Finally. It’s over. 4 years of writing and the sequel is finally over. 44 chapters. Several arcs. A lot of waiting. And the story isn’t over yet, but this saga is.

Thank you. Thanks to each and every one of you who stuck by this story all these years. I could not have done this without your continued support.

A third and final installment to the SMHA Saga is planned, but a small hiatus will be taken between stories. I have so many ideas for arcs and stories to be told for the next story. I hope you all had a wonderful time reading, and I’ll see you for the next one, true believers!

With how massive the final chapter is looking to be, I’m considering splitting it into two parts and uploading them at the same time. If I can keep it under 15,000 words then it’ll be one chapter, if not, I’m gonna split it. Either way you’ll get the whole ending at once.

Been listening to this track on repeat as I write possibly the final chapter of SMHA 2. It’s been a wild time and I’ve loved every second of it. I decided to redraw my first Spider-Man: Hero Academia cover from all those years ago. I think it really shows how far I have come as an artist since this first official image for the series. A few things are altered a bit as well as adding Kyoka. I’m really proud of how it came out!

Hello if there's one thing you wanted to change in your fanfic what would it be? For me it would be: Make Peter old and more experienced but maybe engaged with MJ and be a teacher in UA, Miles shares the same age as Deku, etc. Just asking.

Any small changes I wanna make I’ll probably address in the web comic adaptation I’m doing.

As for your suggestion, it would have been interesting to use an older Peter instead, maybe make it so he faked his teaching degree and application instead of his enrollment forms, but I would have paired him up with a pro hero, not MJ. Since it’s a crossover I wanna utilize that in the best way.

I do admit I prefer miles being younger than Peter, but I still tried to make their mentorship work best I could. I actually really liked the “life story” version where Peter was an old man and miles was a young adult, reminded me of Batman Beyond.

I’m still happy with using young Peter as it fits with the themes of the show and manga, but I agree that more stories should use older Peter, just to change things up. I wouldn’t change my story that drastically, but looking at the what ifs is always fun.

This is just a base I used to envision the costumes; I’ll make an official artwork of them soon, but I wanted everyone to see what they looked like in the chapter.

So I decided to bring in Peters new costume before the end of this story instead of waiting because A; it made the most sense for his arc and B; I really love this costume. I know people were split on the one before on how the torso was designed so I hope people like this one more, cuz I sure do!

For Itsuka I wanted to slightly update the one I drew forever ago but still keep it relatively the same, and for Izuku there are already a ton of fan versions of him as Spider-Man so I had to make to stand out in some way, hence the ears and cape

Do you ever start writing something that you’re excited about and that seems like it’s turning out well and that you’re getting eager to share, and then you start typing it up or doing an edit pass and it’s just awful it’s awful its premise is fundamentally flawed and it’s out of character and the prose is clunky and the plot is badly paced and ludicrous and the whole thing is embarrassing, how could you have done this, how could you have sunk so much time into this, you can’t even look at it, how is this that shining thing you were so excited about, how could you even have considered finishing it let alone sharing it with anyone, you’re crying, your mother is crying, nuns are spontaneously exploding in the streets,
