I just noticed, since Jakks Pacific seems to have brought back the World of Nintendo figures [as opposed to just World of Mario] that 2/3 of the characters since then have been female

And it reminded me of a YouTube guy way back when who wished that the line included more female characters and I thought, this was actually one of the better action figure lines about that [which maybe wasn’t saying much].  I heard Mattel had an Avatar line [before I watched the show] which had none

Anyway, it seems there’s both World of Mario and World of Nintendo now, so that’s pretty cool.  I wonder who’s up next

Two more figures I brought down recently.

Dusting the shadow boxes behind the TV is a tricky task, so I might as well showcase some of the figures up there while I have them.

Sofubi Mario is made from a robust vinyl, with razor sharp paint applications. This is the US re-release by Jakks Pacific - but the original figures were produced by Banpresto and sold in poly-bags.

Capchara Ex-Aid is from a gashapon machine. The body is actually stored inside the head, which acts as the capsule for the vending machine. For such a simple toy, the design is just way too much fun. Those crazy proportions look great with Ex-Aid's color scheme. We found this gashapon machine out in the wild, and this figure was definitely the highlight of the lot.
