Russia

Ivan wouldn’t know what to do with himself if you wore his clothing. Like, he just never expected anyone to ever… want to do that?

Plus, if you’re any shorter than 6’ 5”, his clothes are more like blankets than anything wearable.)

Mornings at Ivan's house were always cold. His dacha had been built long before the invention of home heating systems, and he had always refused to modernize anything he owned.

So, when you finally woke up, you grabbed one of Ivan's jackets to keep yourself warm while you made breakfast. It was huge, on him and you, and lined with fur from animals killed centuries ago.

The house was quiet aside from the quiet sizzling of an egg on a pan. Or at least, it was until you heard the dull thuds drawing closer behind you.

In an instant, Ivan wrapped his firm arms around you, picking you up off the floor for a second.

“G-Good morning to you too,” You tease him softly. All he responds with is a quiet grunt, muffled as he buries his face in your hair.

“Should I make you something too?”

He shook his head, “You are too perfect to be cooking right now...”

“Aww, Ivan...”

”Please wear things like this more often...“ He mumbled, seemingly embarrassed.

”What, your things? Should I steal more jackets?“

“Yes... please...“ He said, and you could feel his smile, even if you couldn't see it.

He just can't get enough of you wearing his stuff. He thinks it makes you two look like a real couple. Then everyone will know that you're his (:

Canada

From the start of your relationship, Matthew had been trying to subtly coerce you into wearing his clothes. It's like, one of his main relationship goals.

So if you did it without him asking, his brain would fry.

“D-Dear, what are you- a-are you...?” Matthew's shaking voice makes it way past your earbuds, which you promptly rip out.

You turn away from your desk to face him, and his face immediately lights up.

”Sorry, I- I didn't have an-“ Is all you sputter out before you're interrupted by a hug that sends you tumbling backwards. He's warm as he curls around you, resting his head in the crook of your neck.

”Oh. Uh-”

“W-Wait, sorry... I- I didn't mean to um-”

“You're f-”

“No- I mean-” He pulls away, letting go of you completely.

“Math-”

“Sorry!”

“MATTHEW,” You finally manage to break him out of his stuttering state, “It's fine.”

He averts his gaze as he stands before you, awkwardly playing with his hoodie cuffs, ”I- I just really think you're um- cute in that...“

”Matt, it's just a hoodie.“

”Yeah but it- it has um... that...“ He points to the maple leaf pattern covering the hoodie. That makes you pause, looking up at him like he said something weird.

“It's just leaves.”

His cheeks immediately turn the same shade as the leaves on his hoodie, ”W-Well! It's better than stars and stripes!“

Seriously, anything that shows that you're showing him over America will make him go crazy.

Germany

Ludwig doesn't have a lot of casual clothes, so you're kind of limited in your “stealing t-shirts for pyjamas” options

And sorry to disappoint, but his stoic demeanour isn't getting majorly cracked even by that.

It was a rare occurrence for Ludwig to let you do anything around the house. He cooked the meals, he cleaned the dishes, he did most of the laundry, and the sweeping, mopping, and literally any other task that had to be done. So, in a moment you thought would never come, you were actually excited to be doing the dishes for him.

But, because of his disaster of a “modern, ergonomic” sink, that meant getting water all over your shirt. And seeing how you were wearing something nice for a date night with him, you only had one choice. Throwing on one of his torn and faded old t-shirts.

After a few minutes of washing the dishes alone, Ludwig took his place beside you, leaning against the counter and watching you intently.

“Yes?“ You prompt him, and he immediately looks a little embarrassed.

”Thanks for doing this.“

”You do this every night, so like, it's fine?“

”Y-Yes, but, I still appreciate it.“ He tells you quickly, before placing a hang on your shoulder. You turn off the water for a moment, plunging the kitchen into silence again.

Before you could register it, you were pulled closer to him. 

“You should wear my things more often…” He mumbled before leaning down to kiss your cheek.

“Buy more normal person clothes then.”

Then he pulled away with a groan, “OK, the moment is over.”

Greece

Heracles probably didn't even notice until you said something. Anytime he's looking at you, your clothes are the last thing he registers.

”Oh, wait... uh- sorry,“ You blurt out once you look down and remember what you're wearing, ”I forgot to ask if I could...“

He looks over you as your hands fidget with the hem of his oversized t-shirt. The design said something in Greek, but all you could make out were the words ”FOOD“ and ”CATS” (It was more important that it was comfortable than stylish.) For his part, he looked completely disinterested in whatever you were saying.

