saw a post the other day that said that psych survivors were overexaggerating and fearmongering for saying that people should be aware that having diagnoses on your record can be a danger + impede your life. and the more i think about it the more annoyed i am. because i think people need to know that there are exceptions to health privacy laws that can make having psych diagnoses and psych hospitalization history on your record risky depending on your circumstances. diagnoses follow you through your health interactions-you do not have to consent to have your information shared between providers. judicial proceedings are also an exception to the HIPAA privacy rule, so for things like custody battles, guardianship, getting orders of protection--the court can petition for medical records. there's so many other situations where even if they can't legally access your information without your authorization, people will require you to disclose diagnoses, records, previous hospitalizations and refuse to give you services/hire you/whatever unless you share that information with them. for example in many states anyone (a provider, a cop, friends and family) can disclose that you have certain psych diagnoses like bipolar to the DMV which then might require that you undergo drivers license review as frequently as every 3 months. my university is actively trying to kick me out right now because i had to disclose my medical record, psych diagnoses, and hospitalization history to them as a requirement to stay enrolled.

and i don't want to scare people or make people think that having a diagnosis on their records is automatically going to mean that it is weaponized against us. because i do know plenty of people who have never faced issues with their records. but i do expect that the community supports the people speaking out about the ways that we have been harmed by diagnoses creating barriers to accessing necessary parts of our life. instead of attacking us or saying that we're lying about things we are currently experiencing.

All while a fierce baby Biyoo chimes on with an ocassionaly 'Baat!']

personal theory on how the wttt verse works in terms of states

cw: i do mention some policy/politics as a referential thing because this is a satirical series about american politics so these issues appear within the series.

welcome to the table. gotta love it. so

i think states represent

their people

their policy

their environment

(there's more focus on the first two definitely however the last one is also relevant. i also like mentioning this because it allows for good fic content, frankly.)

and then the relevancy of this changes depending on whats going on. when a state reflects one of these very strongly and cannot represent another, then you get manifestations of that. alternatively, enough division within the state and you get things like new jersey (watch his intro episode) and texas (cmon gang we all know im talking about austin). you can also see regional differences if they're stark enough (nocal and socal).

because texas is, within canon, implied to have did and non healthy multiplicity ("i feel like i saw this on Moonknight"), my next point is that depending on how geniunely major a difference is and how poorly one of the things is being represented by the state, the more intrusive whatever is going on becomes. so while most of the gang is generally..... kind of... fine... texas, as a state that is a swing state but still making big discriminatory policy represents the policy well, and the rights and needs of the people less so, meaning that instead of the mostly functional/positive multiplicity seen throughout the series starts becoming less functional altogether.

the government also represents people, policy and a little bit of environment. it/he also represents the system and its needs/wants; such as explicitly benefitting from the industrial military complex over in america, or with the democratic party utilising big issues as part of a campaign (re, overturning roe v wade).

states also probably have some kind of magic to them; they're manifestations who are older than the states as they are part of the US, and we know that loui definitely got something going on there. mother nature tries to get florida and when she misses, both texas and louisiana are soaked from afar, again, representing environment, but also magic is an abstract property which is perfectly realistic in thsi universe. the government does the statehouse; which is a house which externally appears to be normal and holds over 50 rooms and somehow was not destroyed already. this is all to say, the idea of states being able to manifest shit is not beyond canon. go nuts. show nuts, even

Adopted by Willow and James Orton when he was two, she grows up a pretty normal girl in the normal household of girls do girl things and boys do boys things. She does ballroom dancing as a child and grows up with a passion for musical theatre and acting as well as medicine. He grows up wanting to be an actor until an unfortunate accident renders her hard of hearing/deaf [she uses the terms interchangably] which means that he now has hearing aids. He forgoes the desire to act to become a doctor instead, facianted by how people can just mend and heal like nothing bad happened.

At age thirteen her parents send her off to Blackpool, to an old friend William Regal who is going to teach Jay the art of wrestling as a way for her to get his extra energy out [plottwist its medicated/undiagnosed hyperactive ADHD] but Regal takes thsi little 13 year old from Chicago under his wings and trains him all the art of wrestling, Jay realises that she has a passon for death matches and hardcore wrestling, and shes damn fucking good at it.

