I just learned RTX cards use AI to literally add pixels to make images and games smoother and sharper and now I don't even want one.

I bought the game cuz I like games and seeing them progress and watching graphics improve over time. We've come a long way since Pong, ykwim? Why the fuck are you photoshopping the game as I play, why is that even an option. I want to see what the animators and artists created, not how your wack graphics card thought it needed to be edited.

It's like how cameras can't take good pictures of PoC anymore either cuz they're made with algorithms that cater to lighter skin. I can't even take pictures of the wildfire smoke correctly because it's Already color corrected the photos.

Not to be a boomer but I'm one more AI breach from just going completely analog for the rest of my fucking life.

confession time no one asked for:

back in july 2021, i wasn't sure if i wanted to start watching young royals because it's a little odd thing of mine maybe, but i am not very fond of getting engaged in new things and of change in general lol anyway.

first episodes in, i fell in love with the cinematography first and foremost. i adored how wilhelm broke the fourth wall. i began to warm up with the (beautiful) story, the characters, the plot, the vibes, the music.

but nothing, i say nothing, prepared me for simon calling his elitist snobbish classmates out on their bullshit causing me to unironically begin applauding in the middle of my room whilst whisper-shouting:

"i knew that kid was something special the moment he entered the frame. bravo, new fictional best friend."

it was at this moment that i realised this show and i were going to have a long history together.

and i was so right.

After the events of ToA, when Apollo was visiting Meg in the summer (or was it mid-May), beside all the gardening and ice cream eating and evenings of watching scary movies, and just spending time together (they may have stolen some apples from the neighbours apple trees; or some cherries. Just maybe), they decided - Meg forced - to bake some cupcakes, because they were extremely bored.

Knowing the fact of then having the recipe, ingredients and absolutely zero skill in baking, the result was fairly great, even if it was burned a little and had too much or not enough of filling in them.

Then, one of them suggested putting some icing powder onto the cupcakes. They had a little bickering because "it is too sweet I am telling you—" .

After fifteen minutes of mastering the communication skills, it was put onto them.

The thing is, that they put the wrong powder and the cupcakes were covered in baking soda.

(It was the most delicious cupcakes both of them ever had.)
