May I request the neo trio dressed up as the we bare bears :0?
Tumblr media
Alright, this one was pretty difficult! Haven't seen any of the show in years, so I picked who was which bear purely based on which I think they'd like to dress up as from a visual standpoint. I'm not all that proud of the colored version since I sort of had to rely on direct color picking (which is under the cut), though admittedly it is clearer as to which is which.

also, for anyone unaware, I am specifically parodying this artwork for the show:

Camping with the Bears - Bears X Reader Short Scenarios
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! These are some short writings I posted as a quiz on Quotev, you can check that out here: https://www.quotev.com/quiz/15375373/Camping-With-Bears-Friends-We-Bare-Bears
I haven’t written anything in a long time so I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do! If you take the quiz, the results include: Grizz, Ice Bear, Panda, Charlie, and Nom Nom. This is just a short camping scenario that I thought of because I’m bored and I thought you guys might be too. You will find Grizz, Ice Bear, and Panda’s stories in this post and I will post Charlie and Nom Nom’s in another post so this one doesn’t get too long. It is assumed in these stories that reader and the bears + friends are already dating. But you could choose to read these as friendship if you squint past the romantic stuff.
Gender neutral reader!
Enjoy~
Grizz
"Grizz!" You exclaimed. "Where are we going?" You laughed as your boyfriend scooped you up off the couch, blanket and all, holding you tightly to his chest as he spun around. "Yeah! We're gonna go camping!" He cheered. Before you knew it, you were packed and in the car. You both decided to camp in the forest on a mountain that was little more than a few miles away from the beach, which you could see as the car zoomed down the mountain-side highway. The smell of pine-trees and redwoods was refreshing and the faint ocean breeze tickled your nose. Grizz chose a beautiful spot in a meadow clearing with the perfect balance of forest and ocean view. "Isn't this great?" He asked, taking the camping items from the car and setting them around your camp spot. "It's perfect," you agreed. "I'll get started on the tent and you can go gather some fire-wood." You reached for the tent bag right as Grizz did. "Woah, one second doll~ I've got the tent covered, you go explore and relax!" You raised an eyebrow at him. "You sure?" "Uh, yeah I'm sure." He grinned wide and your heart melted. You smiled back at him. "Okay... I'll be over here if you need some help though!" "Don't worry baby doll, I've got this," he promised. You walked aways into the woods, picking up pieces of log here and tiny bits of kindling there. But you were more interested in your boyfriend's actions going on behind you. Yeah, he told you he had the tent covered. But in reality, he had no idea how tough a tent was to put up. He wasn't going to let that stop him though. "This goes in here... yeah! And then this goes here," he thought out loud. You watched from the corner of your eye as he struggled with the tent poles. "Then all you gotta do is-" you giggled to yourself, hearing him struggle to pitch the poles into the ground even as the whole thing began to tip over on itself. You looked away for one second when: WHACK! "OOF-!" You twisted around just in time to see Grizz holding his middle, hunched over as if he had been throwing up. Your eyes widened in realization of the tent having fallen apart, he had tried to force the pole down until it snapped back and hit him harshly in his stomach! You were back at his side in seconds. "Grizz, honey are you okay?" The injured man gave a shaky thumbs up at you in an attempt to downplay his pain. "N-never be-better." "You goof," you helped him to sit on the ground nearby with a cold bottle of water to hold across his stomach. A few minutes later and the tent stood sturdily and soundly, you clapped your hands together as you finished getting all of your belongings inside. "Thanks, doll~" Grizz praises when you give him a kiss on his forehead and hand him another water bottle. "Next time, just ask me for help, okay?" ... Over the next few days, you two just go with the flow. You want to take a hike? Hell, yeah, let's go do it! Grizz wants to go down to the Beach for the day? Sounds like a plan! It's super relaxing and exciting to be spending this camping trip with your boyfriend. During the day, you hiked, climbed trees, went swimming, and maybe secretly solved a local crime or two! At night, you stayed up late telling stories, roasting marshmallows, and snuggling close while watching the stars (in-between chasing off food-stealing raccoons of course!). Once again, it was an end to a perfect day. Grizz huffed loudly as he threw down another load of logs near the fire, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand before throwing you a goofy grin. The sun would set soon, but from the look in his eyes, you could tell Grizz had an idea. "Let's go for a night hike!" He announced excitedly. He handed you a flashlight, throwing a backpack over his shoulder after fishing out his own light. You agreed happily, following your boyfriend into the darkening woods in front of you, feet falling upon a worn, narrow trail. You came across a river not too long after. Flicking on your flashlight, you could just barely make out the shadows of the fish swimming below. "Your majesty~" Grizz dramatically bowed down to you, hand held out for yours. You eyed the fallen tree he was standing on, it was wide and had landed directly over the river as if creating a crossing specifically for you. You laughed as you put your hand in his. "You sure that's safe?" Grizz gently pulled you up to join him on the tree. You stumbled forward a bit, catching yourself in his arms. "Hey, as long as you're with me, you'll always be safe," he promised. You could feel your chest tighten at this. The shadows around you lengthened, a sudden burst of orange light shining through the dense forest onto the both of you. Grizz's face turned towards the last of the light, eyes growing wide, mouth falling open in a quiet "wow". With a smile, you held onto his hand tightly... turning to watch the sunset too, you could see why he's so entranced, it's beautiful.
...
Ice Bear
"Camping could be fun!" You agreed with your boyfriend. "Where would we go?" "Ice Bear wants to go to the beach," said Ice Bear, scooting closer to you on the couch. He pointed at the pictures on the computer he held on top of his lap. You both looked through them for awhile in awe of how beautiful it looked. After a quick search of the nearest beach camping ground, you both packed up the necessary food and supplies for the next few days. Ice Bear borrowed a truck from a friend and soon, you were off on the road. You could see the seagulls cresting the clouds before you could see it. You could feel the sand in the wind as you gently held your hand out the window as you approached. The sun shone warm across your face. You were closing your eyes as you basked in it when you could finally hear it. The waves. They crashed against the sand like thunder upon rain. As they came to the shore, they brought golden specks of sand and tiny silver shells. As they went away again, they revealed the hurriedly digging sand crabs and slippery scales of retreating fish. On and on again they went, back and forth, back and forth. You grinned, not noticing Ice Bear's eyes softening as he looked over at you. Soon, he carefully parked the truck, backing up so that the tail end was facing the sea. You both jumped out excitedly, rushing to get everything set up just where you wanted it. Ice Bear lugged out his favorite travel grill and ice chest of goodies. You took to work setting out various towels and a beach blanket upon the sand along with a sheltering umbrella to shield from the sun. Everything was going perfectly. You were smoothing out the sand beneath the beach blanket to allow a better setting when it happened. Ice Bear was busy preparing a grilled lunch for the both of you. He didn't realize it, but when he was cooking, he hummed gently to himself a song he had heard when you first met. It was so quiet, only the very trained ear could hear it. Luckily, you were one so special to be able to hear him when he thought he was silent. But suddenly, he was. Silent. Nothing but the hiss of the grill could be heard. Your head popped up from over the umbrella. "Ice?" You questioned. He was standing there behind the grill as still as can be. His hands were drawn in front of himself, very much unlike him if he were entranced with cooking. You eyed him suspiciously, standing to make your way to him. "Are you okay?" You reached for his hand that he held to his chest. He flinched when you grabbed onto it and your eyes widened. "You burnt yourself!" You quickly opened the cooler and twisted open a bottle of cold water. "Let me see-" "Ice Bear is okay." "No, you're not okay!" You argued. "You're hurt!" You took his hand into yours again, more carefully this time. You poured the cold water onto the burn and inspected it for yourself. In reality it wasn't that bad. It looked as if he had just accidentally brushed against the front of the grill with the side of his hand, turning the skin an angry red. "You have to be more careful," you pouted, leading him to sit on the ground next to the ice chest where you prepared a cold compress and some Neosporin. Ice Bear said nothing as you tended to his hand. He watched you as you muttered to yourself about how he should be more careful, but that he was going to be okay. You flipped his hand gently within your own as if you were handling an injured baby bird. Ice Bear felt his face begin to heat up with all this attention. It wasn't long before you were pressing the back of your hand to his forehead, checking for a fever because of how red his face was getting all of a sudden. Ice Bear just blinked up at you with soft eyes as you concluded your check-over. "Alright, now you just sit over here and I'll finish up the food-" You cut yourself off as you glanced over at the grill. "Oh crap! It's burning!" Carefully tucking your boyfriend underneath he umbrella you were previously under with a stern, "Stay here," you ran over to the grill to try and save dinner. A lot of smoke and some charred lumps of food later, you had scavenged what edible parts you could of the burning food on two plates and brought it over to your boyfriend who had been patiently waiting where you had left him. "Ice Bear's sorry," he stated, eyes still soft as he looked over your disgruntled form. "It's not your fault, Ice. I'm just glad you're okay." You smiled at him then and his eyes grew, if that was even possible. "I love you," he reached out a hand and cupped it beneath your chin. You swore you could feel tears in the corners of your eyes like some cheesy romance novelist. "I... I love you too." He pulled you close then, moving aside to allow you a place at his side. Soon, the plates were empty, both your bellies were full, and sun began to set over the sea. The golden rays of light turned to a fiery orange, skipping across the crashing waves, and onto your skin. You relished in the warmth, shielding your eyes with one hand to see the horizon, you spotted a jumping pod of dolphins. Just when you were about to call out to Ice Bear about your findings, you turned to find that he had already seen it. He sat there next to you, eyes wide in awe, a perfect silence enveloping the both of you. Still, you smiled softly at him even if he can't see it now, cuddling closer with your head on his shoulder as the sun disappeared from sight.
...
Panda
"Camping?" You asked skeptically. "I don't know..." "To be honest, I've only been once before. But I'd really like to try it again, with you." Panda admitted shyly, nuzzling his head into your shoulder as you both sat on the couch. A long talk later and a few encouraging words for everyone and you were packed and ready to go. You both decided to camp in the woods. One, because it was the closest in case of an emergency and two, because Panda had said he had camped in the woods before. "I'm nervous but excited at the same time!" You said, helping to unpack the lifted-tent from the car. Panda agreed, helping you to set up the tent as a team. The leaves from the trees were a brilliant green and gave off a pleasant smell like that from a candle. The weather had been perfect all day so far and you couldn't be happier with how the set up was going. That is until... "Oh no!" Panda yelled, rummaging through his luggage. "No, no, no!" He panicked, this time running over to the car. The nervous man threw open the glove box, moving numerous papers, napkins, and a questionable amount of parking tickets to the floor. "This can't be happening..." Panda was on the verge of tears. You rushed over, holding onto his arm, concerned he might be injured. When you saw nothing was physically wrong, you asked, "What's wrong? What are you looking for?" Slowly... very slowly... Panda lifted the tiny rectangle in his hand, a glittery charm hanging from a braided string. His phone. "I-I forgot the phone charger!" You swore you saw a tear fall down his face. You knelt next to him, "Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry." "I guess we'll just have to save the battery for emergencies and maaaaybe the occasional picture~" You attempted to help him see the bright side. "If worst comes to worst, we could get someone to bring the charger to us. It's not the end of the world." You smiled shyly, adding quietly, "You can always look at me if you get bored." Panda choked on air, blushing furiously. "Y-your right... about the not being the end of the world part!" He pretended not to notice your last comment, though he had already begun taking your advice. ... The next couple of days, you both took your time. You searched for the prettiest places to explore in that area. These places included: the stunning oak trees as they towered above most everything around them, the large and gleaming lake (famous for coupled boat rides, which Panda just had to sneak a picture of both of you at), a traveling ice cream truck, and the several cute small forest creatures around the camp. Before you both knew it, it was the last evening at camp. Panda had a great idea, seeing the sun was beginning to set. "Let's go up that hill to get a better view!" He explained. You both held hands as you walked through the field of blooming plants and flowers trailing up the hill. When you got to the top, you both were stunned. It was beautiful. You could see most everything from here, the lake, the ice cream truck as it drove away, the tops of the oak trees, and the small forest creatures retreating into the woods for the night. You turned to Panda now, opening your mouth to voice all that you had seen, only to fall short of words. His back was to you as he had become mesmerized by the sunset. Wrapping your arms around him from behind, you nuzzled your face into his shoulder... you both watch in a comfortable embrace as the sun disappears.