Up on the main roster, Jay struggles because theyre not allowed to do anything apart from a few high flying moveis and years go by where Jay just isnt happy in her position, made worse by coles call up. So this is when Jericho starts slowly manpulating and selling Jay on the idea of joining the JAS and AEW and so she shows up with the rest of the JAS. They start treating Jay at first like a princess a gloruos little angel who can do their dirtywork until she starts to loose matches and the JAS start getting annoyed and agrivated and start bullying them - cue wrestlers weekly standing up for this little new kid who keeps being picked on. Jay ends up doing a diving headbutt during a amtch with Kris Stratlander and cracks their head on both a steel chair and a ring anvas- he's concussed instatnyl nad really doesnt remember how she got backstage [the best friends and kris helped him there and wheeler looked after them and took her back to the JAS lockerroom]

Jay has their therapy rabbit Hemlock [yes, like the poision] there and shes chatting away to the rabit when he starts to completely like zone our and dissocate. This is where he meets kenny someone who treats them and calms him down and whene Jay first registers that theres someone else in the room she panics instantly cuz the JAS trained her to not show emotions especially those who are like sad or guilty emotions. Jay states that she doesnt know who kenny is, because theybve only really kinda seen him around and not spoken to him and Kenny sticks his hand out and goes "Kenny omega, now you know me!" and when jay introsduces themselve as "Jayden Orton" Kenny smiles and "nice to meet ya jay"

and everything kinda just snaps int place. Jay! Nobody had ever called them Jay before, like the bird and everything nice and kind. And thats a boys name, Jay wouldnt mind being a boy. Jay

she likes it.

so yeah Kenny provides an entire gender crisis. Jay snaps out of dissocation and switches for a panic attack which kenny helps and explains that "oh my partner has these sometimes, he really doesnt like to be alone sometimes.are you going to be okay?- Oh! you two should meet youd really like him! he's really kind, and cute."

Kenny in intensily queer around Jay and considering that shes never really been exposed to outwardly queer people and openly gender-queer people her mind goes all scrambled in a good way.

Some other things happen,. jay leaves the JAS, spends a lot of time lurking in dark corrdiors meeting more firneds. She keeps finding kenny and acddientally meets hanger when kenny is like inches away from getting him on his knees. The two of them make instant friends. The go dancing and to bars and Jay assumes that because she likes the name Jay, he cant be a girl- so he has to be a boy.

Adam cole worms his way back into Jays life as a foe and then someone that their boyrioends are fucking and then cole realises that shes trans femme and Jay realises that hes not a trans man but infact genderqueer. Jay and coles trans journeys are linked and ill go more uinto that if anyone else really wants to hear about it.

In the end Jay starts dating wheeler, kenny and both adams. wheeler is only dating jay. Kenny and the adams are all dating one another. The polycule is all disgustingly in love and adore each other.

Regal scoops up his now grandchild [as well as granddaughter/grandson- regardless os how jay feels regal will always be their grandpa] as the newest member of the BCC where she can finally have a family thats forged in blood and ocmbat as well as kindness and love. Mox gives them his ADHD meds sometimes.

as dark as the recent time seems to have been, pirates know to celebrate whenever their adventures are a success and celebration is eventually taken from sharing it with everyone on deck underneath it, candles in odd shapes still lightening the captain's bed chambers. the air is filled by the scent of boze and herbs, the sound of glass clicking gently as golden liquid are poured again. it all feel so light that law decides tonight might be a good time for a somewhat agreed on gift. thsi time, without any mock or tease.

as he watches the other two men being focused on their conversation, he moves to pull out the corset he made with so much focus and passion for a particular redhead some time ago, by now having added a few smaller details just to add to the pirate's style further. he wrapped it in a black satin fabric, walking overcasually to take place to kid's right again, leading to the youngest being centered between the two man. inked fingers bend dark spikes back before adjusting the collar of his tanktop, casually dropping it on kid's chest.

"a gift, i've made it myself but consider it from the both of us. we think you would look quite good in it. no tease this time, maybe just a somewhat selfish desire of ours to encourage you to try out something different when it comes to your wardrobe here and then." his voice is smooth like honey, drink brought back to his lips as he gives killer a short knowing gaze before relaxing back into soft pillows of the seats.

