What if season 2 sounds interesting and I am really curious to see what they will do with it, all during the holiday season.
But until then, let me tell you something about season 1! The 4th episode : "What if...Doctor Strange lost his heart instead of his hands" has to be my favourite one. That's because of its darkest themes, and, along with the last episode:"What if...The Watcher broke his oath" bring the characters really close to the Watcher, something that doesn't normally happen except in desperate, doomed situations. Also, Strange Supreme is a really interesting and powerful villain, because he interacted with The Watcher, and, ultimately, Uatu searches for Strange in his decimated universe, because he needs his help. That is a lot of power for one character.
We learned that The Watcher interfering isn't a thing that normally happens. It is a last measure, after Ultron threatens to defeat Uatu and the Multiverse. The Watcher can't let that happen, which is why he finally breaks his rules.
Until the 10th of November 2023 (yes I'm talking about the Loki finale) the Multiverse was, for Marvel's Cinematic Universe and its fans, simply the question of "What if?", which is why the series is called that too. But now, anything is possible. What we'll see in the episodes of season 2 is happening somewhere, sometime, with the God of Stories watching over it. But wait, now we have 2 watchers? How does that work...?
Now I have another question: for how long has The Watcher been there? Because I don't really see his role coexisting with Loki's purpose at the end of time, and perhaps Uatu exists in either a very far past, or a very streched future from now on. Maybe his oath to not interfere is the key to not starting another Multiversal War, and it keeps the timelines separated, each on their own way. When he fails, it leads to Kang variants, and war, and the ultimate intsallement of the TVA. Orrr maybe in the future he'll take Loki's burden of the Multiverse so we can see him happy again? :)) I don't know.
Tumblr media
The episode titles for season 2 (via CanWeGetSomeToast on twitter) didn't necessarily wake my interest, but I'll still be happy to watch them. However, the last (9th) one...
"What if...Strange Supreme intervened"
Oh welllll. Things are getting twisted. The Watcher obviously has an oath. His title is fit for his purpose : watching over the Multiverse.
But Strange Supreme doesn't have such a thing as an oath. He was driven mad my his grief for Christine. The erasure of an Absolute Point in time ultimately destroyed that entire Universe, with Strange being the last and only one left alive of it all.
And he knows how it is to have your whole world ripped apart with The Watcher, well...just watching. So he has more chances to intervene in the Multiverse than anyone else right now, even The Watcher.
I don't know how likely it is for him to do this for someone's good, but maybe his own? Who could stop him? The Watcher, yes, but not before a though fight. Strange Supreme does not have rules, or an oath to respect. He might just do it, for better OR for worse.
That being said, thanks for reading!!

So...
Tumblr is the only social media I use, for a variety of reasons. What I'd like to know is how prevalent is the reaction to what Marvel did to Doctor Strange Supreme on other social media sites, compared to what's happening here. Are we just a vocal but tiny group of Stephen stans, enraged that one of his Variants got completely boned again--or is this bordering on a majority opinion overall?

Locked up (Stephen Strange x You)
*******************************************************************************************
Pairing : Stephen Strange x reader
Summary : You’re a villain and your favorite magician come to visit you in prison ;)
Words : 362
(English is not my first language... I hope you will enjoy it anyway ! :))
*******************************************************************************************
You sat alone in your cell, twirling a strand of your hair around your finger. You wore a smug expression, as if you were completely unfazed by your current predicament. Your orange jumpsuit did nothing to detract from your stunning beauty.
Suddenly, you heard the sound of footsteps approaching. You looked up to see Doctor Strange walking towards your cell. You rolled your eyes at the sight of him.
"What do you want, Strange?" you asked, your tone dripping with disdain.
"Oh, just thought I'd come and see how you're doing," he replied with a smirk.
You scoffed. "Save it, Doc. You're not fooling anyone."
Stephen leaned against the bars of your cell, crossing his arms. "You know, for someone who's supposed to be the most dangerous woman in the world, you sure don't seem too bothered by being stuck in this little box."
You raised an eyebrow. "And you think that's supposed to intimidate me?"
Strange chuckled. "No, I just find it amusing. You always act so high and mighty, but here you are, locked up like a common criminal."
You narrowed your eyes. "Watch it, Strange. You don't want to make an enemy out of me."
