Ella always had liked horses. From the high end near royalty when her parents were alive to being treated like a slave at home. Thereβs always been at least one horse at the house, and the one still around, she tends to on the daily. But here at the school, she finds herself tending to the horses on her free time. Itβs relaxing and sheβs not afraid to get herself dirty.
Sheβs currently brushing one of the horses when she looked over and found a familiar green about. βHello Sebek,β cinderella called out with a smile on her face. If heβs around, surely thereβs time for a little chat?

I'll check in on you in an hour. You'd better not have moved. ( ... what if achilles @ aqua, i think it'd be funny. )
meme.
Aqua pouted as Achilles closed the door behind him. This sucks! He was supposed to be taken to reunite with his mom, but he was being forced to sleep and wait longer. He sits up the second the other's footsteps disappear from behind the door, hugging his knees and sighing to himself.
And then he started to plot a way to escape and go searching on his own.
Maybe go out the window? He climbed out of bed, went over to the windowsill, and reached up..... success! Though there's a crash soon after, from the vase nearby that he'd accidentally kicked off on his way up. Oopsy! He curses to himself and wonders when Achilles is going to find out about it.

"Maman, tell me about how you met Papa again?" (Cinderella)
Ella paused in her folding laundry. She didnβt have to anymore, sheβs told, but old habits die hard. Plus it keeps her busy. Something she needs to do. Being busy. Never had cinderella been good at being idle. Not even while asleep.
βHow I met your father..?β Thereβs a fond look as she reminisced of the ball. Her one night of freedom. The only thing sheβs ever wanted since her father died: freedom. And by a miracle sheβs gotten it. βOh, it was so wonderful. There was a ball, and I arrived in the most beautiful gown possible. And there was the prince: of course I didnβt know it was him. But we danced the whole night..β A soft sigh left her as she smiled at her daughter. βIt was quite romantic, too. But he chased after me. I had to leave when the clock struck twelve.β

Pairing: Yandere!Chrollo x Reader
SFW
Word Count: 721
Warnings: Kidnapped reader, Captive reader, Forced relationship
Out of all the holiday seasons that came and went during the year, this one was your favourite by far.
Not for the festivities or the brash, obnoxious yet oddly endearing holiday traditions that made their way over from the Western world. Those certainly had their place, yes, but you loved it for an entirely different reason.
The lights.
Colours of every shade, limited only by imagination, were strung up on buildings all across the city - wrapped around the rails of balconies and other anchor points like luminescent vines. Trees that lined the streets were specifically decorated with white and blue, mimicking the ice and snow around them and making the scene seem just that much brighter.
It made it all seem so ethereal. How enchanting such a simple thing could make a night otherwise illuminated only by lights belonging to office buildings and private homes. It was almost enough to make you forget why you had the view you did. Who you shared it with.
You didnβt want to go back inside the hotel room yet. Even with some protection from the balcony, the cold bit at your skin making gooseflesh pepper your skin. Your toes had gone numb ages ago, but you couldnβt yet tear yourself away.
In the distance, someone was playing carols over a loudspeaker. The sound made your lips quirk up ever so slightly and you closed your eyes to take it in for a moment. While classical music was all but ruined for you by this point, there was something about the orchestral version of songs that still managed to make you feel⦠home. Nostalgia stirring in your chest for something that would never be the same again. A place that never existed anymore.
Such a moment was interrupted by warmth wrapping itself around you from behind, hands encircling your waist and reminding you just how thin your nightgown really was.
Your silent wish that he wouldnβt speak and simply look at the view with you was quickly crushed when you felt his hot breath right next to your ear.
βTwas noontide of summer,β Chrollo began, βand mid-time of night; and stars, in their orbits, shone pale βore the night.β
βMust you always do that?β You asked, cutting his recitation off before he could complete it fully. A beat of silence followed, one long enough that the temptation to reopen your eyes to look at him pulled at your subconscious, but you pushed it back.
You felt one of his hands leave your waist in favor of your arm, the goosebumps disappearing under the warmth of his palm. Part of you wondered if he delighted in the little ways your body betrayed you when it came to him. What he provided.
βDo what, my dear?β
βMake it worse.β
There was another beat of silence as Chrolloβs fingers tightened around your bicep in a light squeeze. You opened your eyes that time, the lights coming back into view, but this time it felt different.
Tainted.
He squeezed your arm again.
βYouβre cold. Come back in, there are plenty of blankets for you.β
A frown threatened to tug at your lips, but you hid it well. At least you thought you did. If there was one bright side to being the object of Chrolloβs affection, it was learning the skill of hiding what you truly felt.
Not like it mattered much, anyway.
βDo I have to?β
Another squeeze on your arm. Firmer. Non-negotiable.
βYouβll catch cold.β
A surprising reason, you thought. With how much he lingered and leered, you figured heβd delight in any occasion that would result in you depending upon and relying on him more.
Attempting to think about any other reason as to why he wouldnβt want for something like that only served to give you a headache, so you nodded once - turning your body to face his.
βExcellent.β You could hear the pleasantry in his tone hidden underneath his otherwise deadpan expression. The hand on your arm slid off to reopen the balcony door while the other moved to the small of your back, guiding you back inside.
The warmth from the room that greeted you was ironic in a way. Most defined the winter night air as biting. Harsh, even.
Yet the supposed reprieve of the indoors had never felt less welcoming.