...
(Sorry Panda’s is so short! I just can’t get a feel for his character lately ^^;;)
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed! Please reblog! See you guys next time!

Unexpected
Summary: Astarion has barely ever considered starting a family with you in the old-fashioned way, but an unexpected conversation might just trigger that urge.
Pairing: Astarion x femalex!Tav
Warnings: 18+. Astarion's POV. Breeding kink. Creampie. P in V sex. Body worship. Vampire bite. Blood drinking. Precum.
Word count: 2.2k
As far as Astarion was concerned, babes were merely drool and poop dispensers.
He could definitely do without having to be around one for more than the strictly necessary.
And today was one of those days.
You had offered to look after one of your friend's toddler, but he had somehow been left on duty as you worked around the kitchen.
Typical.
He glared at the tiny human that stood on his thighs, wobbling dangerously and was only kept upright thanks to his firm hold.
Astarion glanced around to ensure that you weren't nearby before he mischievously bared his fangs at the baby.
He expected fear or a screech.
But no.
She merely glared at him for a brief moment before bursting into a high-pitched laughter that pierced through his ears and made him wince in pain.
Had it not been for his fast reflexes, she would have had her tiny and prying paws inside his mouth as she tried to reach for his fangs.
“No – these are no toy,” he grumbled in utmost annoyance.
You walked into the room, straightening your dress whilst giving him a taunting glare. “Look at you! Bonding.”
He held the babe as far as he could from his face as she giggled enthusiastically, clearly finding in him some amusement.
He scoffed. “Please. Even the Nine Hells can't be as torturous as this.”
Clicking your tongue, you approached to sweep her into your arms, which caused an infernal reaction from her as she broke into a screech that would put a banshee to shame.
“See? She prefers Uncle Astarion.”
He rolled his eyes, returning his focus on the book had been peacefully enjoying before this unfortunate ordeal.
As you managed to quiet her down by shifting her attention to a stuffed owl bear toy, two soft knocks were heard on the front door.
Finally.
You allowed your friend inside who promptly took her babe in her arms.
“Please tell me she behaved,” she said apologetically. “She's teething and her temper can be overbearing at times.”
“It was no bother. She was absolutely delightful and even bonded with Uncle Astarion.”
She chuckled alongside you.
He could feel a frown grow on his face as she turned to him. “How come you two haven't considered having one of your own?”
Astarion's eyes nearly bulged out.
“Oh, it has never crossed our minds, really,” you immediately blurted out, pinching the babe's cheeks affectionately. “We're better off this way.”
Now that set him off.
“Actually, I have considered it.”
Far more often than he dared admitting, but it was not more than wishful thinking.
He was fortunate enough not to worry about unwanted pregnancies, as being a vampire spawn made the feat nigh impossible.
But he still wondered how you'd look carrying his child.
Especially with you being such the motherly type.
His eyes fell to your heaving chest for a moment, and he vaguely imagined how your breasts would swell.
“Oh? You have?” you sounded more surprised than shocked.
Your friend shifted a glance between you and him. “I'm sure Astarion here would warm up to the idea fast – so to speak.”
How he detested puns.
Once she bid her farewell and you parted ways with a gentle kiss to the babe's temple, he found himself content as silence took over.
“You meant that?”
He pressed the book in his hands closed. “Us having a child?”
You nodded.
“I don't see why not.”
You began undoing the laces of your dress as you paced into the room.
“Well, it's not like we can physically do it.”
Astarion stood on his feet, following you closely behind.
“We can.”
Your head turned abruptly to him. “You're just having a laugh, aren't you?”
Astarion had read enough about half-vampires – dhampirs – to know it wasn't as hard to achieve as one might think.
He would just need to be very persistent and be well fed.
“It is possible.”
You chuckled. “I think we would be on babe number four if it were truly possible.”
As he walked up behind you, he planted a soft kiss to the nape of your neck, moving his masterful fingers down the lacing of your corset.
He adored having you wear the most exquisite clothes he could embroider for you, but he equally adored helping you get undressed.
Just for him.
“But the real question, darling, is… would you want me to?”
As the corset loosened around you, he could see your breasts expand into fullness.
“Want what?”
The chemise underneath hid most of them from sight, but he could see your nipples faintly protruding against the sheet fabric.
He could feel himself already hardening from the topic of the conversation alone.
“Do you want me to breed you?”
His blunt words made you gasp. “You always come inside, Astarion… and nothing happens.”
Was that disappointment he detected in your voice?
Gods above…
That only served to fuel his lust.
You stepped out of your crimson dress and he shifted languidly until he was on his knees in front of you.
“What are you doing?”
He lifted your chemise just above your navel, and trailed soft kisses along your lower abdomen, feeling you occasionally flinching under his cold lips.
Your fingers tangled in his curls as a soft gasp left your lips. “Astarion?”
He did his best to ignore the ever-growing twitch against his trousers.
“Maybe we should rectify this predicament.”
You ran the pads of your fingers along his scalp in such a loving manner that he found himself humming in approval as his cold lips began to travel downwards.
“And how could you even do such a thing?”
Oh. You still thought he was bullshitting you?
He glared up at you with half-hooded eyes. “Hold on to that pole and place your leg on my shoulder.”
Astarion took pride in being a giving and caring lover who resorted to words laced with sensuality, to get you all worked up for him.
You arched a brow at him, but held onto the iron rod of the bed canopy while lifting your leg and resting it on his shoulder.
From this new angle, he was able to spot a growing damp spot in your underwear that nearly made him salivate.
The fabric clung to your folds, allowing him to spot the outline of your throbbing swell.
It seemed that your body was already getting ready for what was to come.
Hungrily, he leaned forward to place an open-mouthed kiss on the already damp fabric.
You bucked your hips instinctively against him as he teased your folds with his tongue.
He felt the first drops of precum staining his own clothes, and had no choice but to undo the lacing at the front so he could ease the unbearable strain.
The heel of your foot dug into his back as he kept adding more dampness to your underwear with his saliva, enjoying the sight of the outline of your folds.
With one hand firmly closed around his cock, he moved his lips to your inner thigh, earning a groan of protest from you.
He chuckled against your heated skin, squeezing some more precum from his tip, enjoying how it dribbled down his knuckles.
“Stop teasing…” you groaned, softly tugging at his curls.
But Astarion had something else in mind.
“I should be well fed before attempting this, if the words on those books and scrolls are to be trusted.”
A soft whimper spilled from your mouth and you pulled your underwear to the side with a sigh of relief.
But Astarion found no relief in that as he couldn't tear his eyes away from your soaked folds and the swell that peeked between them.
His cock gave him a warning twitch, as more precum dribbled outs from the tip.
You had broken his concentration with a low blow, but he still managed to part his lips, raking his fangs across the sensitive skin of your inner thigh.
“You've… never….” you gasped in astonishment as the realisation of his intentions hit you.
“There's a first time for everything, darling.”
Unlike your delectable neck, he had no experience catching your pulse in this area, so he had to drag his lips slowly, in search of that rhythmic pulsing that drove him insane.
“Astarion…” you moaned, rolling your hips.
Once he found what he was looking for, he dragged his tongue along the sweet spot before sinking his fangs into it.
He had anticipated you would squirm under his touch, so he anchored you in place by hooking his arm around your thigh.
Astarion reckoned he would never tire of feeling how hard and warm his cock would get whenever he fed on you, your blood rushing through his body like molten fire.
As he kept downing your blood and keeping you steady, he began to feel the veins that snaked around his cock bulging and he nearly lost it.
Your fingers were still buried in his hair, tugging firmly as your hips rolled on pure instinct.
Through his bloodlust, he managed to shift his gaze only to be met with strings of your wetness dangling from the entrance.
Gods… you were so ready to be bred.
He could feel your arousal.
He could taste it on his tongue.
His hand was doing an adequate job at giving his now heated cock some relief, but he knew he would only find true solace in being buried deep inside you.
Your blood had begun to spill from the corners of his mouth and he felt it trailing down his chin and neck.
With all the willpower he could muster in that moment of blinding hunger, he managed to tear away from you skin, rising to his feet as your leg dropped from his shoulder only to be caught on his arm, effectively keeping you spread for him.
His cock accidentally brushed against the twin marks on your inner thigh, blood coating the leaking tip of his cock.
He let out a hiss as the warm liquid dribbled down his length, mixing with his precum.
Your hand dropped to the back of his neck and you pulled him into a searing kiss, tasting yourself on his soaked lips.
With ease, he shifted closer until the tip of his cock was nudging at your entrance.
You broke the kiss. “Do you think you drank enough?”
His cock twitched violently from the despair in your words.
“There is only one way to find out, darling.”
You licked your lips, jerking your hips to have his tip slide inside.
Then he felt your hand snake in between your bodies until your fingers were wrapped around his length, giving it a trying squeeze.
“You're so, so hard, Astarion…”
Astarion could get even harder just from your praise.
His cock twitched again and he couldn't stop his hips from bucking, gradually burying himself deep within your warmth.
He sank all the way through, bringing his other hand to close around the one you had around the iron rod of the canopy, desperate for support as he thrusted into you.
Soon enough, you had matched his tempo, moving in unison with him.
From this angle, he could see the faint streaks of blood spread around his cock as it spread your folds, allowing him to see how swollen you were for him.
“So eager to be bred, aren't you?” he said in between groans.
You whimpered in response, unbuttoning the front of your chemise.
Astarion nearly came as your bare breasts came into view, swaying with each thrust. Your nipples had hardened completely and he felt his balls tighten.
“I want to see how big they will get.” he moaned more to himself, knowing he was getting closer and closer to his release.
Your mouth fell open but no words came out.
Instead, he felt you squeeze his cock desperately, drawing a primal growl from deep within him.
He truly wanted to know how bigger your breasts would get from carrying his child.
His balls tightened even harder and he felt the familiar wave of overwhelming release wash over his body.
He somehow managed to keep his gaze on your swaying breasts as he spilled deep inside you, feeling his cum shooting rhythmically inside you.
Desperate to feel your own contractions, he placed his thumb between your folds, circling your swell and slowly but surely driving you over the edge.
“Let go, darling…” he urged desperately, wanting the last drops of his seed to be milked out of him forcefully by your contractions.
As your breath quickened and your arms looped around his neck, he knew you were a goner.
You stilled momentarily, rhythmically contracting around him with a gasp.
He glanced down to see the bulging veins along his cock being squeezed as cum began to spill out around him.
Astarion had no idea how much cum he had spilled inside you, but what he did know was that he would gladly spend it all if it meant getting you pregnant with his child.
As you shuddered against him, he placed a soft kiss to your temple.
“Do you think it was enough?”
He chuckled. “I won't stop until it is.”

The coffee finished brewing minutes ago, but you’re still standing by the pot, watching Anderson’s daughter toddling around the bullpen on chubby legs. She’s not very adept at walking, but her spirit is indomitable—every time she tips a little too far forward, she catches herself and gets right back up. It’s not like she’s doing anything particularly impressive or even interesting, but you can’t take your eyes off her. Every movement makes your heart twinge, every giggle or curious quirk of her head is so adorable it physically hurts in your chest.
From your peripheral vision you see Spencer approaching, bearing his own empty mug, but not even he can draw your attention away from the adorable little pixie and her tutu and her pigtails.
“That is the cutest kid I have ever seen in my life,” you whisper to Spencer, hoping the quiet tone of your voice will help hide how much you feel like cooing and squealing.
He smiles to himself as he pours his coffee.
“That’s Rosie. Have you said hi yet?”
“I’m afraid if I talk to her I’ll try to keep her.”
“She is pretty adorable.”
You turn to him as he leans next to you on the counter, sipping his coffee casually.