"Oh, I'm not worried," Doctor Strange said dismissively. "You're all bark and no bite, Y/N. You're just a spoiled little rich girl who got in over her head."
Your eyes blazed with anger. "You have no idea what you're talking about, Doc. I am more powerful than you could ever imagine."
Doctor Strange chuckled again. "Is that so? Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?"
You scowled at him as he turned to leave. "I hate you, Strange," you called after him.
Doctor Strange turned back to you with a smirk. "I know," he said, before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
You seethed in your cell, feeling both infuriated and strangely exhilarated by your exchange. You couldn't deny the attraction you felt towards Stephen Strange, even if you despised him at the same time. Maybe being locked up wasn't so bad after all.

I will not stand for Stephen Strange slander like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VIlrrQndG8
Well, that's a load of bullshit. I get not liking a character but this is such a basic misunderstanding of Stephen that I don't even know where to start.
I'm seeing a pattern lately in fandom that is starting to worry me a bit. I see many fans listing the mistakes of the heroes and using that to claim they're not actually heroes because they made a mistake or they were wrong once in the past. It's a weird belief that unless the heroes are perfect and do everything right, one single mistake is enough to condemn them. Or not even a mistake, if they take action and the outcome is anything but ideal and perfect and results in zero casualties, these fans will tear them apart.
Another thing that worries me is how many fans seem to be so against disobeying rules. I've seen this in discussions regarding CW, Wanda and now Stephen. A character not following rules is enough reason to be called a villain in these fans' eyes. But that only applies to the heroes though. The villains who do in fact break those rules are usually justified and coddled, their intentions assumed to be better than they really are and they're almost automatically made sympathetic by these fans.
Related to that, I've also noticed a lot of talk about the heroes sacrificing something big to save someone, and these fans wondering why would they even bother to do that. Like OP wonders why Stephen would get into so much trouble to save America's life when she's not that important and incursions are far more relevant. It blows my mind that these fans need to have it explained to them that yes, heroes do in fact save people. That's the whole point of their existence and the people they save don't need to be VIPs or crucial to the story, even if it's just one civilian... you gotta save them too. Do we really need to explain this now?
In Stephen's case, the whole point of his first movie is that he has to learn and let go of his need for control and his unmovable beliefs. It's to get him out of his comfort zone so that he will be open to other people's views so that he will see beyond himself. The OP just lists his mistakes and claims those are the only things that define him while at the same time completely ignoring every single time he showed he had learnt from them.
The NWH hate doesn't surprise me, Stephen was misunderstood heavily by a lot of fans in that movie, but I gotta say what bothers me the most is that OP seems to believe everyone suffered from the Snap... and what, Stephen didn't? The one man who had to watch 14 million different outcomes, who had to sacrifice his own life and had the weight of the entire universe upon his shoulders, who is most likely traumatized by it, he didn't suffer? No empathy at all for him?
And what's worse, OP blames Stephen for Wanda's behaviour. Lovely. Not the Darkhold, no, it's Stephen's fault. He should have reasoned with her. It's not like he literally tried to do that in the garden. 🙄
But this thing OP says is like a slap in the face: "Strange learnt nothing from any of this. He is still going to break the rules and cause problems because, ultimately, he's not really the one paying the price."
He's not the one paying the price. Unfuckingbelievable.

not to split hairs or whatever but wanda isn’t even a full-on villain in multiverse of madness, she’s an anti-villain. she’s been influenced by the darkhold and her own incredibly traumatic past, leading her to believe that what she’s doing isn’t wrong but is simply her taking what happiness in life she thinks is owed to her and that she thinks she can get. is what did objectively wrong? yes, but she didn’t know that. the moment she realized it, really realized it, when she looked in the faces of her terrified children, she stopped and corrected her course. if wanda were truly evil, she would have wanted america’s power in order to inflict evil on the world or something along those lines, and she wouldn’t have stopped just because her kids were afraid of her. but that’s not what happened, because at her core, wanda is still capable of good. misguided, misled, and deprived of stability, love, and safety, but still can be good.

