cassie's, too, btw). But I hope it's not him who dies.

Ideas I had, that are probably way too wild for it to actually happen:

KitTy wedding in faerie as a way of staying together forever, because others want to separate them.

Rosechild / Rosestar moments: I mean Ash flirting with Jaime and Jaime totally questioning his sexuality. Maybe even some more romantic moments

Ash taking the Fairchild name instead in honour of his aunt and grandma.

Kit taking the Blackthorn name because he feels more connected to them than to the Herondales. Jace almost disowning him afterwards.

Kit bonding and cuddling with a duck. Jace definitely disowning him now.

Ash being the one who warns Clary and Jace about Janus

I probably have even more ideas, which I will add when I remember them.

i was reading this passage of CoT and I just had a interesting thought. How/why is TWP about Dru, Kit & Ty when the main enemy that *every living member* of the Shadowhunters Universe is fighting in TWP is Lucifer. Technically since Clary and Sebastian and Valentine are all Morgensterns (which means Morning Star in German, meaning Lucifer), shouldn’t it be centered around Clary? Since she’s the only one with a possible connection to Lucifer? and is Belial hinting at something in TWP by talking about Lucifer in TLH? Lowkey just a random tidbit/thought I had, idk where i was going with it

Okay. But. Like. Arthur is mean to die and come back. What if Kit dies like in book two, stays dead all throughout book three, and comes back until the end of book three/ maybe even book four. What then. I just keep thinking how ironic it'd be. Like. Ty losing and having back from the dead his two best friends, in probably horrible circumstances. Has anyone thought about this.

Assuming that Kit will push Ty away in TWP (because everyone around him get hurt) imagine Ty's earphones breaking and Kit buying new ones for him and Ty being so confused because he thinks Kit hates him but Kit is so anxious that Ty will feel uncomfortable without them that he just NEEDS to give them to him 😭😭😭

My predictions for the TWP covers:-

The last king of Faerie:- Kit

the last prince of hell:- Ash

the last Shadowhunter :- Dru

I think there is quite a possibility that two ppl will be featured in each cover like how in cofA we had clary and Simon and lost souls we had clary and Jace and cOfhF we had clary and Sebastian. So it could go like

Last king of faerie:- Kit and Ash

last prince of hell :- Lucifer??? And Ash????

last Shadowhunter:- Could be a final showdown with the blackthorns leading the final battle so it could be Dru and Ty 👀

Where do u think twp is gonna start off at? Personally I think it will be at the new Shadowhunter academy and we will see Dru's new life and group of friends first. But if it started off with kit fighting a demon or something and we see how much his skills have improved I wouldn't mind. 🤭

yk I suddenly remembered that it’s canon that Dru says ‘you need to work on your communication skills I think’ to Kit and that she literally voiced the thought that every person who read TDA thinks about Kit because ffs

And now I feel like Dru was also trying to make a Ty reference there so yh

I really now want a scene that has Dru saying the same thing and then Kit going ‘I swear you’ve said that before’ and then she goes ‘yet you still haven’t listened, maybe then this whole situation with Ty wasn’t what I was referring to but now I am, so PLEASE for the love of god, just talk to him.’