“If you could what?” Heracles asks, his tone dry and tired.

“If I could wear your shirt...”

“Oh,” Then he glances over your direction, barely looking over his tea, ”Yes, I see that now.“

”Do you... care?“

”No.“ He says as if what you had just asked was as obvious as the colour of the sky. Despite that, it didn't seem to bother or excite him in the slightest.

He might find it a little amusing when his clothes don't fit you, but generally he doesn't care. He believes strongly in the idea that ”What's his is yours, and what's yours is his.“

Because of that, he'll steal your clothes too. And he might rip them. Oops.

I know a bunch of people have been pointing out that if you take the first letter of the start of each song on Aziraphells playlist it spells ineffable and Crowleys spells out tempting! After listening to both sound tracks separately and then putting them together (like I did above) I was messing around with other contexts/meanings. If you take the first letter in each song you get something like this:

Then if you separate them by playlist and rearrange them to sorta spell words. You can sorta make out ineffable and tempting but when you go to rearrange the letters it looks something like this

The first two words are kinda ingrained into the season one story line and book. I think it’s interesting that there only needs to be one letter added to form wisdoms. I have two theories about this word:

the first is that This could be hinting at Gabe’s role in the season 2 plot line. Maybe something to do with his lack of ‘wisdoms’ with who he is.

The second is this could be hinting at the over all plot of Crowley and Aziraphell having gained ‘wisdoms’ from surviving the apocalypse and successfully stoping it

Starting out with AZIRAPHALES POV!

Today has been one of the...longest days I've had being Archangel. and that's saying something seeing battling with not picking up that phone to call Crowley is an everyday battle that occurs.

Maybe today is the day I lost that battle.

Even if I wanted to call him, what would I say?

"Hey know I rejected you but want to forget all of that and just come to Heaven with me?" I'm pathetic. Can't even keep my own friend. Not even my friend but my best friend. Someone who I even could have called my boyfriend. Mine. But I threw it all away. To protect him. But he'll never know that. He wouldn't even give me the time of day. Which I'd understand, if I were him I'd do the same.

I just wish there was some way to fix this, to fix us.

CROWLEY POV AHAHAH WAHOO

It's been 3 months since...the thing.

He hasn't even called. Even if he doesn't like me, wouldn't he still want to be friends? Maybe he never wanted to be friends in the first place. He did kind of get stuck with me all these years.

I want to call him. But what would I tell him?

"Hey even though I told you I wanted it to be us and you come with me somewhere to get away from everything, and even though you rejected me, still wanna be best friends?" Maybe he's moved on. Actually made more friends up there. Forgot about me. I miss him so much it hurts.

I wish we could go back to normal. Our normal. Us.

AZIRAPHALE POV

Paperwork is officially the most boring thing to do anywhere and everywhere. I'd rather be fixing Armageddon all over again.

*alarm goes off throughout Heaven*

"What's going on?" I stand up and run out to see what's going on.

"Aziraphale! Something's going on down on Earth with the Antichrist child! He's becoming evil again! You stopped Armageddon once before? Can you go try to fix it again?"

I was J-O-K-I-N-G about the Armageddon thing.

"W-well I mean I'll have to try won't I? How much time do we have till, you know?" I know I'm stuttering and sounding breathless but first of all..the worlds gonna end. Second of all there is a chance that this could be an excuse for me to see Crowley.

"I'd say 5-7 days? We aren't sure what's going on, or what's got him mad this time. But when you go down it would probably be good you had some company with you."

"Thanks for the advice but I think I have someone in mind that'll be of some assistance" I practically ran out because 1. Saving the world. and 2. Crowley is going to need a lot of convincing.

Hope he still has my number?

CROWLEY POV!

I check up on Angels bookshop twice a week, for a few reasons. Hope, that he will return to me and understand. Worry, that something will go wrong and Muriel will sell a book. And Anger, that he left me. He left us.

Unfortunately for me I would go to hell and back for him literally and physically. Because I love him. I love Aziraphale.

*ring CALLER ID Angel*

"Speak of the fucking Angel?"

Uh do I answer? I mean I shouldn't but, I have to. for him. I'd do anything. Even if this is false hope.

"What do ya want? sUprEme aRchAngEl AziRaph-"

He cut me off. "Yea yea I know really funny and all but there's a problem. Like world ending Armageddon 2 problem? I need your help, where are you?" He sounded frantic and almost rushed. He's not lying about something being wrong but why is he asking me for help? Just because he knows I will?