“Adorable? Spencer. Puppies are adorable. You’re not understanding the magnitude of what I mean right now. I can’t explain to you how much adorable doesn’t cut it. I’m not kidding about the child abduction thing.”
HIs eyes slide around the room as he chuckles into his mug.
“Let’s maybe not joke about kidnapping a child in FBI headquarters.”
“I’m not joking,” you hiss. “I feel like I’m going insane. I just—”
At the last second you stop yourself, pulling your bottom lip between your teeth.
“You just what?” Spencer asks, adjusting the hem of your shirt with his free hand. You glance down, watching the care he takes in the tiniest detail that you wouldn’t have given a second thought to.
“Is something wrong with my shirt?”
His eyes flick up to yours, hazel tinted with mild surprise.
“No. It just was sliding up your waist a little bit.” As he says it, his knuckles brush the bare skin of your torso. You suppress a shiver, studying his profile once he pulls his hand away and goes for another sip.
“Can we have one?”
Your inopportune timing results in coffee dribbling down Spencer’s chin as he quickly attempts to wipe it away, wide eyes torn between you and trying to assess the mess he’s made.
“You--you mean like a baby?”
“Yeah, like a baby,” you say, grabbing his shoulders and squaring them to you before dabbing the coffee from his face and jacket. He watches on as you clean him up, completely still except for his wandering eyes.
“I thought we were waiting on that.”
“Waiting for what? A better time? There’s never going to be a good time with this job. And it’s not like we’d have to quit. Look at JJ. She has two and still does it.”
“First of all,” Spencer begins, quickly recovering from your surprise proposition, “I don’t love the idea of either of us being in the field with you pregnant. And secondly, JJ also has Will and her mother to take care of the boys. We don’t have that. We’re both here all the time.”
“I don’t care,” you groan, trashing the paper towels once you’ve done the best you can with his clothing. “We’d figure it out somehow!”
“Mhm. It sounds like you’ve really devoted some careful consideration to this.”
You drop your head to your shoulder, giving him your best puppy dog eyes and pulling lightly on his shirtsleeve.
“Oh, come on. You haven’t thought about it at all? My perfect brain and your pretty face fusing to create a future Nobel-prize winner? Imagine how cute she would be, Spencer, we could put her hair in little braids and pigtails and we could dress her up and she could be in soccer and ballet and—”
“She?” he smiles, studying your face intently. You roll your eyes.
“Yes, she. Obviously we would have a girl. You—”
The idea of Spencer as the father of your daughter hits you like a tidal wave, stopping you dead in your tracks. The images materialize in your mind’s eye so clearly, it’s like they’re already memories, so real and tangible you have no doubt it must come to fruition someday. But if before, your ranting was mostly a silly fantasy—now it’s become a bit more intense.
He seems to sense your shift in mood. The big smile thaws slightly as he subtly grabs your hand on the counter.
“What? What’s wrong?”
There he goes again. Being kind. Being perfect.
Tears sting your eyes, but you don’t let them fall.
“Nothing. Nothing is wrong. I just... didn’t realize how badly I actually wanted that until I said it out loud.”
The concern in his eyes softens to pure affection as he runs his thumb over the back of your hand.
“I want it too. And whenever you decide you’re ready I’ll drop everything for you.”
His words are like compounding pressure to the deep heat within you—forming something so solid and perfect you don’t have to wonder if it’s real. A ten on the Mohs scale, a concept that gets closer to actualizing by the minute.
Your voice is quiet, revelatory as you admire the amber facets in his eyes.
“You’re ready?”
“I’ve been ready for quite some time,” he admits. And at once you feel the certainty of him paint your past and your future with one broad brushstroke. One day you will look back on your life and remember the time before Spencer, and that will be it. There is before Spencer, and with Spencer, but never an after Spencer. He wants to create something utterly permanent with you. “Come here.”
He sets his mug down, carefully pulling you forward so you’re toe to toe with your back to the rest of the BAU; so that only he can see you. Despite how good the two of you are at avoiding PDA, occasionally an exception is made. He tenderly wipes away the few tears that have sprung from your waterline and accepts your arms around his waist, mirroring your embrace and completely enveloping you.
“I love you,” he murmurs against the top of your hair, quiet enough that nobody in the office has a chance of hearing it. You sniffle.
“I love you too. Also you smell really good.”
He chuckles, hand roaming up and down your back for a moment.
“And that is why we are holding off on this at least for a while.”
“What do you mean?” you whisper indignantly as he gently peels you off him. His hands remain a steadying force on your waist as he smiles down at you beatifically.
“I mean let’s give it two weeks and see if you still want a baby when you’re not ovulating.”

This is one of the few times motherly yan is ever vulnerable where reader can leave yet motherly yan looks so pretty in that nest, begging for reader's knot and pleading for pups. Long story short-Reader is never able to leave lol while motherly yan is satisfied with himself for babytrapping alpha reader♪

The Script
Pairing: Peter Parker x reader
Synopsis: you and Peter break up once you find out his secret and he falls apart
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“We broke up.”
The words fell out of Peter’s mouth as he pulled his mask from his tear stained face. Ned turned around in his desk chair and pulled his earbuds out of his ears.
“What? No way.” He laughed dismissively at the assumed joke until he noticed the red rim around Peter’s eyes.
“It’s true. She broke up with me. She doesn’t want to be with me anymore.” Peter repeated through a childlike cry.
“But I thought you had a date tonight? Did something happen?”
10 minutes earlier
“Peter?”
Peter froze in the alleyway and stopped looking for his backpack. He turned around slowly and saw you standing there under a harsh street light with his backpack in your arms. The webs he had shot on it to keep it secured against the wall were still hanging off.
“It’s you? You’re the Spiderman?” You asked in a voice barely above a whisper. You were looking at him with a mixture of betrayal and confusion as you clutched his backpack like you were a child with a teddy bear. Peter still had his mask on so he stayed dead silent.
“Say something.” You seethed, a newfound anger in your voice and eyes. Peter gulped and nodded his head, knowing there was no point in lying.
“I am.” He said, making your face crumble when you heard his voice. You held the backpack tighter and stared at him as your face crumbled.
“What are you doing out here? Did you follow me?” Peter asked you.
“No. You never showed up to our date. I called you when I was walking home. Alone. I heard your phone ringing in this alley way. It was in your backpack. Here’s your stupid fucking backpack.” You said through clenched teeth and threw the backpack at him. He caught it with ease and dropped it to the floor.
“There have been Spiderman sightings on Youtube for years. Years. You never told me?” You asked and surveyed every inch of his suit as you saw it up close for the first time.
“Nobody knows.” He said quickly. “I mean, May knows. And Ned. And a handful of people I work with. But that’s it, I swear. I don’t expect you to understand this all right now but please believe that I have to keep my identity a secret for my safety. And your safety too.”
“You don’t expect me to understand?” You laughed and tilted your head to the side as if to ask if he was serious.
“I just mean that I know this is a lot to process right now.”
“It’s not a lot. You’re the Spiderman and you never thought that was something I should know. I had to find out on accident after getting stood up for the hundredth time. But, sure, I’m glad Ned knows.” You nodded and looked up so your tears wouldn’t fall.
“I would’ve have told you eventually. I just needed more time. If people knew who I was, everything would change. I wouldn’t be able to help people there way I do now. I couldn’t tell anyone.”
“Since when am I just “people”and “anyone” to you?” You shook your head. “How could you keep this from me for this long? We’ve been dating for over a year. And I’ve known you since middle school. How much time did you need?“
“I don’t know. It just never felt like the right moment to say it. I wanted to tell you so many times.”
“You just never did.” You shrugged. Peter recognized that the situation was quickly escalating and you were not reacting the way he always imagined you would.
“I don’t understand why you’re getting upset right now.” Peter said calmly. “I thought you’d be happy to understand why I have to miss so many dates and flake all the time.”
“You thought I’d be happy to learn that you’ve been lying to me for our entire relationship?” You laughed again as tears fell down your face.
“I wasn’t lying.” He defended. “I just couldn’t tell you the truth yet.”
“Yet. Right.” You smiled tightly. “We’re over a year in but haven’t gotten to the point where you can be honest with me. I see.”
“I am honest with you. This is the only thing I’ve ever lied to you about. I promise.” He said and tried to step closer to you. You immediately stepped back and hugged yourself.
“I thought you loved me.” You said as you stared at the ground.
“I do love you. How can you even question that?” He laughed in shock. You looked up at him and he saw that your anger had turned to sadness.
“Peter, you stood me up countless times. Tonight included. You let me cry myself to sleep for so many nights. All those times I walked home alone after already getting to the restaurant or watched movie by myself through tears because you couldn’t bother to show up. You knew I was feeling insecure lately about the distance between us but you still decided to say nothing to cue me in as to why it was happening. Do you know how painful it is to feel someone you love pulling away and have them tell you your suspicions are all unfounded? How long would you have let me feel that way if I hadn’t caught you tonight?”
“I…I don’t know. I’m sorry. I didn’t think about how this was affecting you.” Peter said quietly.
“Of course you didn’t.”
“Look, I know this is really upsetting now, but I’ll make it up to you. I promise.” Peter said and put his hands on his shoulders. You pushed him off of you and took a step back. Peter gulped and wondered how he was going to make it out of this conversation alive because he had never seen you reject him like this.
“You always say that. And you never do. I have a long list of things I’m still waiting for you to make up for. Why should I believe this time is different?” You asked him and folded your arms.
“It will be different. I promise. I’ll fix this. Stop walking away from me.” Peter pleaded and reached out to touch your face.
“It’ll be different. You promise. You say the same thing every time. And yet, I always end up crying over you. I shouldn’t have to cry over a relationship I’m still in.” You said as you pushed his hand away from you. An anxiety built in Peter’s stomach as he was used to you telling him it was fine every time he had disappointed you in the past. This time was clearly different and he didn’t know what to do. You turned and started to walk away from him so he quickly followed after.
“Where are you going?”
“Home, Peter.” You said without stopping.
“No. You can’t leave now. We have to talk about this. I’ll listen to whatever you have to say. You can take it all out on me. Just don’t go, please.” Peter begged as he stepped in front of you to stop you.
“I don’t want to cry anymore, Peter. I’m done. This is done.” You cried and pushed past him to keep walking. Peter froze when he heard you use that word and felt his blood run cold.
“What? Done? Done with what?”
“With you. With us. With all of it. I’m not doing this anymore. I’m breaking up with you.” You said as you turned around to look at him. Peter felt his stomach drop and could barely hear you over the sound of his heart pounding in his ears.
“What? We can’t just break up. I love you.” He protested as he got that feeling in his nose that told him he was about to cry.
“That’s not good enough for me.” You shook your head.
“What?”
“You can say you love me as much as you want but until you prove that, I can’t be with you. I won’t be with you. I’m done.” You repeated and turned to walk away again. Peter quickly ran after you and dropped down to his knees in front of you.
“No, no. No. Please. Don’t leave me. Please. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry, baby. Just give me one more chance.” He begged as he took both your hands. You looked down at him for a long time as you thought things he wished he could hear.
“Please.” He whispered, barely audible. You looked up again but it was no use to stop your tears from falling.
“Say something.” He pleaded and squeezed your hands.
“I’m saying goodbye.” You said after a beat of silence. Peter made the mistake of letting his hopes build up during that silence. He stayed on his knees as you pulled your hands out of his and walked away. His tears fell rapidly down his face and it wasn’t long before his heartache turned into misplaced anger. He got off his knees and turned in your direction.
“You’re not being fair.” He called down the street. You stopped in your tracks and turned around.
“Excuse me?”
“This isn’t fair. I didn’t ask to be bitten. I didn’t ask for this life and all this responsibility. But it happened to me and I’ll never know why but I do know that I have to do something about it. I wish I could be a normal guy my age and take my girlfriend on dates, but I can’t. I have a duty to this city to protect it. I hate that it’s true but sometimes, I have to chose helping someone in need over spending time with you. You’re acting like I went out of my way to neglect you on purpose.”
