a pet peeve of mine is stuff proudly labelled vegan but it's farmed w slave labor. like how is that vegan then.

we made this without exploiting or harming any animals!!! (but the human children forced into dangerous and underpaid agricultural labour to make this product don't matter i guess???)

like how are you gonna try to sell me child abuse chocolate and tell me it's vegan like come on

#yes this is how we got together. yes i know you remember this and it was also annoying back then #box opener #we both had to work today but managed to fit in pancake breakfast and vegan italian restaurant dinner so i consider it a success #pancakes are really outrageously good. and very easy to veganize with no decline in quality which is a perk in a Mixed Diets household #if you don't make your own pancake mix i recommend trying it at some point. it lasts a long time and it tastes nicer b/c you can combine #various flours and meals to add additional flavor beyond the enticing yet weird glue paste quality that i always get from white flour only #however i was raised on whole wheat + oat flour pancakes so i may be the only person with this problem. #forget my anniversary this is a pancakes post now. do you think pancakes are better with additional flour types???? I think her deadname is irrelevant regardless of her birth sex. Although her “chosen” name being her last mostly stems from the fact that she was struggling heavily with identity issue’s especially regarding her mothers impact. She went by her last name because she hated her first yet couldn’t completely let go of one of her mothers “gifts”, the same applies to the pearls but that more of an attempt to…reclaim them, for a lack of a better term.

Speculating on what her hypothetical birth name would be is kinda redundant. She would change it either way eventually. Although Theresa, Sarah, and Keturah are all potential options.

But if you are curious, the au where she gets therapy and is somewhat well adjusted (and NEVER meets Neil, lol.) she briefly goes by Lilith, before deciding that’s overdone and cliche. She later on goes by “Maria” which is also cliche, but makes her happy and it sticks.
