DAY 18: a song perfect for workout
🎤 「Move Your Body Till You Die!」 - Rio Mason Busujima

No, you don't understand. You know, I workout regularly, mostly treadmills and abdominals, and in the summer I add to that a nice brisk walk along the coastline. So it's pretty obvious that I listen to music during my exercises. While I run on the treadmill the playlist goes on automatic but 3 Seconds killer, Ikebukuro West Game Park and BLACK OR WHITE are particularly stimulating. But I guarantee that THIS is the song for workout. There's no story. You guys have no idea how fucking well it works. Last summer I happened to listen to it during my brisk walks…and I swear that trying to keep up the pace to the beat of the song was something EXTENUING. Not to mention that as the speed increased, I practically had my calves on fire. And I say it's perfect because Rio incites you to move and do your best! Exactly like the personal trainers in the video tutorials I follow to train! This makes everything so real! And then it's brilliant that the other HOMIEs were also involved, with their complaining and labored breathing LOL (sorry not sorry, Doppo). It really makes the idea that you're training as a group with them!

Could you please share with us one or two of your favorite workout music tracks? or maybe even a playlist? I'm kinda curious, since you look fit af
Ah thank yah! 🙌 Tbh I haven't sorted a workout playlist! I need to, it's just so daunting, I "like" any song I enjoy, so it's a big ol'mess of genres in there.
Last couple songs I ran to were, vvv

I have to say, the two best songs for a workout playlist are I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan and Dead Girl Walking from Heathers the musical. Especially when Dead Girl Walking plays at the end of the workout

I wear headphones most of the time while walking or running. What I realized today is that when I walk past people, I turn down my music. No, it’s not because I want to chat with them. It’s because I’m a little embarrassed about my playlist and I don’t want anyone hearing it. 😂 Why do I even care? What the heck is wrong with me? Wait, don’t answer that. lol. Man, I still have a lot of work to do in letting go what people think of me.
I’ve spent a lot of years trying to get people to like me. Attempting to act a certain way so I’d be accepted. It eventually backfired, anyway. I’ve always been socially weird and that awkwardness would eventually surface. I have some really cringy moments I’d rather forget. Hopefully, I will one day. (The cancer treatments should help with that. lol.)
When I was younger, I would turn into a chameleon and change my personality to whomever I was with. Being rejected was the absolute worst. Especially after trying so hard. Being dropped as an adult doesn’t feel good either but you learn to accept it and move on. Can’t say it doesn’t hurt, though. Now, I do my best to just be me and if no one likes it, then I’ll go hide in a closet and cry. No, no… I won’t do that. I’ll just find new people that do like me and my weirdness. 😉
Anyway, I’m still a work in progress …and I will be forever. So without further ado, here’s the first 10 songs of my playlist. 😂

Someone asked me (and I can’t remember who it was) if I had a top 10 list of workout songs. For 10 days I will post my favorite songs to work out to.
This song, “Cardio,” is not a song I work out to but it is set as my alarm to “move and get my ass to the gym.”