The Strange Approach
Request: So this one is where the reader is running throughout the city from the avengers, skidding through alleys and scaling over buildings of new york, climbing up fire escapes until their stuck on one of the tallest buildings in the city. Their cornered. They decide death would be better than having whatever punishment this supposedly ruthless team could come up with, so you fell backwards, plummeting towards the ground, however instead of hitting the ground, you fell through a portal and halted in mid air, held up by magic, surrounded by the avengers and strange himself. They try to intimidate you, but you refuse to say anything, and instead tell them to just kill you already, completely serious. Strange finds this, well strange, and tries a different approach
Pairing: Stephen Strange x Villain!Reader
Warning(s): suicidal tendencies [briefly mentioned...read at your own discretion], self-deprecating reader, villain-ish reader, Stephen being a lil cutie, language (you guys should be used it by now), kinda evil avengers?...I think I got everything; lemme know if didn’t :)
Tumblr media
The sound of your shoes pushing against the pavement echoed off the empty walls of the desolate alleyway as you ran. You needed to get away; needed to escape.
The Avengers were on your tail, trying to capture you because you made a mistake. One stupid mistake that could cost you your freedom...and possibly your life.
You continued to run, constantly switching alleyways, scaling up and down buildings--anything to get away from the righteous group of so-called superheroes.
“You’ve got nowhere else to go, Snowflake.”
You rolled your eyes. Out of everything that the Tony Stark could’ve nicknamed you, he chose Snowflake. How original...not like you hadn’t heard that one before.
Out of the corner of your eye you spotted a fire escape, and quickly changed course towards it. As you got closer, you jumped; your hand barely grasping the last rung of the ladder.
Pulling yourself up was a challenge, but one that needed to be overcome--and fast. Quickly, your feet began to move with impeccable precision; each step up pushing you closer and closer towards your goal--freedom.
When you pulled yourself up off of the fire escape, you were greeted by the beautiful skyline of Manhattan. The golden tendrils fizzled down from the sun and encased the buildings with an ethereal glow--it truly was peaceful. Maybe I should climb skyscrapers more often.
The sound of repulsers charging up broke you out of your daze.
“Now, there is nowhere else to go. You’re coming with us, Elsa.”
You shook your head, “I’m not going anywhere with you!”
The patriotic man with a plan stepped forward; “Ma’am, all we’re asking is for you to come and partake in some question-”
You laughed, “I’m sure your ‘questioning’ isn’t as pleasant or simple as you make it out to be. I’m not going to conform to your demands, and all that’s going to get me is a prison cell or an early grave. So, excuse me if I wish to pass up the opportunity.”
The Widow sighed, “There is no way out of this. We’ll take you by force if necessary.”
Your eyes drifted towards the edge of the building; a single thought coming to mind. At least I’ll get to go on my own terms.
“You see, what you heroes don’t understand is that there is always another option.”
You walked over to the edge of the building, and stepped up onto the ledge.
“You do know that half of us can fly, right?” Stark, the so-called genius, taunted.
You titled your head, “How are you meant to fly with your mechanisms frozen?”
His eyes widened, and you barely heard the faint whispering of something along the lines of, “Friday, status report.”
“Ma’am, there is no need to take drastic measures.”
A tear slid down your cheek, “You guys are meant to be superheroes--you’re meant to protect us; meant to protect me. Instead you’re hunting me down like I’m some sort of animal. I’m not a threat; I haven’t hurt anyone.”
The one with the bow and arrow sighed. “Lady, we don’t make the rules. We just follow orders.”
Another speckle of sadness streamed down your face, “And look where that got you! Chasing some innocent civilian around the city like she’s some sort of monster! What makes you better than any of them?”
With a deep breath, you looked them in the eye.
“I’m not going to subject myself to whatever the government or anyone else deems necessary to neutralise a ‘threat’ like me. I deserve better. Society deserves better.”
With a final step backwards, you fell.
You had done it. You were falling; endlessly falling. Every decision you had ever made passed through your mind. If only you hadn’t tried to save those people, you wouldn’t be here in this mess if you didn’t.
The wind flew through your hair, reminding you that you only had a few more seconds left on his earth.
“Please, forgive me.”
You closed your eyes as you plummeted to the ground...only the impact never came.
Slowly opening your eyes, you found that you were once again face to face with the Avengers...and some man with a floating cape?
“That was a tad bit dramatic, don’t you think?”
Tears freely streamed down your cheeks as you held back a sob. You didn’t escape.
You barely managed to get out a “I- I didn’t do anything!”
Stark rolled his eyes, “Pipe down, I’m not in the mood for any more of your breakdowns.”
You were then placed in handcuffs, completely unaware that new addition’s eyes were stuck on you.
