Why do they call it a CRUSH?
Because that's how you feel when they don't feel the same way in return.

Transcript below the cut:
Phoenix: Hi.
Dawn: Hi. What are you doing up?
Phoenix: Couldn’t sleep.
Dawn: [kisses his back] Mm. You okay?
Phoenix: Oh yeah, I’m good. Just enjoying a quiet moment while it lasts.
Dawn: Do you want to be alone?
Phoenix: No, no. Stay.
Phoenix: I was thinking… I’d like to take Aspen to Copperdale, to meet Julian. And there’s something I kind of want to do while I’m there. Will you come with me?
Dawn: Yeah, of course.
Phoenix: Thanks. [squeezes her] I love you.
Dawn: I love you too.
Dawn: We should go back to bed.
Phoenix: I’m not really tired.
Dawn: Me either.
Phoenix: Mm, we’re going to be exhausted tomorrow.
Dawn: Worth it.

I love you so much and i promised you a garden of sunflowers because i named you Mirasol and it's my favorite flower..
I love you so much, and if you ask me to wait for you till the next blue supermoon, I would.. But that's not love, it's stupidity...
I love you so much, but the 14 letters isn't enough for you to feel the same, even if i say it repeatedly, even my energy drains just to show you how much i cared.
You were my yellow, my Sunflower..
Tell me, how could I teach my heart to forget you?

I'm a little obsessed with how little Sanji tells Luffy about his situation on Whole Cake Island, and how Luffy loves and accepts him anyways and doesn't force him to relive his trauma by explaining what happened to him when he was a kid. Same goes for Arlong Park and Nami, and how Luffy didn't listen to Nojiko tell her story, he just has so much faith in his friends being good people, and he's right

im putting my entire soul and bussy behind the following writing advice:
learn about a bunch of different ways that stories are traditionally structured (optional but i'll always encourage it)
eventually have it strike you like lightning from the heavens that traditional plot structures all follow the character development of the protagonist, which means that
it is absolutely possible to pace your plot in a way that strays from traditional storytelling but still feels like a natural and satisfying progression for your readers, as long as you structure it roughly along the path of whatever the fuck is happening with your protagonist
sounds like a small obvious thing but this can save you from a lot of headaches if you've been struggling to cram your plot into a traditional model where it might not even belong in the first place. try to isolate the character development of your protagonist, and make that your primary guide instead

'lright, you get one of my like 3 apocalyptic AUs!
So this one. uh, I submit the idea of sculk taking over the world! (it's a modern au for fun)
It's Dogwarts centric bc of course it is, but there's a whole Team B.E.S.T. side plot/reason Dogwarts ends up meeting.
Basically TLDR on that plot: Skizz is presumed dead, Bdubs is hurt, Tango is Not Doing Well, and Etho's, well, trying his best to hold the three together.
Anyways Tango sets a trap, and runs off to save his own skin. Bdubs is taken by a hoard, & Etho is separated and almost dies in a cave. Oh did I mention Etho's been slowly getting infected by the Sculk this entire time?
Skizz isn't dead however, and thank god because he saves Etho from certain death and brings him to Dogwarts, because safety in numbers. Skizz does not take the news that Tango tried to kill Etho and Bdubs well. *jazz hands* Team B.E.S.T. is NOT functional!
This happens over the course of about 3 weeks btw.
There's also the reason that Etho hasn't been overtaken yet, and that's because an antidote was created, but didn't work. However, it does prevent the Sculk from taking over the consciousness of people!
Yeah. Bdubs may be a Sculk-zombie thing but he's still Bdubs! So now Bdubs joins the makeshift group that is Dogwarts :]