“I understand that you didn’t choose this, but you could have told me all of that from the start. Then maybe I would’ve been more sympathetic. But right now, all I can think about is every little lie you told me to keep me in the dark. Oh, I’m sick. Oh, I have homework. Oh, I have to help my boss with something. Tonight, you told me you weren’t gonna make it to our date because your aunt needed help with something. You didn’t even care enough to lie about what she needed help with. But, yet, at least I got a lie tonight. Sometimes you just don’t show up.”
“I had to lie, okay? Do you have any idea how much danger I’d be in if you let it slip who I really was?”
“So is it that you couldn’t tell anyone or you couldn’t trust me not to tell?” You asked as you walked back up to him.
“You know how you are. You tell your friends everything.” He said coldly.
“Are you seriously saying this is my fault?” You raised your eyebrows.
“I’m not saying it’s your fault.” He sighed. “I’m just saying that you’re being kind of selfish right now.“
“I’m being selfish?”
“Yes, you are. It’s selfish to expect me to prioritize you over the safety of-“
“Of who?” You cut him off. “Of literally all of New York? Of the world? Where does your domain of responsibility end? Who do you prioritize me over? Where do I rank? When do I matter to you?”
“That’s not fair.” Was all he could say because he didn’t know the answer to your questions.
“You know what else isn’t fair? Making me have to be the only bad guy here. Because the funny thing is that I would have been proud of you. I would have been honored to be the girlfriend of someone who risked their life and gave their time to protect people they didn’t even know. But you never gave me the opportunity to feel that way. You chose to lie to me. You chose this over me every single time. You never chose me. That’s why we’re breaking up. I would have understood if you needed to prioritize saving lives over dates with me but I cannot understand you lying to my face every single day for years. I spent birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and countless nights staring at the empty seat I saved for you that you never showed up to. So no, I don’t think I’m being selfish right now. I don’t think it was selfish of me to share my boyfriend with all of New York.”
Peter was quiet again as he processed what you had said. There was no way to undo what he had done and it was clear apologizing wasn’t cutting it this time.
“I don’t know how to be without you. You’re my best friend. None of this matters without you.” Peter said in a small voice. You sighed and felt sympathetic towards him for just a moment.
“Peter, you were and always will be my first love. That’s always going to mean something to me. But now I have to look back at our relationship and never know what was real and what was a lie. If you’re not going to choose me, then I will. I’m done waiting around for you. I’m done.”
“Please, don’t give up on me. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” He croaked out.
“But you did.”
“I know. I know I did. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, baby. I’ll never stop trying to make things right.” He pleaded and tried to reach for you again.
“Don’t bother, Peter. You need to stay away from me for a while.” You told him in a calm voice.
“What? How long?” He blinked in disbelief.
“I don’t know. A long time.”
“But can we at least be friends? Like we were before?” He asked desperately.
“We can’t be friends.” You shook your head and turned to leave again.
“What? Not even friends?” His voice cracked as he called after you.
“I can’t be your friend. I can’t be in any kind of relationship with you. That’s what I’m trying to say here. I don’t trust you.”
“Ever?” He squeaked out. “We can’t ever find our back to each other?”
You didn’t answer him as you walked home alone. Peter stood on the sidewalk for a long time, unsure of what to do with himself now. He wanted to run after you and get you to see his side, but he knew that would just make things worse. You had said what you needed to say and he had to respect that as much as it pained him to see you walk away. Instead of going after you, he swung to Ned’s house and climbed through his window.
“We broke up.” The words fell out of Peter’s mouth as he pulled his mask from his tear stained face.
Peter let a month pass before he tried to speak to you again. Minus a few texts and voicemails left on particularly miserable nights, he had left you alone for the most part. But after counting down the 31 painfully long and quiet days without you, he went up to you in the hallway on campus one day.
“Hey.” He greeted you with an anxious smile. You stopped walking and looked behind you to make sure you were the one he was talking to.
“Hi.” You said with knit eyebrows of confusion.
“How are you? How have you been?”
“I’m fine.” You said flatly.
“Did you just come from class? Was it okay?”
“Um, I really don’t want to be mean here but why are you talking to me?” You asked him. Peter blinked in surprise at your response and lost all the confidence he had built up.
“Oh, um. I don’t know. We haven’t talked into a month. I was giving you space.”
“Why’d you stop?”
“Stop what?”
“Giving me space.” You replied. “I still don’t want to talk to you.”
“But it’s been a month.” He pointed out and realized how silly he sounded as it came out of his mouth.
“Okay? We ended a year long relationship and years of friendship. We can’t just go back to normal after that.”
“But…but we’re different.” He stammered. “We were different. I thought, I don’t know, maybe…”
“Maybe what? I’ll just forget about the shit you put me through?” You asked when he trailed off. He shut his mouth and went quiet and you couldn’t help but feel bad at the deer in headlights look he had in his eyes.
“Peter, I told you.” You sighed. “We can’t be friends.”
“I know we can’t go right back to how we were but we don’t have to pretend the other doesn’t even exist.” He insisted.
“No, Peter, you’re not understanding. I won’t be your friend. I won’t even fake niceties with you. I’m not trying to be mean but I don’t want you in my life in any capacity. I’m not changing my mind on this.”
“We can’t just never speak again. Our story can’t end like this.” He said quietly and you could tell he was on the verge of tearing up.
“It wasn’t supposed to. But it is. So please, just leave me alone.” You asked calmly so that he wouldn’t break down.
“I can’t. This is killing me. You and I not being together doesn’t make sense to me. Please. I’ll do anything to make this right. I still love you and-“
“Peter. Please. We’re at school.” You cut him off and uncomfortably looked around for who was listening.
“You’re telling me you don’t feel anything for me anymore? Because I don’t believe that. I know you. I know you can’t shake things that easily.”
“I didn’t think so either. But I’ve never been hurt like this.”
“Then can we please go somewhere and talk? I’ll listen this time. I swear.” Peter pleaded and stepped forward to touch your arm. You stared at him for a minute and looked sympathetic so he thought you might say yes.
“I can’t.” You said finally. “I have class. I have to go.”
“Oh, okay.” He nodded in disappointment. “Maybe some other time then. Just please know how sorry I am for hurting you.”
“You don’t need to keep apologizing, Peter.” You sighed. “I’ve moved on. I think you should too.”
“You’ve moved on? Like, with another guy?” Peter blinked a few times to stop the tears he felt threatening to spill out at this new bit of information.
“Not that it would be any of your business if I did, but no.” You amswered. “I just mean that I’d been mourning our relationship before it even ended so I accepted our breakup a long time ago. I’ve moved on now.”
“Were you really that unhappy?” Peter asked in a small voice.
“Well, yeah, Peter.” You admitted. “I loved you when you were around but it felt awful the nights you were gone. I felt completely alone a lot of the time. And even when you were with me, I was never sure you wanted to be there.”
“I always wanted to be with you.” He promised. “If you ever believe something I say again, just know how badly I wished I could have been there with you.”
You chewed your bottom lip and stared into his eyes as you tried to decide if you should believe him or not. You swore never to believe another word out of his mouth but his tired eyes seemed so genuine that you knew there must be truth to his words. But even if he was telling the truth, that didn’t matter to you anymore.
“I can’t talk about this right now. I have class.”You repeated. “Get some sleep tonight, okay? You don’t look so good.”
Another month went by and Peter was starting to feel used to not speaking to you. The thought of it beginning to feel normal to not have you in his life scared him so he called you up one night and listened to your voicemail with tears in his eyes. By month three, he pretty much just felt numb. He was falling to pieces very quickly and you were the only one who could save him. He’d seen you around on campus and sometimes get a pity wave if he stared too long. Every so often, he’d follow you home but keep his distance on rooftops. He swore you knew he was there as sometimes you’d stop and look up. He made no effort to hide but you made no effort to seek him out.
Peter was on his nightly patrol one night when his police radio started going crazy. He heard the words “bus crash” and “pile up” being reported over and over so he picked up his radio to listen for where it was. Once he had a location, he swung to the bridge and landed in the middle of the scene. Peter saw one of the large city buses on its side and twenty some cars piled up behind it. Police officers were already on the scene and helping people but Peters senses were telling him danger was still present.
“How can I help?” Peter asked an officer.
“Usually I don’t like seeing you at crime scenes but you might be able to help us. A bus is about to over the side of the bridge and our extraction guys are having a hard time getting onto the bridge with all the traffic.”
“Which bus?” Peter asked and looked around.
“It’s over there. Bus Q8.” The officer pointed out. There was a bus hanging over the side of the bridge with its nose pointed towards the water. Peter could see people inside trying to stay calm so they didn’t shake the bus.
“Q8? My girlfriend takes that bus.” Peter’s mouth went dry as his head shot back to the bus teetering over the edge of the bridge.
“Then you better hurry.” The officer called after Peter. The bus was on its side so Peter opened up the emergency hatch on the top and climbed inside. He calmed down the people on the bus one by one and assured them that he was there to get them to safety. As he spoke to the passengers, he kept an eye out for you but didn’t see you in any of the seats. You normally took the bus home at this time and Peter found it hard to believe this was the one day you didn’t.
“Was there a girl on this bus with a purple backpack? She was wearing brown converse and a jean jacket today. Did any see her?” He asked the passengers.
“Yeah. She was sitting over there.” Someone answered and pointed to the back of the bus. Peter went to your seat but only found your backpack.
“This is her backpack. Where is she?” He asked and felt his fear rise quickly. He looked around and saw that the back door of the bus was opened. He pushed the door open a little more and the bus wobbled at his movement.
“Did she leave?” Peter asked with his panic evident in his voice.
“She was helping a few people get out of the back until this little boy ran out. She told the mom she’d go find him. I haven’t seen her since.” Someone else informed him.
“Okay. Thank you. I’m gonna get you guys to safety.” Peter promised. He helped people out of the back of the bus one by one after securing the bus to the bridge with his webs. Once he was sure everyone was out safely, he began to search for you. He had an anxiety like nothing he had ever felt as he searched through the crowds for your face. As he looked around the scene, he heard a woman talking to a police officer about a girl falling over into the water. Peter felt his hair stand up and approached them.
“Excuse me? Was the girl who fell into the water wearing brown converse?” He asked and hoped the answer was no.
“I think so.” The woman replied but couldn’t be sure.
“Can you tell me what happened?” He asked.
“This girl helped me get my son after he ran off the bus. He had climbed into an empty car nearby to hide so she climbed in to get him. But the car fell into the water before she could get out herself.” The woman replied as she clutched her son to her chest.
“Did…did the car go under?” Peter asked with a dry mouth. The woman looked pained at his question and he already knew her answer.
“When I looked over the side, I saw it sink under the water. I’m so sorry. There was nothing I could do. Did you know her?” The woman asked and placed a hand on Peter’s shoulder. The police officer started asking Peter questions but he couldn’t hear anything. He felt like he was about to pass out and stumbled backwards. He took off running towards the side of the bridge and looked over into the water. The rocky river water looked especially treacherous that night, sending a sick feeling to Peter’s stomach. He wasted no time and dove into the water in search of you. He swam down and eventually found a car in the water but when he pulled the doors open, there was no sign of you. Peter quickly swam up to gasp for air before going back down to look again. He did this five times before he exhausted himself. He dragged himself onto the little patch of grass at the base of the bridge and laid on the ground. He pulled his mask off and let out a guttural sob as he covered his face with his hands. He knew he had to pull himself up and help the people on the bridge but his entire body felt like lead. He rubbed the saltwater out of his eyes and took another minute to recover. As he rolled over to get himself up, he made eye contact with you.
“Peter?” You asked in a shaky voice. You were wet from the river and holding yourself as you slowly walked toward him.
“You’re okay?” Peter asked as he got up off the ground. You were shivering from the cold and he wished desperately that he had something he could cover you with.
“Yeah. I managed to get out through the trunk of the car. I was on the other side of the platform when I heard you crying. Did you go looking for me?” You asked when you realized he was wet too. Peter was still in stunned silence at the sight of you okay after accepting that you had likely drowned.
“You’re okay.” He said and started to get all chocked up again. Peter took a step forward and opened his arms to hug you hit stopped himself. He stepped back and hugged himself instead.
