Monday morning, 9 AM. Day 1, Semester 2. Trinity College.

I have a Foundations for Professional Practice class this morning at 10, got to college an hour early to prep notes and finish setting up my planner for the week. Got the train at 7 AM this morning because I commute with my boyfriend who works up here in Dublin. 

Nervous about what this semester holds, I’ve heard some horror stories about this semester’s assignments. But trying to stay positive and organised!

malta looks heavenly

Today I had my first real moment alone since arriving in Malta, over coffee and books this morning at a café near the university. I love this spot; these balconies are everywhere in the city and they are so full of sunlight :–)

a snippet of my biology notes from semester 1. goodnotes was honestly a life saver. pen to paper, this would’ve taken me so much more time. and it wouldn’t have been half as pretty.

nothing too exciting today — but my first week’s revisions are officially done, and in this cute new notebook I bought for it, too! I’m really looking forward to my (seven) classes this sem: third-year 18th C Philosophy, fourth-year Fichte’s ethical theory, two fourth-year classes in rhetoric, a third-year history elective on France since the Revolution, a cognitive science course on how to learn more effectively, and the final writing semester of my honours thesis!!! I’m going to be swamped, but my self-care game is strong these days, and I have the utmost faith that I can handle this workload 🤓💪🏽
