I have taken a few days off work. I realised the other day that I have not had a break since Christmas and suddenly it is August. We have been restructured and it has and is not fun at work these days. Thank goodness I work with a great bunch of people who never seem to lose their sense of humour. No wonder I am tired though, it's been tough. My work life balance is not good so I'm going to start making some improvements there. I have nothing planned for today as I was awake a lot last night. Hubby was flying today and he was pretty nervous after our long break from travel. It was great to get out in the fresh air for my walk this morning. I wanted to check out the flooding to see if I can run in the forest tomorrow. There is still a lot of water blocking tracks and trails where I usually run. We are expecting more rain with a red alert for the West Coast of the South Island so we shall see how that impacts on the east side of the island.