It has a bit of weight to it, much heavier than Law's last... present. "Selfish desires, hmm?" Gold hues fix on the surgeon before flicking to his partner, who only grins. Both of them, is it? He's probably in trouble, as if the sticky-sweet tone of Law's voice wasn't proof enough. Pale fingers toy with the soft material, and he can feel two sets of eyes on him. Bastards. Licking his lips he unwraps the parcel, finding a well-crafted leather corset in his trademark colors, complete with curling flame motifs.

Killer leans against him, beard tickling against his neck. "We thought it'd look good on ya," he purrs, muscled arms slipping around him. "Law put quite a bit o' effort into it, as ya can see." Sapphire gaze meets gold as Killer smirks at the surgeon around his redhead. "I can help ya get into it, if ya want."

He doesn't actually need very much convincing for this particular accessory, in fact he fancies it, and it's only the way the two are staring at him that causes a faint heat to color his cheeks. He rises to his feet with a growl, extracting himself from Killer's arms. "Fine! I've been meaning to change things up a bit." He sheds the feathered coat, black vest, and waist wrap, allowing the blond to assist him with the new piece. It fits perfectly around his muscular torso, tight-fitting without restraining his movement while very much accenting his chest. Not something he has a problem with.

"Fits amazing. Thanks for your 'selfishness', dear heart." His gaze fixes on Law. Of course he'd have gotten his measurements somehow, he knows how much the surgeon enjoys studying him. "So what do you think?" He smirks, striking a pose. "This what you imagined?"

Online Chat Mod Dev Preview!

Legit NO IDEA what to call this but I wanted to share more stuff, here's a lot of videos of dev stuff I've been cooking for this mod, first of all... the chat in action!

Completely LOCAL functionality!

Every emote and sticker used gets printed in the chat, and even the system will figure out if it was directly meant for you and of course, for them too!

In this test, I was the only who had this mod in the lobby, so functionality wise its more like a QoL in thsi case, but I want to add more features to it, of course this video is super old (2 months ago) but not a lot has changed for this one in case anyone wondering.

Many pingables and even mod support for the mod!

I've been working for the last few months to implement some modding features, allowing people to directly alternate this mod through two cases, inserting references for script names YOU made and adding the localization for those references to be used, causing the mod to print the right message!

Speaking of localization, this mod should be translatable, allowing it to be user friendly for people who have language barriers, while keeping or/and alternate the formatting.

As an example here's the localization file containing references that are used in this mod:

This system allows it to be very easy to implement, I'll explain further in a seperate guide, but to make it short, no coding, and the stuff that requires coding, is at best, a few lines!!!!

And that way it was made also allows you to support all the languages (even more btw, there's ways to mod more language packages), making the mod able to be used by people with language barriers.

If you weren't aware, 3 years ago, a mod like this was released, with the same idea of online communication, sadly, the mod was removed because the moderation in it was impossible, and showed that we have some interesting people in our community that are downright bad apples, some of those were exposed for terrible behavior to theft.

This is my attempt in returning this mod, completely moderated under YOU, with YOU knowing fully what is happening, with YOU interacting through cute and wholesome emotes, and pinging point of interests for others to see.

This is the Online Chat Project, also known as Online Communication and SSPingSystem in the source code because I am bad with names.

Thank you all if you read through all of this, I'm still getting the grasp of Tumblr, but I am ENJOYING the amount of possibilities you can do, I think I will getting to like this a lot.

• Favourite thing about him:

I can't pinpoint an exact favourite (since theres too many) but like, his personality was what got me hooked to him. He's very confident, prideful even, but not to the point where he's incredibly selfish and does not care that much about those around him. In fact, he cares a lot for his friends, to the point where he worries when his fellow society members say they dont want him as their chief anymore, despite it being a joke (which is just shsbsjsjajJansjzj HE LOVES THEM SO MUCH JSJSNS). He was willing to bend the rules to allow hero partner to enter the society, as well as that talk to hero after what happened and giving them a purpose. HE LITERLLY KNOCKS OUT PARTNER TRYING TO HUG THEM BECAUSE HE WAS SO WORRIED THSI GUY IS HUS SO LOVABLE SO SYEBESJENDKSKDJD. Like, he genuinely loves and care for every society member and they follow him and JJISKSKSKSKSMSM habsjsjsjwjdjamsmssn.

• Least Favourite thing:

tbh, the only thing I can think of is how unserious he can be sometimes, being unaware of whats going on or cracking a small joke (though at least he has a plan when doing those things). Even then, its not that bad. It just kills the mood a little sometimes.

