Yesterday: wow you need to fast, you've just been like, eating normal, you're getting chubby. Look at you. You never had anything wrong you just fail at dieting

Today: woke up, felt like I was going to faint. Chills. Goosebumps. Cold sweats. Shakes. Fog. Dark edges. Muscle weakness. Pale. And I was like FUCK IT! Why would I ever listen to that side of my brain anyway. Why kill myself for the miserable side.

Ate a normal amount, somewhere between 1500-2000 I presume. Got to keep working on myself. Work out my brain not my body 😊

The first picture was yesterday. The second was today. I’ve realized I’ve been putting my self through hell because I have no self control when it comes to my emotions. I look at myself in the mirror and I’m not happy. I’m not happy with myself. I have a lot to work on. Even though I am back at school I’m still not happy with my some of my habits that I carried with me through this year so far. I’ve let myself down. I’m cutting alcohol for a while. I need to go MIA from a lot of people and places. I want to focus more on my school and my family. I want to be happy when I wake up and not feel like shit. Anyways I’m posting this because I want to be able to look back on my progress and make myself proud at the end.

An excellent question posed by @tasharaparker...I’d say yes & no. The awareness is out there, so yeah, there’s change in that regard. Where there isn’t change is the lack of urgency as it relates to the better treatment of our people by law enforcement. On a more personal note, it saddens me how the black community is still divided within our own corridors. There are some who will nitpick and look for any reason to spark discord, instead of taking a deep breath and saying, “you know, let me love up on this black man, woman, child more while I have them because tomorrow truly is not promised.” I’m over discord/quarreling/division and would rather separate than continue to involve myself in anything that perpetuates negativity or toxicity.