Tumblr media
You were seated on the floor, your legs up to your chest as you rested your head on your arms. They had placed you in some sort of glass prison. You felt like you were some sort of freak on display.
“Miss L/n, I’ll ask you nicely one more time. How long have you known that you can control ice?”
You sat there silently; refusing to conform to any of their demands. You most likely were going to die anyways, may as well make it sooner rather than later.
The agent sighed, “You leave me no choice then. Bring in the Scarlet Witch.”
The doors opened and one of the newer members of Team ‘Good’ Guys stepped out.
The agent locked eyes with her, “You know what to do.”
She slightly nodded her head, and the agent made his way out of the room as she approached you.
She sighed, “This would’ve been so much easier if you just answered willingly.”
You shifted to face her, “Kill me, please.”
Her eyes widened, completely caught off guard by your request.
“I- I know that you have the capability to do it. I don’t want to live through whatever torture they’re going to put me through. Just- please.”
She was silent for a minute before she answered, “I’m not going to do that.”
Tears pooled in your eyes as a sob escaped through your lips, “Please. Just kill me. It’s going to happen eventually, why not do it sooner rather than later?”
Just as she was about to answer again, the man with the cloak entered the room. You put your head back in your hands, no longer wanting to deal with any of the Avengers & Co.
“I’ve got it from here, Wanda.”
She was about to argue with him but he held up a gloved hand. “I’ve got it Wanda.”
She left, albeit reluctantly; leaving you and cloak man alone in the room.
“Are you alright?”
You quickly glanced in his direction, but didn’t respond.
He moved closer, “I’m not going to hurt you.”
You curled into yourself more; both too scared and too sad to even respond.
He sighed and sat next to you, “I’m Doctor Stephen Strange, but you can call me Stephen.”
You shifted to face him.
“I’m a Master of the Mystic Arts here in New York.”
You kept eye contact with him; trying to figure out what his motive was.
“Like I said before, I’m not going to hurt you, I’m just here to talk. You seem like you need it.”
You moved closer, a feeling a sense of safety radiating from his being.
“I overheard you telling the Avengers that they should’ve been protecting you. Do you want to elaborate on that?”
You nodded your head. For some odd reason, you felt like you could trust this stranger.
“I was probably five years old? My parents couldn’t afford to take care of me anymore, so they gave their parental rights over to this supposedly nice man. He took me ‘home’ with him; except it was nothing like a home.”
You took a deep breath, “It was what I would now call some sort of Hydra base. There were hundreds of people living there, all armed with weapons from knives to some sort of high-tech guns.”
You shuddered. You hadn’t told anyone this story--and you hated re-living it.
He grabbed your hands, stroking his thumb across the back of it. “It’s fine. Take your time.”
You gave him a watery smile. “I don’t know how long I was there before they started the...experiments. All I remember is that it felt like torture and that they hurt, a lot. One day I woke up and the room was covered in ice; and I’ve been treated like a monster ever since.”
Unspilled tears blurred your vision, but you could tell that he was looking at you with a look of pity.
“You don’t wish to harm anyone. You just want the chance to live a normal life.”
You nodded your head. “I hate these stupid powers. All they’ve done is ruin my life and put a target on my back. The Avengers were right about me. I’m just a threat; a monster. The world would be better off without me.”
He grabbed your chin, forcing you to look him in the eye.
“Don’t say that again. You’re not a threat; and you’re definitely not a monster. You’re a person whose had terrible circumstances thrown upon them. We should’ve been there to protect you; it’s our job to destroy organisations like those-”
He took a deep breath, “-and on behalf of the entire Avengers Initiative and SHIELD, I deeply apologise for not dismantling them sooner.”
You wrapped your arms around him; startling the sorcerer. A few seconds later, you were engulfed in his warmth; feeling safer than you had ever been.
### IN ANOTHER ROOM ###
All the Avengers stood there in silence, wide-eyed with open jaws.
Bucky was the first to speak up. “She was a Hydra experiment gone wrong?”
Tony held his head down in shame, “I- I should’ve seen the signs of PTSD. What kind of superhero am I? I taunted the poor woman about her powers she got from years of torture!”
Wanda gasped as tears slid down her cheek, “They were going to make me show her, her worst nightmare! We’re monsters.”
Steve sorrowfully sighed, “Maybe the Strange Approach is a method we should implement going into the future.”