“What are you doing?” You wondered.
“Giving you space.” He said seriously. It made you laugh for some reason which he didn’t understand but he didn’t question it.
“Shut up.” You said when your laughter stopped.
“I didn’t say anything.” Peter said as you threw your arms around him. He stumbled back in surprise but then hugged you back tightly. He buried his face in the crook of your neck and slipped his hands into your hair to hold you closer. It felt like muscle memory to hold you again and the chill in his bones was gone in seconds.
“That was really scary. When the car fell into the water. I couldn’t breathe.” You choked out and he held you tighter.
“I know. Shhh. I know.” He whispered in your ear as you struggled to catch your breath. You pulled away just a little so that you could look at him.
“I thought of you.” You admitted. “When I was trying to find my way back to the surface. I was so tired and my lungs felt like they were going to explode but I just kept thinking that I needed to see you again. That’s what kept me going.”
“I’m sorry I didn’t get to you sooner. I should’ve been here.”
“It’s okay. You’re here now.” You smiled sadly and touched his face. Peter returned the sad smile, the kind the made his eyes crinkle. But as he stared into your eyes, he couldn’t help but think of the things you had said the night you broke up.
“I should’ve been there for you a lot more than I ever had been.” He began. “You didn’t deserve to spend all those nights alone wondering where I was. I should’ve been a better boyfriend to you. I should have just told you the truth. I don’t even know who I was protecting in the end. I told myself it was you but that’s not true because you still got hurt and I was the one who hurt you. And I’m so sorry for that. I’m so fucking sorry. I’m sorry for all of it.”
“Peter, you don’t have to do this right now.” You assured him.
“I do. Because I don’t know when you’re gonna talk to me again and I have so much I have to tell you. So I need you to know that I’m sorry for all the times you got dressed up for me and just never showed. I’m sorry I let you think the distance between us was all in your head even though I felt it too. I’m sorry for all the calls and texts after we broke up because I could never stay away from you. And for following you home everyday because you looking up when you thought to was around was the closest to an encounter that we had most days. And I’m sorry that I clearly didn’t love you hard enough if you were able to move on so quickly. I guess the absence of my love wasn’t much worse than the presence of it. Or maybe the presence of it already felt like an absence. I know I was barely there in the end. I know you deserve better. And I hope you get better. You were always the best part of me and now I’m just the loser who got really lucky that a cool girl liked him and found a way to fuck it all up.”
“You didn’t fuck it all up.” You smiled sadly. “We had a lot of good times too. We were happy.”
“Not enough for you to stay. Which I don’t blame you for. I wish it didn’t take losing you to realize how much I needed to change but it did. So I don’t blame you for being fine without me. You’ll always be fine. You’re better off now without me in your life and I’m just falling to pieces. I guess when a heart breaks, it doesn’t break even.”
You started at him for a moment as your eyebrows came together. You let out a short laugh and expected him to do the same but he just looked confused.
“That’s that song.” You said finally.
“What?”Peter frowned. “What song? I’m pouring my heart out here.”
“I’m falling to pieces, yeah. I’m falling to piece, yeah. Cause when a heartbreak no it don’t break even.” You sang quietly and Peters eyes went up in surprise.
“Oh shit. It is that song.” Peter realized. “Damn it. I thought I made that up. I’ve been listening to The Script a lot lately. Especially the one that’s like “cause if one day you wake up and find that you’re missing me and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be.” I’ve been blasting that one so much that May had to take my speakers away. So then I started scream-singing it and she threatened to kick me out.”
“It’s so like you to accidentally quote a popular song and think you made it up yourself.” You laughed softly. “You said I so confidently that I genuinely believe for a second that those were your own words. But no. It was just the musical stylings of the popular early 2000s band The Script.”
“The Script are the only people that understand me right now.” Peter mumbled, making you laugh again.
“You laugh but they make the best music for yearning.” Peter continued just to make you laugh again. He smiled at the sight of you laughing at something he had said after so many months of silence between you. When your laughter died down, you looked at him for a moment the way that you used to.
“I don’t want you to yearn anymore.” You told him and gave his hand a squeeze. Peter understood what you were getting at and nodded his head.
“Do you think we could try again?” He asked in a soft voice. You smiled a little and took a step closer to him to rest your hands on his chest.
“I think so.” You answered.
“I swear, everything will be different this time.” He insisted. “I won’t leave you lonely anymore. And we can take it at any pace you need. Just tell me what I can do to earn back your trust.”
“I don’t know. I think maybe I can trust a guy who dives into the Hudson River for me.” You said with a coy smile as you nodded towards the water.
“I really hate to do this right now but that’s actually the East River of-“
“I don’t care.” You laughed and pulled him into a kiss to shut him up.

Six Months
An attempt at some parenthood angst?
Similarly to the title, this fic has been in my WIP folder for a minute; it went through a handful of edits. I'd like to think this is good enough for y'all.
Tumblr media
Carmy sat in the office staring at the paperwork Sugar needed his signature on; when he saw the date on his phone, it hit him—today marked six months. Six months of parenthood and six months of celibacy, to say Carmy was sexually frustrated, was an understatement. “Hey Carm, did you- are you okay?” Sugar asked when she caught him staring blankly at his phone. He didn’t respond until she put her hand on his shoulder. Her touch snapped him out of his trance. He looked at her before quickly apologizing, “Sorry, what were you sayin'?” Sugar grinned as she patted his shoulder, “You okay, Bear?”
Carmy nodded and straightened up in his desk chair, “Yea- just thinkin’ bout the baby.”
Carmy got home from work late. He quietly slipped his jacket off, and hung it on the coat rack before removing his shoes. Walking down the hallway, he slipped into the nursery, knowing the baby would be asleep. He found it impossible not to be happy in her room. The walls were decorated with vintage floral wallpaper you’d bought off Etsy, it may have been a pain in the ass to put up, but Carmy happily obliged when he saw how happy it had made you. He crept to his baby girl’s crib and felt the day's stress disappear. She was peacefully sleeping in a light pink sleep sack, furiously sucking away on her pacifier. “Sweet dreams, princess,” he whispered. “I love you.”
The joy of watching his daughter sleep faded away as he approached the askew door to the master bedroom the two of you shared. “I’m home, baby.” Carmy grinned as he walked toward the open closet door, “Hi, Carm.” you called from the bathroom. When he entered the bathroom, you were brushing your teeth. As the mix of salvia and toothpaste residue dripped from your mouth Carmy’s breath hitched- was this enough to get him goin’? He shook his head as he pulled his shirt off and threw it in the laundry hamper before turning on the shower.
“How was work, babe?” you asked before bringing a small cup of mouthwash to your lips. Carmy watched as you swished it around your mouth and spit it into the sink. “Carmy?” you asked again; he swallowed. “Yeah, uh, it was good. Busy,” he answered as you hopped up on the counter. You were desperate for adult interaction after being home with the baby all day.
“Mia, have a good day?” Carmy questioned. You nodded, “We did some laundry, then had mashed pears for lunch- she did. I had that leftover pasta sauce you made... Read a couple books and went on a walk... Then did her bedtime routine, and I worked on that stupid documentary I was telling you about.”
As you recounted your day, Carmy nodded, but he was staring at your chest, barely hearing what you said. You’d been wearing one of his old T-shirts. He noticed how prominent your nipples were under the soft, worn-in material. He was captivated by the fullness of your breasts, and he’d do just about anything to touch them again. “Carm, you okay?” you asked, hopping down from the counter; he nodded. “Wanna get in with me?” he asked cocking his head in the direction of the running shower. You giggled, “Maybe next time, bear.”
“Oh fuck-” Carmy grunted as he worked his hand up and down his length. He felt like a teenager again, masturbating in the shower before going to school. However, now, instead of imagining the unrealistic scenarios he’d see in pornos, he had memories of you. Carmy thought back to the last time you’d really touched him. Heavily pregnant, hormonal, begging for his tongue and his cock… he’d expected a shift in your sex life as the two of you adjusted to parenthood, but this long of a dry spell was the last thing he’d expected. Carmy squeezed his eyes closed as he came down the drain.
~
“Good morning, princess.” Carmy cooed as Mia squirmed in her crib, trying to get out of her sleep sack. She spat her pacifier out and let out a gruggle. “So it’s one of those mornings?” he chuckled as he unzipped her. He watched her stretch before carefully picking her up, “See, you’re okay.” he rocked her gently before exiting the nursery and heading downstairs.
You were making coffee and prepping a bottle for Mia as he entered the kitchen. “You’re off today, right?” Carmy nodded in response before handing you Mia. “You goin’ to work?” he questioned, as he got two mugs from the cabinet. You groaned in response, “Jenny called off, so I have to go in. I’ll be back before bedtime.”
“Well, looks like Mia and I are havin' some Daddy-Daughter time,” you smiled as Carmy gently kissed her head before going to get the milk from the fridge. When you’d met Carmy all those years ago at some trendy Chicago bar, you found him incredibly alluring. His disheveled curls, the mix of some musky cologne and cigarette smoke, the way his T-shirt wrapped around his muscular arms… he’d always been… sexy. But watching him interact with Mia was a different kind of attractive.
Carmy drummed his thumbs on the handlebar of the grocery cart. He scanned the shelf before him as Mia happily made her baby noises as she looked around the aisle. “Okay, princess… they don’t have almond extract. What kind of grocery store doesn’t have fuckin’ almond extract.” Mia put her hands out to Carmy, grabbing at the air. Carmy chuckled and ducked to kiss her cheek.
“Oh my gosh, she’s too precious.” a sickly, sweet feminine voice cooed from behind Carmy. He grinned when he turned his attention to her, “How old is she?” she asked. Carmy got a good look at the woman; she was pretty, but she wasn’t you. “Oh, uh, she’s six months,” he answered as the woman stepped closer. She smelled like cheap vanilla and a mix of flowery scents Carmy couldn’t place. Mia glared at the woman, and Carmy scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. “I’m Selena. I’m in this parenting group. You should stop by.” she smiled as she looked him up and down. The attention made Carmy regret not regularly wearing his wedding ring. “I’m not really the par-” Carmy started to say before Selena cut him off. “I’m not takin’ no as an answer. What’s your number?” she handed him her phone.
Carmy didn’t know why he gave her his number- could he blame it on feeling uncomfortable? Was that even the right thing to do? It’s not like he’d ever do anything with this woman. He’d never throw away his marriage to you by hooking up with some woman he met at the grocery store. The reality of Carmy's actions didn’t hit him until he was in the checkout line. He gave his phone number to another woman- was that cheating on you? Did doing that in front of his daughter make him a bad father? “Okay, your total is $63.82.” the cashier smiled. Carmy nodded and swiped his card. He needed to get out of there as quickly as possible so he wouldn’t run into Selena again.
~
It had been a couple of weeks since Carmy’s interaction at the grocery store. He’d noticed Selena’s text messages here and there. They seemed innocent until one Friday night, he was working late, you were home with the baby, and Selena had sent Carmy an explicit picture, hoping it would get his attention.
We’re both parents.
I’m not looking for anything serious, Carmy…
My son is at his Dad’s place
Come over <3
Carmy stared at the messages before his eyes went up to the attached photo. Selena had the hem of her T-shirt between her teeth, showing off her toned stomach. He swallowed as he admired the contrast between her skin and the brightly colored fabric of her lacy underwear. He should block her. He should just delete the messages and block her number. He had a wife and baby at home—he couldn’t make this kind of mistake. He locked his phone and shoved it in his pocket before returning to the kitchen cleanup, “Hey Carm, I can finish this up. Go home.” Sweeps grinned as he attempted to connect his phone to the Bluetooth speaker on the counter. Carmy grinned, “You sure, man?” Sweeps nodded assuringly. “I think I can handle this boss man.”
