My Aro playlist (the perfect soundtrack for ASAW!)

A while ago I made an aro playlist that I keep adding songs on. It's on an account that I don't feel comfortable sharing but I thought I could tell y'all what songs are on it because aro songs are not easy to find. So here you go.

Note: this playlist is tailored to my personal music taste. It's mostly pop. I know there are more out there (Cavetown) but these are the songs I like to listen to. Besides, you might interpret these songs differently. They were clearly not written to be aromantic songs but they sound pretty aro to me ( but obviously you don't have to agree).

I tried to sort them into categories (at least roughly) so can find songs you relate to better.

I used an alien emoji to mark the songs containing internalized arophobia (in my opinion) if you want to avoid those.

in fact, isolda has banned him from sitting next to cillian whenever the resistance meets because they simply egg each other on

he's been friends with ronan since they were boys and he's one of the few people who is unaffected when ronan brings the mood down with one of his angry rants -- kale's always here to lighten things up again!

arrogant, conceited, proud, selfless, energetic, kind, considerate, reckless, loyal, idealistic, romantic

kale has always been a flirt, but he views himself as a helpless romantic who is eventually destined to find the love of his life (and when he does, he will not need to look at another woman again!)

in the meantime, he's enjoying some friendly flirtations with both eabha -- which he once thought was harmless, but now he's realizing that it might be something more???

she's certainly much higher in rank than he is (not to mention, he's an outlaw!) and she will likely soon marry someone else

not to mention, he doubts she cares for him in this way

Ela escrevia cartas de despedidas a todas as pessoas que conhecia, qualquer um que entrasse em sua vida e tivesse um espaço em seu coração,por menor que fosse,dono da quitanda,o bilheteiro do cinema,o vendedor ambulante, até os vendedores de ovos,sentiria saudades de todos que não pudesse mais ver,as cartas não eram guardadas,era entregue assim que os via de novo,a cada semana entregava no mínimo uma pra cada um,sua classe tinha vinte alunos e todo começo de semana lá estava ela entregando centenas de cartinhas com belas palavras,umas curtas agradecendo a boa alimentação a tia da cantina,e umas bem longas para sua grande amiga Valentina,as vezes eram pequenas reclamações com um jeito suave para não desagradar,mas com um tom de despedida,tipo amei a blusa que me deu,mas ficou um pouco justinha,mas enquanto eu vivi foi a minha preferida,ou assim , mamãe sinto saudades do seu bolinho de chuva e daqui de cima mando gotinhas de mel para deixar ainda mais doce e fazer você lembrar de mim, já que eu adorava rolar cada um deles no açúcar,para depois lamber,as cartas tinham um conteúdo sempre de partida, não uma mudança,e sim o final da vida, quando li a minha primeira fiquei bem preocupado,uma garotinha de oito anos com depressão, fiquei bem assustado,aliás sou o carteiro,agora já entendi que não era doença em questão,ela apenas quer que todos saibam que não são qualquer um,eles tem lugar cativo em seu coração,quer dizer a todos que ela se importa com todos, não que eles sejam só mais um coletor de lixo, padeiro, moço do sorvete ou motorista da lotação, são amigos que matam sua fome,sua sede,que a curam,mesmo dando uma doída injeção,eles a levam pela cidade,mostram filmes e a deixam mais linda com roupas e maquiagem dependendo da profissão, são pagos sim,mas não pode tratar a todos como mera obrigação,agora ela já tem doze,já recebo cartas a quatro anos, quiseram me transferir de rota,bati o pé e disse que não, expliquei o motivo e tiveram compreensão, quando ela for realmente, terá se despedido de todos que amou.