Two crazy theories I thought of after reading "Doctor Strange (2023) #5":
Warning: You're probably going to question my sanity after reading this.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
2 - Clea's new sister is Sofia Strange.
Tumblr media
Okay, let's start, for those who don't know who "Sofia Strange" is, she is the daughter of Doctor Strange and Clea in the comics. Well, she was, because she never came back after a single appearance in "Epic Anthology" and we can assume that Marvel "forgot" about her and she never existed on Earth-616. It never happened, no one mentions her (not even Clea), wiped out of existence. BUT... An alternate version of her appeared in "Wastelanders: Doom" last year and was already an adult. That means Marvel hasn't forgotten about her and they still know she was left out on Earth-616.
As for the theory, I started to think it would be "funny" if Umar's new daughter was revealed to be the new Sofia Strange on Earth-616. Yes, you might think I'm hallucinating, but like, if Umar really dies and Clea has to take care of her new sister, then what are the chances of Clea and Stephen naming her "Sofia"? Besides, it looks like this child is going to be Tiboro and Umar's successor, so Clea and Stephen are going to have to teach her magic. And let's face it, Clea and Stephen would be MUCH better parents than Tiboro and Umar, I would give the child 1 year to live, until Tiboro and Umar start killing each other after General Strange is eliminated. Another reason I created this theory, is that I think it's time for Marvel to bring Sofia back and expand this family even further, how can they disappear with her for over a decade? It has so much potential and this is a new chance. And of course, with this new child being created by Clea and Stephen, the bond between them will be stronger than it already is, I will NOT risk the possibility of Marvel ruining this couple again and turning them into "Mary Jane and Peter 2.0". Enough of the love drama, make these two stick together forever and have a child to take care of. If even Dormammu has a son who was born on Earth, then Clea and Stephen will take care of a child, even if it is not their biological daughter.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
1 - Dormammu will kill General Strange.
Tumblr media
What? I have to give hope to my favorite villain to do something new in comics, the guy is hungry to kill some mystical being. Anyway, this theory probably isn't "crazy", it's just unlikely, but I'm going to put it here because I want to know what you guys think of the idea.
Look, we know that Stephen and Dormammu are in the middle of a "Cold War", they are not killing each other like they used to and they are in the most possible "peace" they can have. However, one of Dormammu's most interesting lines in the third chapter of "Doctor Strange (2023)" was this:
"When I kill you, you will stay dead."
It went something like that, I don't remember the whole sentence, because I'm too lazy to remember now. Continuing the theory, we already know that Dormammu wants to kill Stephen with all the Flames of the Faltines he has, but he can't, because they are in a Cold War. BUT... Now there's a new version of Stephen Strange who is threatening to kill all the rulers of other dimensions and Umar is one of the targets. Yes, Dormammu said "I'm Out" after the attack started in the last comic, but if there's one target General Strange is going to focus on in the future, it's definitely going to be Dormammu. Even if General Strange couldn't get to him, Dormammu has to know that he might be on General Strange's hit list. So, assuming Stephen and Clea fail to defeat General Strange, who could they ask for help? Dormammu is one of those, because despite the rivalry, Dormammu has to realize what a threat this crazy guy is. Furthermore, I think it would be interesting for Dormammu to "feel something" with Umar's (possible) death, if it happens. I know, Dormammu doesn't seem to care about the rest of the family these days, but anyone who's read "Defenders (2005)" knows that Dormammu still seemed to love his sister. Yes, she betrayed him at the end (again), but I think it's possible there's still a certain "concern" within the character, something that might affect him to go after General Strange. Unlikely, I know, because Marvel... is Marvel, but Jed MacKay has already proven himself to be one of the best writers at Marvel and he is one of the best in the Doctor Strange comics. So I think it's possible for this to happen, just because of Jed MacKay and the line Dormammu said in the third chapter. Dormammu could still say something like this after killing General Strange:
"I told you... When I kill you, you will stay dead."
This would be a moment to remember for Stephen and the readers, because Dormammu is still a threat in Stephen's life. It would be a moment of "relief" for the villain too, because he managed to satisfy (a little) his desire to kill his rival, even though it was an alternative version.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Okay, no more theories and sorry if my english seems strange, because english is not my main language.
What do you think of the theories? Crazy? Impossible? What did I eat to create them? Did you like it? Comment if you want.