"Oh. So that's the only reason you called me? Just because there's a problem and you know I'll do it? So that's all I am to you? A last resort?" There was a hint of hurt in my voice. Which is good because I was. I knew we ended on bad terms, but i didn't think..

I was interrupted out of my thoughts with an opening of a bookshop door, along with something almost like a strangled sob. It was Aziraphale.

"No..no Crowley I didn't call you because I knew you'd do it. I called you because you are the only one who can do it. Well do it with me. I can't work with anyone the way I work with you. You will never be a last resort to me my dear because you are the first person I'd go to."

He steps closer. My glasses start to fog up and I realize that I must have started crying as soon as he even called.

"You are my first choice Crowley. I've made wrong ones with you the last time we spoke. And even though these last 3 months have felt like indeed literal hell. It was worth it. Not because I didn't want to see you, but because I did it to protect you" He was still crying but he had mostly calmed down, his voiced had pretty much steadied. But as I thought more of myself I was sobbing, uncontrollably.

Protect me? That was the only problem? He was worried about my safety?

"S-so you like me?" Shit. shit. I just fucked it up, of course he doesn't. Why would he? I'm just a fallen ang-

"Crowley you're overthinking. I can tell by the look on your face. Nothing but the worst is going through your head. Look at me" He was worried. But he still hadn't answered my question. But still I looked at him. Looked into those beautiful eyes of his that I've tried so hard to forget. I swear I got lost for a moment.

He reached his hand up. At first it was to wipe off a tear. Then he went for the glasses. At first, as reflex I grabbed his wrist. But softly let go, waiting for his next move. He took my glasses off and slowly set them in his pocket, and he just looked at me, with a crooked like smile.

"How are you Crowley?" It was a simple question really, he said it so soft, so calm it was almost like a whisper.

"W-well you left me Aziraphale. If I'm going to be honest with you I am not okay. I'm tired, sad, and nervous. Tired, of restless nights not once getting a call from you. I'm sad because you have not reached out to me even once. But most of all I'm nervous, nervous that you've found someone else and will soon want nothing to do with me." At this point I was out of breath, I haven't talked to Aziraphale in months but here I was opening up.

"There's another feeling you have. Don't ask me how I know but I can tell, what else are you feeling my dear?"

And that's what did it.

"Hatred. I love you so much Aziraphale it hurts. Hurts so much I hate it. You leave my life so I try to forget you, tell myself it'll be a memory in the past but then you show up, months later, because everything and anything I've ever wanted and it just hurts. I'm trying so hard to hate you. But GOD AZIRAPHALE I just can't!" This time I let my anger be heard and even slammed my hands down on the table at the end for good measure. At first Aziraphale was shocked. But after not even five seconds...

He laughed at me. I had just poured my heart out to this Angel. My Angel. And he had the audacity to laugh at me?!? But what he said next..could have thrown my hatred away never to be felt again.

"Did you know that my favorite color is yellow Crowley?"

What the actual fuck?

"Well, yeah but why the fuck is this relevant to what I was saying?"

I was genuinely confused.

Silence.

Then he came over to me, lips almost touching, and he whispered.

"What color are your eyes Crowley?"

My eyes? Ther- Oh my, I'm a dumb ass hoe.

"Y-yellow?" I said breathing heavily, with Aziraphale being near me it was intoxicating. In the best way possible.

"Yea they are. Do you want to know why, even if you never stop trying to hate me, the reason I could never hate you?" He replied getting a little bit closer..I could feel the heat between our lips, just there..waiting for one of us to close the space.

"Why, no, what is the reason you could never hate me Aziraphale?"

I asked this question with the same amount of uncertainty as there was determination.

"That is because, my dear Crowley. I love you so much, that no matter what you did, said, or felt. I could never hate you."

Thats when he finally closed the gap between our lips.

At first, it was only a small kiss, to test the waters, but as soon as he figured out where I stood in this, he went in for as much as he could, refusing to come up for air. I don't think I have ever been kissed like this before, it was soft but comforting. But also at the same time hard and filled with love. It was like we were 2 teenagers that had no idea when to stop.

After what felt like hours, I was the first one to let up for air.

"We need to talk about this" As soon as I pulled away I already missed his warmth and wanted more but, we may have bigger problems.

