Hi sorry for the pretty long unannounced absence y'all, things have been pretty hectic here, so, I've got a little update for you and a little peak behind the curtain.
I've been running this blog since 2018, nearly five years now. I'm actually starting my senior year of undergrad next year. As you've probably noticed I've had a hard time updating lately, life has gotten a bit more busy.
I still really love this project but I think I'm going to put it on hold for the time being. This blog isn't going anywhere, it will still be up as an archive, and as an easy way to reach me, and I may still answer things on occasion when I get the chance. I would like to come back to it in the future, but for the time being I'd like to dedicate my time to some other projects.
If anyone who follows me here is interested in my future writing projects, I'll try to keep you all updated. Don't be strangers. We'll see you around.

(SLP) hello, hello, hello, hello! this here is a piece of paper, valid for one train trip every sixty years, from whichever station to whichever station you desire! I hear it was last used in a famous break-up, but that might be just apocryphal.
~Okay okay okay, is this one song lyrics? Am I on the right track?~

Hello again! I've been traveling for a while, and I thought I'd give you something I no longer had use for. Here, a pomegranate-shaped wrought silver lamp. Whoever lights it and looks through the flame will be able to see what around them is of their world. Caused me quite a few singed eyebrows, but it certainly helped me find a lot of intriguing things!

Ah, the next best thing to goblin spit. (Stings like a motherfucker but it gets the job done.) In return a book of names (am I right in remembering you were on the hunt for one a while back?) It has the proper names of a lot of things but, very little indication of what they're the proper names of. Just a whole bunch of names written out in an arbitrary order. Maybe one of them is yours?

(SLP) Here's something called a tone dial. All I know about what it does is that it makes dial tones whenever and however you tell it to.
~ I don't know why you'd want that but actually I guess you wouldn't if you're giving it to us. In exchange, a camera that only takes photos of black and white things. It doesn't take photos in black and white, it just automatically edits anything that isn't one of those colors out of the photo. ~

crystal that shines red light on anything fake, and green light on anything real. -- JAXELS
~ How about... Uh... Here, this one. It's a small plastic figurine, like, arcade prize style, very small and unclear what it's actually supposed to be but actually, every time you look at it, it is a figure of a different thing. It's most obvious when it changes colors because it is still pretty amorphous. ~

~The Curator said it's my job to handle some of the regulars now so hi Xels. And no. We don't have that. Consider approaching your local upside-down farmers market instead. ~

My duck got into my pixie dust stash and layed three eggs. One is painted in pastel stripe and is growing fuzzy baby bunny ears, one glitters with discarded craft room glitter, and one has been defaced with ever changing graffiti that hurts my eyes when I look at it.
I can handle the glitter egg, but do you have room for the other two?
I am... a mite concerned about what might potentially hatch out of either of these eggs, assuming that they will hatch anything, but provided they are just eggs I can probably take them off of your hands. In return, what looks like a large wardrobe that has been shrunken down to be just a foot or so tall. Anything that's placed inside of it will come out of it twice, but it has to be small enough to fit and close the doors.

(SLP) SAL-u-TATIONS! And no, actually, that wasn't a homestuck reference, before you ask. Today, I've got here a leather sickle from a scarlet batallion. You can use it to cut herbs much better than you should; which is to say, about as well as any other sharp edge.
No I know exactly what that is and isn't a reference to... the proper part of this trade on the other hand...

(SLP) I might have done, but remembrance I dost not. Anyways, hallo! This here's a memory of an injury you don't have. I don't recommend touching it to skin too often, it doesn't leave scars.
Reverse phantom limbs. You know I know you don't believe in luck but sometimes you are still surprisingly lucky. In return a basket woven from grass, it leaks like hell but any water drunken from it will taste wonderful.

we'd like to make a trade, preferably for a charm that makes noticing us harder. in return, we offer a box of beads and wires, each partitioned to not touch each other. we're not quite sure what they do, we've just been warned to not let them touch too often. however, the corner beads, when strung together, glow brightly enough to hurt my eyes.
In return, a set of cookie cutters, any food made with them will have a quality about it that is difficult to keep one's attention on or remember any specific details about, and anyone who eats them will maintain a similar effect for as long as the food is in their body. Typically this will dissuade attention but fair warning occasionally it has the opposite effect. Some people can be unpredictable.

Hello all, sorry for the long absence. It's been a bit of a hectic time here. (A very frustrating artifact got out of storage. More on that later.) Things should be back up and running in the next day or so. In the meantime, if you see any strange mushrooms in the area don't touch them. I think I got it all but you can never really be sure.

it depends on the mood, but i hunt of a good conversation, a hint, a meal, or a thought when the moment strikes. i hunt. it is what i do. i don鈥檛 go around asking why you curate, do i, curator? i found an old penny in storage, it鈥檚 worth at least two thoughts. -puck
No I suppose you don't but if you've got some time and you're hunting for stories I could answer it. I'll keep the rest of that in mind though.
~ Thoughts are currently out of stock sorry... Though we have some ponderings if that will work. ~