"Everything I do, I do it stylishly" says a lot about him. ngl I chose this line cuz its one of the few lines of dialouge I remember lmao

Jirachi and Dedenne. Jirachi and Amph give off 'partners in crime' energy to me, while dedenne is that one friend who keeps them in check

Mawile, its too adorable (eslecially sibce my hc is that they're both oblivious at first). I like to think that ampharos, the dashing wanderer he is, would switch between being causal and romantic.

Every society member has their own way dealing with ampharos navigation skills. Buizel ans bunnelby use water gun and tackle resoectively to push, archen flaps his wings to warn him, Swirlix (sometimes) sacrifice her food to lure him and Dedenne shocks him. The most succesful ones are usually Jirachi using his psychic powers (it takes a lot out of him) or mawils using her jaw (she gets embarassed doing it in public)

• Unpopular opinion

nor sure if I have an unpopular opinion, tbh. I guess the closest opinion would be his unserious nature, while not his best trait, adds a lot to his character and is fundamental to his personality. Its a flaw, just like his terrible navigation skills.

whatever au marque is basically me going hey what if i made marque cass from a different universe instead of cass’s secret older sister and she’s somehow got transported to earth prime and decides to kill the cain there bc she’s hinged this idea of happiness on killing cain and she’s getting fucking desperate :3 thsi allows her and cass to still be foils of each other and kind of a fun house mirror version of each other, one so deeply defined by compassion and the other by apathy.. and! i think it’d cause distress to cass bc she’s quite literally looking at a different version of herself who she believes she’s always close to becoming. cass’s arc here is basically realizing that she and marque are different and bc of that cass won’t be marque etc etc cass falling into compassion over and over again. still debating whether or not i want to give marque an arc bc honestly i think having her as a two dimensional figure here would be kinda fun and contrast nicely w cass..

I answered the last two asks for Story so now he's on the brain so i'm gonna continue with him. Man keeping this in Act 1 Story's kind of ... entranced by the dream visitor. he's hot. I made him very hot. Story's fully ready to let himself be seduced by him, except. there's no way he's consuming the tadpole, no way he's gonna do anything that goes against the goal of get thsi shit out of my brain right now. so for that reason he doesn't trust the dream visitor, and will not allow himself to be seduced.

in Act 1? I uh. can't really think of any fjdskl I got some good shit from Act 2 tho. but Act 1 hmmm probably. the Grymforge guardian. That was a fun fight, and also good for like. some meta because I needed Story, the squishiest of the party, to be the one to lure the guardian to the middle where the squashing thing is because he's the only one who would also be able to get out of the way safely, with his two bonus actions and cunning action: disengage. and Gale off to the side, anxiously waiting for him to get out of the way so he could activate the hammer to smash the guardian without killing the man he's in love with. it's all Very

My personal favorite from the tieflings is Alfira, and she is also dear to Story. enough so that I am headcanoning that after the events of the game Alfira and Story's sister, Song, may uh. kiss a little.

Hello! No worries, happy to explain. A lot of people over on the Jedi & Commander discord, where we have a lot of discussions on the AU Fest and a lot of people who also participated in the AU Fest, expressed interest in seeing the finalized list of AAAAALLLLLL the submitted prompts from the Fest.

2022 was only our second year and it was a big year! We were blown away. So many people responded and gave us such good food. And since people wanted to see all the prompts, I had promised (back in like October? November?) to put together a finalized list for everyone.

Fast forward a couple of months and I finally, er, got around to it.

The ACTUAL 2022 prompts, if that is what you were looking for, can be found here. The 2023 AU Fest will be back sometime in June/July for our regularly schedule shenanigans.

Edit: I just realized you also said you didn't know how our event works :o So, we are a community-based prompt fest. Which means every year, we open up a prompt form where everyone is allowed to submit as many prompts as they want as many times as they want, until the prompt form closes.

Then, we have prompt voting, where (again) you can vote as many times as you until voting closes. We revel in the chaos. And THEN, then, dear Demigod, we have prompt elimination from the voting round. Basically, a prompt death match. Anyone who was too close int he voting round, or prompts that are just on the cusp of making it. So, once we have our two voting rounds, we have a finalized list and we release it into the wild, provide content creators 12 weeks to create, and then give everyone a wonderful treat on Halloween! I hope that explains us. :)