You heard Carmy walk into the bedroom that night, “Hey babe!” you called as you put your blowdryer in its designated spot by the sink. As the bathroom door swung open, Carmy’s lips were on yours. The initial shock wore off as Carmy’s tongue invaded your mouth, and his hands pushed under the hem of your sleep shorts to grasp at your ass cheeks. Carmy pulled you closer to him, forcing you onto your tip toes. You wrapped your arms around his neck, fingers delicately tangling in the roots of his hair. The passionate kiss ended when Carmy started to kiss down your jaw. A giggle escaped your mouth as his lips brushed against your earlobe before he nipped at your neck. “Carm-m what got into you?” you croaked as you adjusted your hips against his.
“I need you, baby,” he muttered, lifting you off the floor. You squealed as he crashed down onto your mattress. He hovered above your body, staring into your eyes. “I need to be inside you, baby.” he swallowed hard as you bit your lip. “Carmyyy,” you giggled as you watched him pull his t-shirt off. You ran a finger down his chest, making him moan softly.
“Let me make you feel good, baby…” Carmy whispered in your ear as one of his hands found its way into your oversized sleep shirt. Your breath hitched when you felt his calloused fingertips graze your ribs. " I-I—" you studdered nervously. “Baby…please.” Carmy quietly asked as his lips brushed against yours. “No.” you whispered as you grabbed his wrist through your shirt, “What?” Carmy questioned as he stood up abruptly, “Did I do something? We haven’t done anything in like six months- clearly I did something wrong. Just tell me so I can fix it!” Carmy raised his voice as his eyebrows knit together in frustration.
You propped yourself on your elbows and watched as he picked up his shirt from the floor, “Carmen, please don’t yell at me.” you said calmly. You watched as he rolled his eyes and paced before you, “Baby. I want to have sex with you. I need to have sex with you-” Carmy groaned as he pushed his hands over his face into his hair. Your eyes narrowed, “Carmen. I had a baby-”
“I KNOW! I fucking know! You had my baby, but now you don’t even want to fuckin’ shower with me! I get it- pregnancy was hard, and then giving birth was hard, and now being a mom is hard.” Carmy started staring at the ceiling while he expressed himself. He took a breath and turned to look at you; regret washed over him when he noticed you were on the verge of tears. “Baby, please don’t cry…” he pleaded as he knelt by the bed. He reached for your hand, but you pulled away before he could grab it, “Sorry, I don’t want to fuck you after taking care of your baby all day.” you spat. Carmy closed his eyes and took another breath trying to compose himself before saying something dumb, “How dare I fail to meet my wifely duties.” you angrily laughed as you stood up.
You crossed your arms over your chest and stared as Carmy got up. “Baby, I didn’t—" you cut Carmy off with a groan. “Shut up, Carmen. You don’t get to speak to me like that.”
Carmy sighed and stepped closer to you, as he reached out for your hips only for you to slap his hands away. “Don’t touch me.” you glared at him, “Fuck this.” Carmy muttered under his breath as he pulled his shirt back on over his head. “What do you mean ‘fuck this’?” you questioned as Carmy exited the bedroom, “I need air.” Carmy called back to you.
You moved to your bedroom window to see Carmy walking toward his car in the driveway. He got in and pulled his phone out of his jacket pocket.

i went to physical therapy for my stupid broken arm so as is my legal obligation i HAD to make ship content about it. everything is ship content that's how it is
cw injury, referenced abusive relationships
--
Hob's had plenty of clients come to physical therapy who clearly don't want to be there. Plenty of others who are reasonably frustrated by the work and time involved in regaining functioning after an injury. But this is the first time he's just had someone be... quiet. Resigned.
Dream sits with his hand cradled to his chest, barely speaking, only answering when Hob asks a direct question. He's reluctant to give Hob his hand when Hob asks if he can look at it, like he thinks Hob's grip is a bear trap that will snap down and crush the bones like whatever had done so the first time. Hob still doesn't know what that was. All he knows is the bones have been realigned and healed over but the dexterity in his hand still isn't right. That was what Dream had said, in the first spark of passion Hob had heard from him. It's not right.
But he does eventually give his hand over. His bones are so fine and delicate, and each movement hesitant. Cautious. Hob tests the flexibility. The strength. Dream is right, it's not where it should be. He still doesn't know what happened.
"I won't make you tell me if you really don't want to," Hob says gently. "But it is important to know how it happened to make sure we rehab it the right way. Did you get it caught in something? I've seen guys come in with machine injuries like that."
Nothing about Dream suggests "person who works with heavy machinery." But who knows. Hob will try not to stereotype.
"No," Dream says quietly, looking down and away from his hand like he can't bear to see it. "I. I am an artist. My ex... he felt that I cared more about my art than about him. Perhaps I did. And he was... frustrated. I suppose."
Hob can put the rest of the pieces together in his mind. "Jesus," he breathes, and Dream flinches.
"I have an unfortunate ability to involve myself with such people," he says.
"No, it's not your fault," Hob says automatically.
Dream narrows his eyes. "You presume to know that?"
Hob raises his hands in surrender. "Never mind. I won't pry." He's not Dream's therapist. His job is to help him with his hand, not... whatever else is going on in his life.
He takes Dream's hand carefully between both of his own again. Presses down lightly on his knuckles. "So. Crushed. Like that?"
Dream nods. Hob still doesn't know all the details, but he's imagining a boot going down hard on the top of Dream's hand. The thought is sickening.
"Can you fix it?" Dream asks, like he doesn't dare to hope.
"Well, you already had it repaired surgically, yeah?" Hob says. This strikes him as a bit of good luck--hand fractures are not simple--but he doesn't want to undercut Dream's confidence even further by saying so. He's usually pretty good at reading his clients, and he's already sensing that Dream is holding onto his determination to be here at all by the barest thread. Best to build him up as much as possible. "So it's just a matter of strengthening the muscles again."
He's fairly confident he can get him back to a usual level of functioning with it. The question is whether he can return him to the specific level of dexterity he needs for his art. He doesn't say that. Not yet.
Finally, he gets the tiniest of smiles out of Dream. He's really lovely when he smiles.
(He's pretty when he doesn't smile, too. Hob would have to be blind not to notice it.)
"So," Hob says. "Let's look at the current range of motion, yeah?"
Dream tilts his head. "Did you not already do so?"
"For regular motion, yeah. But I want to see where it's impacting your drawing."
Dream draws his hand back, looking uncertain.
"Come on." Hob hands him a pen and paper. "Show me. I promise I know nothing about art. If it's not up to your usual standards, I'm not going to be able to tell."
Finally, Dream takes the pen, and starts sketching.
Hob watches, noting the way his hand trembles, his uneven grip on the pen. Notes how quickly he gets demoralized when it doesn't turn out the way he wants. Hob can make out what he's written and drawn, but it's clear from Dream's expression that it's far from how it's supposed to be.
"This is just a starting point," Hob reminds him. He has a feeling he's going to be doing a lot of those sorts of reminders with Dream; he does not seem to find optimism easy.
Then again, if someone who supposedly loved him had hurt him like that, Hob would probably find optimism a bit difficult, too.
Finally, Dream drops the pen, clearly frustrated. "I have tried to paint at home, too. It has not turned out any better. You should throw those away." He gestures to the sketches. "They are terrible."
"Nah, I'm gonna keep them," Hob says, and puts them in his folder. "For comparison later." It could also partially be because he finds Dream's drawings of cats, imperfect as they are, charming. Sue him.
"As you insist," Dream says.
Hob gives him documentation on some other exercises he can do at home. Tries to think through what might make him feel better with his art. It feels, somehow, so important to make him feel better.
"At home, go easy on trying to use a pen, or paintbrush or whatever, it's hard on your hand," he finally says. "But you probably want to get back to your art, so-- okay, don't make fun of me if this is stupid."
Dream just raises an eyebrow, waiting.
Maybe Hob should try to learn more about art before he gives advice. Nevertheless, he forges on. "Holding a pen is tough, but if you wanted to like, finger paint or something? That would probably be fine. Might be good for flexibility, even."
"Finger paint," Dream repeats, enunciating each word.
"I told you not to make fun of me if it was stupid."
Dream smiles, just a small thing, like he finds Hob ridiculous but in a charming way. Good enough, Hob figures.
"Very well," Dream says at last. "I will take your advice."
Dream simply walking out had felt like a distinct possibility, so Hob will take this as a win.
"Hey," he says later, catching Dream for a moment as he's checking him out. "It's going to get better, yeah? Trust me. Don't worry too hard, just give it time."
He really shouldn't make promises like that. But he can't seem to help it, with Dream.
Dream considers, then says. "I do trust you."
Hob finds that it means a lot. Now he's just going to have to earn it.

Imagine | Lost (Zoro)
Imagine getting lost with Zoro.
Word Count: 1,604
Warnings: hurt/comfort
~
(Gif is not mine!)
Tumblr media
Things haven't gone according to plan. Of course, that's the norm when you're traveling with Luffy and the rest of the Strawhats. Each crew member has their own quirks, but sometimes everyone manages to stay relatively on track.
Except for Zoro.
The green haired swordsman is notorious for his directional challenges. He even gets lost on his own ship, that's how hopeless his sense of direction is.
So, when everyone splits up to search for the current treasure of the day, you watch with a chuckle as Zoro immediately storms off in the wrong direction.
Huffing with laughter, you race to catch up with him. You trail beside him until he notices and raises a brow at you.
"Huh, what're you doing? We're supposed to split up."
"Oops," you grin at him, chuckling at his exasperated sigh.
He doesn't stop walking, "Go away."
"No."
"I'm serious.”
"Whatcha gonna do? Stick me with your big sword?" You hide your laugh behind your hand as his ears turn beet red.
"If you're gonna follow me, at least shut your mouth," he grumbles.
Smirking at your victory, you subtly start walking a bit closer to him, eyes roaming the area for any potential threats or treasures.
If he notices how close you are, he doesn't comment. He's also on the lookout for danger, hand resting idly on the hilt of his sword.
You've always admired how ready for a fight his is- never letting his guard down. Even when he's 'napping', he's still paying attention to his surroundings.
You've tried a few times to prank him when you thought he was fast asleep but failed every single time. He seems to be able to sense your proximity every time you get within five meters of him.
Even now, as you walk in close proximity, you can't help but admire him. His tall posture and alert eyes that peer  into the forest. His soft green hair slightly tousled from the wind.
"You're staring," his voice bears a tinge of smugness, making you whip your head the opposite way.
"Was not."
"Was too."
"I wasn't. I don't know why you'd even think that," you cross your arms and turn to look at him again. "Not like there's much to look at."
Your tone and smirk betray your lies, Zoro unable to stop from smirking along with your teasing.
"Really? Nothing at all?"
"Of course, I'd never ogle at you and your well trained muscles."
He smirks, turning away from you.
It's been like this since you were welcomed into the Strawhat Crew, easy banter between you and the swordsman. After you had proven your loyalty to Luffy that is. You believe Zoro values loyalty above all else.
Zoro had warmed up to you more than he had some of the others.
There'd been an unspoken tension between you: lingering glances and touches mingled with flirtatious words and playful gestures.
He'd let you drag him into drinking contests (which you always lost), nap beside him, and even join his workouts.
And you'd always tease him (backing off immediately when you noticed that he had enough), and steered him in the right direction when he got horribly lost.
Like right now.
"Zoro, I'm pretty sure we have to go left here," you point out.
"I knew that," he grumbles and alters his course. "I was just scouting the area."
"Uh-huh."
"I was!"
Laughing, you hop onto a large fallen tree that blocks your path. You turn to taunt Zoro a bit more, but you pause as a loud shot rings out.
Sudden pain shoots through your leg as blood splatters around you. You crumble down off the log, saved from a hard landing by strong arms.
Stunned, you look up into Zoro's eyes.
"You're alright," he says firmly as he sets you down against the tree. "It just got you in the leg."
Dumbly, you stare into his face, barely registering his words or his angered expression.
"You stay here and I'll be right back."
You nod, unable to do much more. As you watch him leave, you meekly call out to him, "Don't you dare get lost."
~
He didn't get lost, to your immense surprise.
By now, the shock has worn off and the pain has really kicked in. The bullet went straight through the meat of your leg, luckily not shattering bone. But you will need Chopper to get a better look and bandage it properly.
