Lexa was standing behind the counter of her small shop, it had been aquiet morning, but the mornings usually were pretty quiet so she hadfigured she might as well go through some emails and inventory. Thetinkling of the bell above the door caught her attention and sheglanced over to see a young blonde woman, possibly a year or twoyounger than herself, nervously looking around the interior of thestore.

Lexa had to fight to keep the small smile off her face, the blonde’sreaction was quite common for people who didn’t tend to walk intoestablishments such as hers. They would tend to look around to see ifanyone else was in there, before walking over to whichever sectioninterested them.

A few times since she had opened the store Lexa had actually had toask people to leave, high school kids sometimes tried to pretend thatthey were older than they actually were, the giggling would usuallygive it away if their faces didn’t. There was a sign on the doorsaying that you had to be over the age of 18 to go inside. Lexa was amassive advocate for sex education in schools, but that didn’t meanshe thought that 14 year olds should be walking into sex shops.

She turned her attention back to the screen in front of her, surethat if the blonde wanted any kind of help she would ask.

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t laugh…” Lexa said, shaking her headslightly.

The laughter had obviously broken the ice though as the blondestarted to look a little more comfortable.

“I honestly don’t even know how I ended up here,” she said,shaking her head, “I’m Clarke, by the way.”

“Lexa,” Lexa replied, holding out her hand, which the blondeshook, “owner of this small establishment.”

“You own this place?” Clarke asked, her brow furrowed a little.

“I do,” Lexa said with a nod, “does that surprise you?”

“Kind of, you don’t seem like this is the kind of place you’down…” Clarke said, “not that there’s a particular type ofperson that would own a business like this, I’m just going to shutup now.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Lexa said with a small laugh, “you’dbe surprised at just how many times I’ve heard that, mostly from myparents.”

The smile on Lexa’s lips grew as that made Clarke laugh.

“So,” Lexa said, “do you need any help, you were looking alittle… terrified.”

“Little bit,” Clarke said with a nod, “it’s been a while, Ihaven’t owned anything like this since college, I have no idea whatI’m looking for.”

“Okay, let’s start with the easier questions first,” Lexa saidwith a soft smile, “are you interested in something for stimulationor penetration?”