"Yes of course, we have all but 5-7 days to talk all we want, but how about we talk just at the hotel?"

Hotel? Since when?

Armageddon. I was so caught with- nevermind that. We have a whole god damn world to save then we can worry about ourselves.

"Yes, yea the hotel. I'll get the car"

There was no way I was letting Aziraphale do this alone is there? Nah.

"Wait you're actually coming with?" Azi replied sounding genuinely confused with the whole situation.

"Well of course. You'd have to kill me to get away from you darling"

We may only have 5-7 days to live. Trying to stop Armageddon is not at all what I'd like to be doing. But if I'm spending it with my Angel?

Last days well spent.

Until recently the only DW programs I’d ever watched was their Olympic performances, as well as 08 and 09 worlds. Then I found a full(ish) replay on YT of 2012 worlds FD- VM won obviously with Funny Face which was phenomenal, but even they said maybe wasn’t their very best. I had known VM won both the short and FD, and I knew they won by a fairly big margin. I figured DW must’ve had a fall or missed an element entirely for there to be like a.. I think 4 or 5 point gap.

Then I watched their FD..

O M F G. I had never appreciated what you and others say about their shit skating skills till this point (I’m a dancer so my ice dance judgement comes from the waist up and performance quality- skating skills I can’t quite pick apart as thoroughly).

It was sooo fucking frantic. They did not stop for one second. THE RUNNING TO GAIN SPEEED 😵‍💫. Her arms swinging all over the place. It is genuinely a miracle they didn’t trip over. Her leg lines were god awful! Constantly bent and toes not pointed. He skates like he just snorted 5 rails before getting on the ice. I was actually dumbfounded.

On what fucking level could they have been considered in the same realm as vm (fairly)???? I for one adore Funny Face and think they performed it to near perfection. Not my fave free dance but even if you knew nothing about ice dance and watched the two teams you’d see VM’s ease in holds, calmness, control over their edges, their rock solid lifts. Tessa’s ballerina arms. They perform to the back row of the arena, they are believable and genuine. It’s LIGHT YEARS difference. I really was left quite speechless.

Then hilariously, in the kc DW score was like 4 points below their SB, with no obvious mistakes, and meryl says ‘that’s abit low’.. I’m thinking omg babe how much more could you possibly want for that burning trash heap of a skate??? (The cynic in me says that was the moment Marina set out burning VM’s career to the ground for her future daughter in law 🫠)

So ok that was an easy win for vm. But then how could there have been such a shift the other way in less than a season?? Like actual legitimate shift in skill in talent?? (there wasn’t, and the impending shit show through to 2014 (and beyond) on the judging side was proof of that) DW’s heads (and scores) were clearly being inflated through their asses enough by marina for them to start so easily winning without actually improving.

If vm make big mistakes that cost points fine. But they were rock fucking solid performing the most difficult programs ever attempted in the sport, only minor booboos (4CC excluded). Ok seasons was not the most stand out program but the performers and dancers and skaters they are could make even the most mundane Bock program an Oscar worthy performance. Charlie’s flailing fruit bat/butterfly at the end of sherizarde (I know what it is I just cbf spelling it right) is burned in my fucking brain and yeah ok Scott’s heavy breathing at the end of seasons wasn’t great and idk where I’m going with this at this point but even looking 12 years back this sport manages to shit me off.

The chill almost burned across your cheeks, the icy cold of the air refreshing. Nami shook her head, trying to brush off the snow that had piled onto her hair. “Dummy! You’re gonna get sick now!” She shouted, bonking your head harshly with her fist. You giggled, jumping out of the snow with a grin. You reminded her so much of your close friend Luffy right now, she’s never seen you this excited about weather before.

You fell backwards, the snow cushioning your fall. The cold on your back felt so nice compared to the hot weather you’d experienced a couple weeks ago. You started making snow angels, your face saying nothing but content expressions. Nami couldn’t help but sigh and smile, who cares if you caught a cold? All that matters is that you’re happy. The snowflakes kept falling onto the tip of your nose, melting as soon as they came in contact with your skin. Your cheeks were pink from the cold breeze, your hair now completely drenched with melted snow. Your clothes weren’t waterproof obviously, so you were absolutely soaked. Nami gave you her jacket, picking up a pile of snow and pouring it onto your head. “That’s what you get for not wearing a jacket y/n.” She said with a laugh, grabbing more snow to throw at you. Was that a challenge to a snowball fight? To you, yes it was. You immediately threw snow at her, making her start throwing piles at you as well. You tried not to aim towards her face because she’d never forgive you for that. Nami hit you every single time without fail, and you missed almost every time. At the end, you two made snow angels together, staring up at the clouds, the snow falling against your eyelashes. “Nami, I love the snow.”