Right now you're using a strip of your shirt as a makeshift bandage and it's already soaked through. As Zoro does a second assessment.
"You're fine."
You glare at him, "I'm in pain."
"You'll live."
"Good thing, cause if I didn’t I'd haunt your ass!"
Shaking his head, he crouches in front of you, "Can you walk at least?"
You level a deadpan stare at him.
He sighs heavily, "Guess I'll just have to carry you then."
"No, no way."
"It's either that or you walk."
"You need your hands to fight in case there's more enemies," you reason. "Can't use your swords if you're carrying me."
"I'll just set you down."
"No, you'd drop me. And I don't want to be dropped right now," you fire back.
He stands up straight and glares down at you.
"What if you carry me on your shoulders?" You suggest. "That way your arms will be free and you can still fight."
"Fine," he agrees.
You wince as you stand on your uninjured leg, motioning for him to bend down so you can get your legs on his shoulders. He obliges and you precariously manage to seat yourself on his shoulders.
He stands without a problem, steadying you with one hand on your thigh.  Pain floods your sense for a second but it is quick to fade as you realize something.
You realize the extent of the compromising position you've put yourself in.
You're on top of Zoro's shoulders, hands on his head to steady yourself as he grips your thigh with his broad hand.
You flush with embarrassment. Beneath you, you can see the dusting of a blush across Zoro's ears and cheeks.
"Thank you for this," you say, unsure of what to do with your hands. The desire to run your fingers through his hair is immense and it takes all your will power to not act on it.
"I appreciate it, Zoro."
He grunts, "Just don't get injured again and we'll call it even."
"Hey, I didn't wanna be shot!"
"You made yourself an easy target!"
"I thought we were alone!"
"You should've known better!"
"I can't believe you're blaming me right now," you say in exasperating. "By the way, you're going north and the ship is to the south."
He grumbles beneath you but does switch his course to follow where you pointed. You wince every so often as he jostles you.
"Sorry," he says, very uncharacteristically.
Surprised, you lean over to stare into his face.
"For what?"
"I should've sensed that sniper but I was distracted," he grits his teeth in annoyance. "If I had seen him, you wouldn't have been hurt."
"Distracted?" You raise a brow, "You were distracted?"
"Don't-"
"Was it me that distracted you?" You grin, forgetting your pain. "Were you perhaps staring at me?"
"Forget I said anything."
"Too late! Admit it, you were checking me out."
His delightful blush is back in full force, "Was not! I was making sure you didn't fall."
You pat his cheek, "Well, you did catch me when I fell. And I guess I fell for you."
He stumbles slightly, making you laugh and cry out in pain at the same time.
"Watch your step Rorozo," you smack him lightly on the head.
"Don't call me that."
"Never," you run your hand over his hair, "I think you secretly like it."
He doesn't say anything and neither do you. Despite your injury, you are enjoying the moment of closeness between you and the swordsman.
It's moments like these that lighten your heart and bring a smile to your face.
His hand shifts over your thigh, "Maybe I do like it. This."
"Me?" You add softly, tracing patterns through his soft hair.
"Maybe."
"Well, maybe I do too," you bend down and press a kiss to his forehead. "Like you."
His hand tightens on your leg, his other hand coming up to caress your hair in a rare display of physical affection.
"Y'know, Sanji's gonna faint when he sees us like this," you chuckle, imagining his reaction.
"Maybe that stupid love-cook will finally leave you alone."
"Sanji? Stop fawning over a drop dead gorgeous woman? It's unlikely."
Zoro reads his head up to try and glare at you, making you wince as you jolt your injured leg.
"Don't worry Rorozo- I only have eyes for you."
At that confession, he stops in his tracks.
"That's it."
He lowers you to the ground, your confusion growing. Weren't you both on the same page just a second ago?
You're not on the ground for long though, as Zoro picks you up bridal-style and stares into your eyes.
"When you say things like that," he tsks, "I want to shut you up."
Before you can ask what he means, he presses his lips against yours, hard.
He breaks away far too soon, “That’s better.”
“If that’s how you’re gonna do it, you can shut me up anytime,” you grin, lean your head against him.
Wrapped up in his warm embrace, you’ve forgotten all about the pain in your leg…
Or the fact that Zoro is once again walking in the wrong direction.

Waking up to Sargent Barnes has to be the best thing in the world. Like yeah, your body kind of aches from the many positions he had you folded into the night before but the soft look on his face as he sleeps makes up for it.
Tumblr media
The way his skin looked under the soft morning glow or the way his hair lay in every which way across his pillow, you couldn't tell which was cuter.
Imagine running your hands over his soft cheek, his mouth letting a soft moan slip at the tender feeling. And oh lord, can you imagine his sleep-filled voice when he eventually wakes up to you petting his hair, that handsome smile and his “good morning”— it would be enough to kill you.
If he’s the first to wake up he’s peppering your skin with kisses, starting from the end of your shoulder up to behind your ear, revelling in the way you sleepily whine at the feeling of his chaste kisses. Those hands are another thing though, the way they’d run from your bare thighs, stopping only to squeeze your rear before pulling you nice and close to him with arms around your waist.
He’s so gentle in the morning, lacking any of that smugness he carries on a day-to-day basis. Everything he shows you is raw, unfiltered emotion— those deep blue eyes couldn’t hide a thing.
The light from the morning sun flits into the room, the warm beams of light decorating their bodies pulling a groan from Bucky as one shone straight into his eyes— just his luck.
He pulls you close to his naked chest, lips trailing up your neck to the top of your head, leaving soft kisses in their wake. One of his hands dances its way up your spine to card through your locks of hair.
You whine in frustration, the last thing you want to do was wake up, it would mean that the morning was here and you’d have to get up. Although neither of you had work to do you had promised Steve that you’d meet for milkshakes around noon and the poor man would be worried sick if neither of his friends showed up.
“G’morning” his sleep-laced voice mutters into your head, his eyes closing softly as your scent invades his senses. You huff, it was morning alright.
“Nooo” you shove your face into his soft chest, a chuckle bubbling from his throat at your actions.
“Come on sweetheart. Steve will be ready by now, you know what happened the last time we were late” he chuckled at the memory of Steve rattling his door in a panic only for you to open it half asleep, wearing Bucky’s sleep shirt. You’ll never forget the way Steve’s jaw dropped to the floor and his words died on his tongue as soon as he noticed the only thing on your body belonged to Bucky— along with a few little marks decorating your skin.
That was the first time he’d learned of Bucky and you being more than just friends. You certainly didn’t want him to catch you two in a more vulnerable position.
“What time is it anyway?” You grumbled, feeling Bucky’s body move to check the clock behind him, a sigh falling from his lips as his head flopped back onto the pillow.
“11.20”
“WHAT!” You jumped up at his words, there was no way you’d be ready in time.
“Bucky we gotta get up” You turned to the amused look of your boyfriend, that cheeky grin you’d love to wipe off his face.
You eventually made it to the milkshake bar, 10 minutes late. Steve’s eyes bored into you both as he slurped the ends of his milkshake, he knew what you two had been up to and he did not appreciate being made to wait because of it. Secretly though he was happy you two were finally together, he couldn't bear to listen to both of you constantly gushing over each other.

Softer Now (18+)
Ahh! You guys seem to be really enjoying these. I realized I was just writing the same Tav so there's that
Warnings: Soft smut, definite voyeurism, a decent amount of blood drinking, Soft!Astarion, pre-Act III, post-Act II
Tumblr media
“Aren’t you just a little jealous?” Karlach asked, joining Astarion near the stash of wine they found.
“Why would I be jealous of the walking encyclopedia?” He smirked, watching a certain elf interact with a certain wizard.
“Oh c’mon! He’s flirting with her and you two are a thing, right?”
“I find it rather charming, actually,” he took a swig of the awful wine in his hand.
The Tiefling looked from the vampire spawn to the pair looking over some old tome whose name no one else could pronounce. “Charming?”
“Let me tell you what I see,” he set the bottle down to face the barbarian. “To you and I, Gale is obviously flirting. In a very clumsy manner, but flirting all the same. Our fearless leader, however, has no idea. To her, he is as much of a friend as Wyll or Shadowheart. Yet, he keeps trying because he has no clue that she simply isn’t flirting back.”
“That doesn’t make you angry?”
“Of course not!” He laughed, “I can barely believe he managed to bed a goddess with how he flirts.”
“It does seem pretty out there, as far as stories go,” Karlach crossed her arms and continued to watch the pair.
“Anyways, I know there’s no competition.”
She smirked, “You do sound a teensy bit jealous.”
“My dear, I do not get jealous.” The more he thought about it, the more pause it gave him. Their resident wizard does try to hold her attention more often than he should. But Tav’s time was her own. He knew he had nothing to worry about. After everything they’ve been through, he couldn’t imagine her changing her mind at the last moment. Right?
Tav, on the other hand, was enjoying pouring over the old tome they had found. It gave some interesting insight into Illithids and their reasonings. Unfortunately, she was unable to read the language it was written in. She was thankful for Gale in that sense. Who knew he spoke Deep Speech? Granted it was written in Espruar but the script itself was odd. The wizard had helped her decipher a few pages about psionic energy and how they have mastered it. It truly was fascinating.
“This is nice,” Gale spoke from next to her. He was holding the dusty tome in his hands with the bard sitting near him, using her mage hand to scribble any notes she’s taken.
She looked up at him with wide eyes, “I suppose it is! I’m very happy we found this book.”
“It truly is remarkable,” he swallowed, “It’s also a nice excuse to spend more time together in the midst of all this madness.”
“Oh! I suppose it is nice to sit with everyone.” She didn’t fail to notice him scoot slightly closer. Just a hair between them now.
Gale closed the book and turned to look at the elf next to him. “I’m afraid I must ask you something.”
Something in Tav’s mind warned her to walk away. But she was still getting used to that voice, so she elected not to listen to it. This was Gale. This was her friend. “What’s on your mind?”
He grabbed her hands in his, “I have noticed you and Astarion getting rather close recently.”
Tav wasn’t sure how to react. She was already flustered by the sudden turn of the conversation. She was more than happy to keep speaking of the Illithid empire. “Where are you going with this, Gale?”
Gale’s eyes never left hers. It was like he was trying far too hard to bear into her soul and she simply…didn’t want him to. “I told myself it was casual, not a matter of the heart but…clearly I was wrong and it looks like I am the last to know. I know how close you two have gotten, I just thought you would show me the respect of telling me first.”
The Elf’s jaw dropped, “Tell you? Tell you what?”
“But you can tell me now. Who is it to be? Me or him?” The look in Gale’s eyes was nearly as serious as when he was told he’d have to become a bomb.
“What exactly am I choosing here?” Tav blinked, glancing down at the wizard’s hands that completely enveloped hers. It took her a moment before her brain caught up. “Oh! Oh, Gale! I had no idea you felt this strongly.”
A glimmer of a smile reached his face, “Well, perhaps I should have done more. Been more charming, more flattering, harder to reach…but I was only myself. Sometimes that just isn’t enough.” His face dropped looking at hers, “Whatever your decision is, I will respect it. But you must choose. You cannot have us both.”
Tav made a choked sound in the back of her throat before clearing it. “I don’t think this is a good idea. I think it’s for the best that we aren’t involved like that. I want to be with Astarion.”
“I see. I suppose he does have a certain charm about him, if you’re into that sort of thing.” He sighed, “I’ll just put my feelings to one side. I think that’s best for everyone. It’s certainly the best thing for me. I won’t leave, unless you want me to. Or until fate forces my hand, your friendship is all we have. And I will be happy to have it, eventually.”
Tav’s heart broke for the man. It must be quite painful to not have those feelings returned. For a moment, she thought about what she would do if Astarion ever stops feeling the things he says he feels for her. And the thought almost brought tears to her eyes. “For what it’s worth, I’m sorry,” she couldn’t hide the crack in her voice. But Gale was never going to be the cause of it.
“Worry not. I carry my regrets wherever I go and I am used to their weight. One more will not break my back.” He gripped her hands one final time before she pulled away.
