The Star (Tarot Card)
I'm participating at a little Tarot Card Challenge/prompt on a discord server. We get 3 tarot cards randomly and I decided to draw my Altmer OC Ilegir as the Star because I think its very fitting
I'm already excited to draw the other two ;u;

Number 12 for the micro story? I'd like to hear about Firien but you can write about whomever you'd prefer.
Hello again friend! I will gladly ramble on about Firien until the day I die, so donât worry at all lol
12. Candles
Firien lazily passed her fingers through the flickering flame, causing it to lean in whichever direction she went. It, along with its three companions in the candelabra, was the only source of light in the room, and Firien had been playing with it for quite some time as she switched her gaze between the candlelight and the sleeping city of Solitude and the sea beyond.
She paused with her finger held steady in the fire, but it did not blister nor burn her.
âIt really doesnât hurt?â Farkas asked from where he sat, watching her, nearly invisible in the dark. A hint of awe colored his voice as always whenever he watched her interact with fire, and when she glanced in his direction, she could see the candlelight reflected in his eyes.
âNo,â said Firien softly, her voice just above a whisper. She cautiously lifted the candle from its taper holder and cupped her hand around the flame. She approached Farkas, her gaze fixed on his. âIt never does. It used to, when I was younger. But ever since I absorbed that first dragon soul...â
She trailed off into silence and opened her hand, revealing the flame. The warm glow illuminated her palm, and now she could see more of Farkasâ features as the candle lit up his face and eyes. But he wasnât looking at the flame, no... Farkas, as usual, was looking directly at her.
âIt would be dangerous,â she continued in the same tone, âbut to me, itâs not. Itâs warm and gentle. It feels comfortable and familiar to me.â
Farkas, without tearing his gaze from her, reached his own hand out and held it over the flame... too close. She watched, bewildered, as his skin erupted, angry and red. He pulled it away, deliberately slow, and held up his fresh wound for her to see. With the beast blood long gone, it did not heal immediately as it would have in the past. Instead, it remained visible, a future scar to join with the rest that riddled his body.
âBut it still hurts others,â he said simply. Then after a moment, he smiled, as if suddenly amused by a secret joke. âYou are my candle.â
Firien frowned, confused.
âYou will hurt others if they arenât careful,â he explained. âBut to me, youâre warm and gentle, comfortable and familiar. You are my candle.â
Firien immediately flushed, and she busied herself by turning away from him and returning the candle to its home with the others. When she turned around, she was somewhat surprised to see Farkas standing before her, having crossed the room in a few, swift and silent steps. He gripped her chin in his freshly injured hand and brought his lips to hers.
It was slow, yet brief, and Firien found herself missing him the moment he pulled away from her. Her hands clutched at empty air for a moment, searching for him, before she drew them back to her sternum, her cheeks hot.
âStupid candle,â she mumbled, embarrassed, but Farkas only chuckled in response.

So I have read several people complaining that they can't be expected to know the "unwritten rules" of fandom. So here's what I wish people knew:
Fanfiction is fiction.
Fictional people are not real.
Fictional people do not have rights.
Fictional people cannot be abused.
Reading or writing about something does not mean the desire to do or support it in the real world.
If I find art upsetting/triggering/disgusting/outraging/unpleasant/squicky/distressing/offensive, it is on me not to read it, not the creators and hosts to remove it.
Curate your own experience. The back buttons exist for a reason.
If you don't trust yourself to do that, get someone you trust to do it for you.
Fandom is an adult space. Adults create and own and host fandom spaces. If minors want to participate, then the onus is on them and their parents/guardians/trusted adults to ensure they participate appropriately, not on strange adults to stop being adults.
You often don't know the assault status or mental health status or neurotype or race or nationality or religion or gender or sexuality or age of a creator or consumer, and they do not have to disclose to you to justify their fantasy.
AO3 is not a safe space. It is not intended to be a safe space. Proceed accordingly.
Just because you don't like something or find it offensive doesn't mean it is a "problem" that "has to be dealt with".
Most characters in anime are not white.
There is no onus on you to reblog or share anything.
Everyone makes mistakes in fandom and is less than their best self sometimes.
Persistent pseudonyms encourage long term relationships.
Ship wars are stupid.
Someone else enjoying things does not impact on your own enjoyment of other things.
Tagging and warning is a courtesy, not a requirement. Assume any fic might contain untagged content.
Rating is an imprecise art, not a science.
Don't hassle IP creators.
Most people who are in fandom are hoping to make connections based on a shared passion.
Trying to profit from transformative fanworks puts us all at risk.
No one is obligated to share your head canon or fanon.
Being kind rarely fails to pay off.
It is okay to block and remove people who make your experience unpleasant. You don't have to placate them. (Learn from my mistakes).
Britpicking is a good thing.
You don't have to justify why you like a canon/pairing/trope/kink. Sometimes navel gazing is fun, but you don't have an obligation to explain yourself, especially to strangers. I share the overwhelming desire to refute an unfair accusation, but the people accusing you are rarely doing so in good faith, so you're batting a losing wicket.
I'm not your Mum. (Well, okay, a very few of you can call me Mum or Mom, but if you are one of them you already know who you are â¤ď¸)
If you aren't mature enough to take responsibility for your online experiences, you aren't mature enough to be in fandom spaces.