You both were sitting by the tv, curled up and cuddling with each other. A blanket wrapped around the two of you, his warm body keeping you nice and toasty. You loved the cold weather, it was definitely your favorite season. But most of all, you wanted to see what the snow looked like. You had never lived in a place that got snow during the winter, this was the first year, and you got to spend it with Ace. He had dozed off on top of you, hugging your waist as his head leaned on your soft chest. You were rubbing the back of his head while he snored softly. Every now and then, you looked outside the window to see if it had started to snow yet. You saw a little bit of a twinkle outside, making you try to strain your eyes to look closer. You saw more of the twinkling in the air outside, almost like mini stars during the day. But then you realized, it was snow! It had finally started! You started tapping your boyfriend to wake up, “Ace, it’s snowing now!” You said excitedly, nudging him and squishing his cheeks together with your hands. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes, looking up at you with drowsy eyes. “What??? Sabo’s here?..” He grumbled, still half-asleep. You sighed, pinching his cheeks to wake him up, making him grunt in pain. “Not Sabo! The snow- look!” You said, pointing outside the window as he slowly got up. “Ohh- that makes more sense.” He replied with a laugh as you grabbed his wrist, running outside with him. You were indescribably happy, your eyes sparkling with excitement at the twinkling snowflakes floating through the air. Your happiness made him so stupidly happy, seeing you so excited over something he’s seen before was so adorable. He picked up a handful of snow and formed it into a ball, throwing it at the back of your head with a smirk. You looked at him with an excited and determined smile, doing the same thing as him, taking a handful of the cold snow into your hands. It almost burned from how icy it was to hold. You threw it at him, hitting his face as you laughed.

You both shared laughter as packs of snow were exchanged. When it went down the back of your shirt, it was horribly uncomfortable- and your expression made Ace start crying from laughter. His head was covered in snow later >:) You both made snowmen as well, finding anything that could be used as ornaments for it. Ace found twigs for the arms, you used pebbles for the buttons and eyes, and you found a tiny little pinecone for the nose. You grabbed your scarf and put the final touch on your snowman with a proud smile on your face. Ace kissed your cheek as he wrapped his arms around you from behind, gazing at the snowman with you. “So do you like the snow?” He asked with a grin, leaning his chin against the top of your head. “Was that even a question?”

You were making some hot cocoa for the two of you. Putting sprinkles of mini marshmallows on top as well as a swirl of whipped cream. Rosinante came up from behind and gave you a hug, kissing the top of your head softly. “Here Rosi, be careful- it’s hot.” You warned with a smile, handing him the cup. You never fail to make his heart melt whenever you do something sweet like this. But the words be careful didn’t register- and he took a sip of the drink, almost instantaneously burning his mouth. You already knew that was going to happen so you put a towel against his mouth to help him clean up. “I said be careful-“ You said with a sigh, patting the top of his head. You noticed the snow covered ground outside from the window, something you haven’t seen in a long time. “Hey- let’s go see the snow!” You said excitedly, practically jumping up and down in front of him. How could he ever say no to your smile? (He’s never said no) He nodded and followed you outside, setting foot into the crunchy snow. You had a look full of so much happiness and excitement on your face that it almost gave the man a heart attack.

You went beside the trees to run around, bouncing through the fresh snowfall. Rosinante tried to follow you, but ended up hitting his forehead on a branch, falling down, the snow that caught onto the leaves falling onto his head, completely covering his face. You ran over to him with a laugh, brushing off all the snow as he rubbed his bruised head. His face was like a little child who had scraped his knee, full of helplessness and pain. “Does it hurt?” You asked, taking a look at his forehead. You kissed his head softly with a smile, “All better?” You asked kindly. What would this baby of a man do without you?.. “Thank you love.” He said, standing up and continuing to walk around with you, giving you his coat so you wouldn’t get cold. The snow gave you a whole new feeling, something that you’ve never really felt before. You didn’t know a season, much less winter could make you feel so happy. Your pinkies were intertwined, nothing could make rosinante happier than this. Even peaceful silence could make him the happiest man on earth, as long as he was with you.