She gave him a sad smile before walking over to where Karlach and Astarion stood. Grabbing the bottle from Astarion’s hands, she drank deep for a moment. They both glanced at each other before turning back towards the Elf. She handed the bottle back to him before smiling at Karlach, “Is there anything you have to admit to me? Any deep romantic feelings or attachment?”
Karlach laughed, “What? No, soldier!” She put her still warm hand on the much smaller elf’s shoulder. “You’re a dear friend. More than that, you’re family.”
Tav’s shoulders dropped, “Oh thank the Gods.” She turned to Astarion who was watching her with raised eyebrows, “Bed?”
The moment they were inside his tent, she buried her face in his chest with her arms wrapped so tightly around his waist. “Darling, what’s wrong? Did the mean mage say something he shouldn’t have?”
She didn’t want to pull far enough away to answer him. She didn’t want him to see her start to cry. She just shook her head and held him as close as she could. She wasn’t sure how to process these feelings. The vampire spawn just wrapped his arms around her trembling form.
“You don’t have to say anything, just nod your head. Did Gale hurt you in any way?” She could hear the growl in his voice. It sounded more dangerous than normal.
She pulled away with a deep inhale. She looked up at him with tears already streaming down her face. With a sniffle she whispered, “Gale admitted he had feelings for me, yes. But then I thought about how miserable life would be without you in it.”
Astarion froze, his body tensed. “So let me get this straight,” he swallowed, more nervous than he’s ever really been before. “You told Gale you’re not interested just to be with me? I do come with my complications, my love.”
She let out a breathy laugh, “I told Gale I’m not interested because I’m simply not interested.” Her hand reached up to stroke his cheek, “I just don’t ever want to imagine a life without you again. A world where you’re not with me. Because you’ve always been near, even if I didn’t know it.”
He remembers the night he told her about Cazador. The night he told her about the Szarr palace was also the same night she had told her about her tower. And how she could see the palace from her desk. It was true, they really have always been close in one way or another. “And you got that worked up because…?”
“I wouldn’t even know what I was missing,” she smiled at him, eyes still full of emotion. “You’ve been all of my firsts. First kiss, first night together. Hells, the first time I’ve held someone's hand was with you. This is all still very new to me. And the moment I thought about you not being with me I-” she let out a choked sob before gripping his shirt in her fists and burying her face in his chest once again.
For a moment, the vampire spawn didn’t react. It still takes him a moment to return affection but he managed to wrap his arms around the trembling bard. He swallowed before gently rubbing the small of her back. The thought of someone wanting him this badly was…daunting, to say the least. He knew if they had met before the nautiloid, he’d mark her as a victim. She was pretty and just naive enough to fall for him. Hells, he had even known her parents. Cazador loved having the city’s nobility over, but never her.
She was always the princess in the tower. Always there but never seen. Even Cazador had thought she was a mere rumor and nothing else.
For a while, he just held her while she cried. He wasn’t sure what else he could do besides hold her. Nothing he could say would comfort her. They weren’t even sure if they would survive this mess. So he pulled her closer. The rest of the night passed as they were wrapped in each other’s embrace. Soft, whispered words of a future sprinkled with hope. For the first time in his unlife, he had more than just hope.
The next couple of days passed uneventfully. They were only traveling, plain and simple. Onwards to Baldur’s Gate. Where all of their dooms or salvations lay. In the gloom of it all, Tav wanted some fun. She had gone to Shadowheart and pilfered some of her extra blankets with promises to replace them once they reached the city. As they set up camp yet again, she made her way towards the lake side. She laid out all of the blankets in a large square before finding the extra food she had squirreled away. And pulled out the best wine she could find. It was an obviously aged bottle still covered in a thick layer of dust, but the label looked fancy.  She truly knew nothing about wine so she prayed to whomever was listening that it wasn’t swill. She then adjusted her bustier in an awkward manner before smiling to herself and searching for the vampire spawn.
He wasn’t hard to find. No one heard what she whispered in his ear. But they certainly noticed the fond smile and raised eyebrows as she dragged him away from the camp. Astarion looked at the little picnic she had put together, his hand in hers before kissing the top of her head. “And what’s the special occasion, darling?”
She smiled up at him, unabashed emotion in her eyes with a grin on her face. She was truly divine in the moonlight. She shrugged, “I just wanted to do something nice for you. We reach Baldur’s Gate in a couple days and we have to hit the ground running soon. I just wanted to take a moment, just for us.” She picked up the bottle of wine she had found, “I hope it’s okay. I know it’s old but I don’t know if it’s good.”
He smiled and pulled her close. “Aren’t you just the sweetest little thing?”
The tips of her ears flushed as he placed a gentle kiss on her lips. And then they sat and talked and ate and drank. They spoke about the Gauntlet of Shar, about the monastery, about the Moonrise Towers. And the conversation drifted to their party as Tav slowly became more and more tipsy. She talked about Wyll and his obvious daddy issues. Shadowheart and her love for more adult literature. And Astarion was all too happy to sit and listen to her. It’s one of the things that drew him to her, after all. She could read people like they were a book she was all too happy to read.
As the evening turned into night, the pair ended up against a nearby rock. Tav sitting on his lap as he peppered her neck with kisses. And as Tav’s giggles turned into soft moans as his hands started to travel to her waist. “You should keep quiet, my sweet, we wouldn’t want to wake the entire camp up. Would we?” He whispered before nipping at the base of her neck.
“I-I think you’d like that far too much,” she managed to gasp out as he helped her rock her hips back and forth against him.
He chuckled against her neck, leaving trails of almost bites with his fangs. “What ever makes you say that?”
“Astarion!” She moaned, grabbing the back of his head as he finally sank his teeth into her neck. She gripped his curls in one hand and dug her nails into his shoulder with the other. Her hips moved on their own as he slowly drank from her. His arms wrapped around her waist as he held her up. Between the wine and him drinking from her, she felt lightheaded. But that made the friction between them feel all the more intense.
“You always taste just so perfect, my love.” He slowly released her neck before slamming his lips against hers. He knew he was being needy but he craved her. As his lips melded against hers his nimble fingers went to work on the knots of her bustier. It never took him long to get her out of her clothes and tonight was no exception.
She grabbed his hands before he could fully remove her bustier, cradling his hands in hers. “Are you sure you want to do this? We really don’t have to. I’m happy to just sit here with you.” Her voice was barely a whisper, something meant just for him.
He smiled at her before kissing her again, “Darling, if I didn’t wish to have you, I wouldn’t have you half dressed sitting on my lap.”
She smiled and let go of his hands and let him return to practically tearing off her clothing. He wasn’t satisfied until she was sat on his lap in nothing but her underwear. His face buried in her breasts, leaving small little nicks with his teeth as he made his way back up to her lips. Her hands gripped his shoulder as he snaked his hand down her body. He made sure to feel all the softness that was still on her body, never failing to trace her curves.
Tav was small but years in a tower had made her body gentle. Her hands were rough from her instruments, yes, and she did have a lot of skill with a blade. But she was in no way muscular. And Astarion enjoyed that more than he could say. He enjoyed being able to almost see the tremors in her thighs before he felt it. Gods, he needed her.
It only took him a moment to find her clit and draw slow, gentle circles around it. Never quite touching it directly. “Darling, you’re already shaking. Did you miss me that much?”
“Yes!” She cried into his ear. “Y-you’re teasing me.” Her head fell against his shoulder as her body trembled against him.
“Oh, I’d never do such a thing,” He smiled and buried his hand in her hair. “I simply want to take my time enjoying you.” The vampire spawn slowly filled her cunt with his fingers, his palm grinding against her clit.
She tried hard to keep quiet. Really she did. But when his fingers curled inside of her? She couldn’t help but cry out his name. How was he so patient? All she wanted was to have him inside her. He pumped his fingers in and out of her cunt so painfully slowly.
Now, Tav may have been too focused on the rogue’s hands to notice anything else. But Astarion wasn’t. He knew Halsin and Gale were keeping watch tonight. He also knew it was far too late for anyone else to be awake. Which is why his hands didn’t stop when he noticed the bushes across from them moved. It was so subtle that he almost missed it.
Almost.
Someone was watching them. And he had an inkling he knew exactly who it was. The thought made him grin against Tav’s bloodsoaked neck. He sped up his fingers, holding her as she writhed against him. “That’s it, love, don’t hold a single thing back.” She came with a cry of his name. She was still trembling as he made a show of licking his own fingers clean. “I do so enjoy how you taste, my love.” He didn’t whisper this time. He wanted the wizard in the bushes to hear.
With shaking hands she went to untie the knots on his trousers. He leaned back against the rock, letting her take his length in her hands. “M-may I?” Her neck was stained just as red as the flush on her cheeks. Her big blue eyes wide in anticipation.
“May you what?” His hand went to her throat and he felt her breath catch.
“M-may I ride you?” It really was endearing how she asked. Her voice was breathless and her chest was heaving. He had never been overly rough with her. But with a voyeur in the bushes? He was more than tempted to lay claim to the nearly virgin in his lap.
He pouted at her, “I’m not quite sure what you mean, darling.”
Her eyes went wider than before. “W-what?”
She was so innocent. So pure, he had never even heard her swear before. “What is it exactly that you would like to do?” He purred, his forehead meeting hers. “Don’t play coy with me now.”
She swallowed, the tips of her ears matching the rest of her face. “Astarion,” she whined.
“If you use your words, love, I’ll be happy to give you anything you want.”
She whined again when the grip around her throat tightened ever so slightly. “I-I want-” another swallow, “I want to ride your cock.”
He smiled, “See? Now was that so hard? You did so well,” he whispered against her lips.  She adjusted herself over him, still holding him in one hand while the other braced herself on his shoulder. His hand still held her throat, not quite squeezing just letting her know he was there. The bard lowered herself onto him. He groaned as she sank down. “Perfect.”
Her other hand flew up to his chest while she gripped his blouse so tightly that her knuckles were whiter than before. Her head spun while the wine loosened her tongue. “Gods, Astarion.”
“Use your words, darling,” he moaned against her neck, his eyes keeping an eye on the bush yet again. He wanted the wizard to see how good he could make her feel. He wanted him to see that he wasn’t even a thought on her mind. He wanted him to see that she wanted him and not Gale.
She sat for a moment, adjusting to his size before rocking her hips back and forth. Astarion’s hands flew to her hips to help guide her movements. “Feels so good,” she whimpered, still clutching at his blouse.
“That’s it, pet. You can take it, I know you can.” Her movements were entirely her own. She gradually went from rocking to bouncing. His body told him to throw his head back but he couldn’t tear his eyes away from her. Maybe now Gale would realize she was his. Maybe he had more of a possessive streak than he thought.
“Your hand, put it back!” She used his chest as leverage for her movements. He could feel her getting close and who was he to deny her? He instinctively put his hand back around her throat and squeezed. He had never felt her tighten around him harder. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his shoulder. He let her sit like that for a moment as she started to relax once again.
Whoever was in the bushes was gone now. Either too riled up to stay or too heartbroken to watch. Either way, Astarion found it satisfying. Satisfying enough to toss Tav on her back and put her ankles on his shoulder. It was something about knowing Tav not only trusted him but chose him, drove him wild. Far more than any lover he’s had in the past. Even through her half opened eyes and her mind filled with wine and pleasure, her eyes were still filled with that emotion. That feeling that he wouldn’t dare put words to yet.
She was his. And he was equally hers.
Her moans and whimpers filled the air but he felt so far away from her. Too far. She grabbed his hands and pulled him closer, lacing her hands with his. “Beautiful,” was all she could whisper before she clenched around him. This time, he wasn’t far behind her. They laid like that for a while. Him on top of her, her tracing small patterns on his back. The scars were a reminder of what awaited them in Baldur’s Gate. But it could wait for now. For now they had each other.
“Did you see who was in the bushes?”
He immediately met her eyes, “You knew?”
“I’m naive, not stupid.” She giggled, rolling over to her side.
“I believe we just gave the magic eater quite the eyeful.”