evermore - jack hughes
in which, raven baltimore and jack hughes were meant to be high school sweethearts. but after jack was drafted, the two didnβt work out.
raven had finally did it. she had gotten the job she had wanted to get since she was thirteen. the only downside was that she had to move away from her family and all the memories she had created back home and move to the big city.
new york had always where she pictured herself living when she was older, and she had finally made it.
releasing a long sigh, raven dropped the final box she had to unpack onto the bed of the her new apartment. picking at the tape until she finally got it, she unwrapped the box. but, when she finally did, she wished she hadnβt.
sitting on top of a pile of old photographs was a photo of her and the only boy she had ever lived staring right back at her. the two were smiling into the camera, as they sat in the front seat of his car.
βjack, stop!β raven laughed as she pushed his head away from her neck. the two were sitting in an empty parking lot after their weekly ice cream date. she was trying to take a photo to remember the night, but jack had other plans.
the boy groaned before looking into the phone screen with a dead panned face. βsmile, weirdo.β raven rolled her eyes.
βi saw that.β jack scolded, which brought a smile to his girlfriends face. βthen smile.β
the boy sighed loudly before presenting a big smile. raven smiled in content before grabbing his face with her hand and bringing it closer with her face. after taking a few photos, jack grabbed the phone out of his girlfriends hand and threw it in the back seat.
βjack hughes.β she scolded, reaching over to the back seat to grab her phone again. raven released a squeal when jack grabbed her waist and threw her into the back seat, climbing in after her.
raven couldnβt help but smile sadly at the photo as she grabbed a small pile of photos and sat on the edge of her bed. going through them, the next one she stumbled upon was the day of his draft. she was sat next to him, in a long black dress that he said he lived in her. ellen had taken the photo, and quinn and luke had sat on either side of them making fun of how forced jacks smile looked.
he had always hated taking photos.
βjack, smile!β ellen scolded his middle child. raven nudged the boy in the stomach with her elbow, a smile still on her face. jack huffed before smoking forcefully.
quinn and luke snickered from either sides of the happy couple, poking fun at jack in the way that all brothers do.
βokay mom, thatβs enough.β jack told his mum, grabbing his phone out of her hands and sliding it into his pocket. βno, no. quinn and luke, get in there.β ellen demanded the boys before taking out her own phone.
jack rolled his eyes as his two brothers squished into the photo. luke slyly wrapped his arm around his brothers girlfriend, producing a laugh from the girl. jack glared at his brother, hitting his arm away from raven.
a couple more photos were taken before ellen smiled in content and walked away whilst looking at the photographs. luke switched places with jack so neither of the boys were third wheeling on either side of the couple.
raven watched intently as jacks leg bounced up and down nervously. the girl reached over and grabbed his hand, placing a small kiss on the back of it before she held it in her own lap.
βare you okay?β she whispered to the boy, who squeezed her hand in affirmation. βyouβre gonna do it jack, trust me on this one.β
jack smiled at raven as if she hung the moon and the stars before leaning across his seat and placing a kiss on her lips. raven smiled into the kiss and she placed her hand on the back of his neck.
gags erupted from beside her, causing the two to look over at the other hughes siblings. quinn gagged loudly whilst luke coughed.
jack rolled his eyes at his brothers bestie slumping in his seat.
raven had decided after two hours of reminiscing on her failed relationship that she had had enough, and opted to grabbing a cup of coffee.
what she hadnβt expected was both jack and luke hughes to be walking down the street, with cups of coffees of their own.
βshit.β raven cursed as she frantically looked around the almost empty street to find somewhere she could hide. inching backwards, she kept her eyes on the two boys to make sure they werenβt looking at her. that was, until, her foot gave out and she stumbled backwards into a bush.
βraven?β she couldβve died right then and there, causing when she looked up, she saw the two youngest hughes brothers looking down at her.
βheyyyy, guys. fancy seeing you here?β she squeaked out. luke laughed at the girl before jack bent down to pull her back up to her feet.
the three stood an awkward silence, before jack cleared his throat and glared at his brother. luke, getting the hint, rolled his eyes and gave raven a quick hug before walking back down the street.
raven watched the boy leave, a small smile on her face before redirecting her attention to her ex boyfriend, who was looking at her the way he always had. her heart flipped and her face heated.
βhi.β she spoke softly, smiling. βhey.β
her eyes fleeted down to her feet.
βdid you wanna grab some coffee?β jack asked the girl. her eyebrows raised before scrunching in confusion. βwhat about the coffee you already have?β
jack looked down his coffee cup, scolding himself for getting one already. if he had known he would be running into the girl he hadnβt stopped thinking about since they called it off from long distance, he would have never gotten his daily latte form the coffee shop down the road.
looking around, he quickly threw the coffee cup in the closest bin before turning back to face raven. βwhat coffee?β
raven laughed loudly. βcβmon, you dork.β
