College is A Scam [Bakugou x Reader College AU] Ch.10

Regret

“C’mon dude hurry up! We’re gonna be late!!!” 

Bakugou groaned at the whiny tone of his electric blonde companion. With his hands shoved deep in his pockets, back slouched over like he had 20lb weights on his shoulders, it was obvious that the ash blonde was already dreading this night. 

He already didn’t want to go to this party, but with the added complaints from his roommates only made him hate everything even more. 

And of course it didn’t help that he only agreed to go because he knew you were going to be there. 

“We’re fucking 10 minutes early dunce face we’re not gonna be late. Why the fuck are you in such a rush anyways dumbass.” Bakugou grumbled. 

“Because!” Kaminari threw his hands in the air for emphasis, “We gotta get to the hot chicks first before they get snatched up!” 

Of course. Typical incel. 

Bakguou rolled his eyes. “Fucking idiot…”

“C’mon brighten up Bakubro!” Sero nudged the angry blonde in the side, passing him a cheeky smile, “maybe you’ll end the night with a nice pretty lady in your bed~” he snorted with an annoying wiggle of his eyebrows. 

The ash blonde shoved the ravenette by his shoulder, “Fuck off.”

“Hehe there it is!” Kaminari exclaimed, pointing excitedly at the neon lights that illuminated from the windows of the frat house. The ground beneath them shook from the booming bass of the music. 

Bakugou heaved a deep sigh.

This was going to be a long night.

And a long night it definitely was. 

Barely even a few steps in, and not even a brush of his fingers against a cold bottle of beer, he was already wedged between sweaty bodies of strangers, classmates he’s never talked to, or even some of his closest friends. 

He had planned to take refuge in a corner of a room for the entirety of the party, but it was almost impossible to do that as he was practically tossed around against his will.

This was really not the way he wanted to wind down after exams. 

And to make things worse, he barely even had the chance to hang out with you the entire party – let alone see you. 

But what could he do? This was a college party with a bunch of young adults buzzing with alcohol in their system and doing incomprehensible dance moves. And you were one of those individuals. 

In the few chances he got to witness you in passing, you were dancing your little heart out to the booming beat of the music. Arms up high in the arm, your face plastered in the most giddy smile he had ever seen, and your hips wiggling side to side. 

Your red haired partner accompanied right behind you, pelvis pressed against your behind as he enjoyed the atmosphere as much as you did. 

The sight was like a punch in the face to the ash blonde. 

And to that he chugged down his bottle of beer. 

How badly he wanted to leave the party and go back to his dorm for some peace and quiet, maybe even curl up in bed with a good book. He didn’t care how old fashioned it sounded, but it would've been very much preferable than being wedged between sweaty bodies and having to witness his crush throwing it back to his best friend right in front of his eyes. But much to his luck he was the one in the group who could hold their alcohol the best, so he was deemed the technical “designated driver”, making sure that the other idiots made it safely to bed and not in a river somewhere by the end of the night.

Bakugou sighed, 

When will he finally get to relax?

It wasn’t till a few hours later that he found himself lugging the lightning blonde and ravenette on each of his shoulders. 

The two males had drunken too much – Kaminari was dumb enough to play a few rounds of beer pong and, of course, losing horribly at it. There was a questionable red hand print on one of his cheeks. Bakugou had found the electric male passed out in the kitchen, allegedly he had attempted to flirt with Jiro – and from the mark on his face it was obvious that his attempt had failed. 

Sero on the other hand was the lightest weight of them all, and had taken refuge on the couch the majority of the party. 

‘Fucking lame’, the ash blonde sighed. 

The male trudge clumsily down the street, internally cursing at his friends for dragging him into this mess – but even more so you. While he hated to admit it, you were the main reason why he even went to the party in the first place. 

The second he saw your text pop up on his phone screen he was sold. He hated parties – but with the notion that you would be there he reconsidered. 

But now as he is left in the position of dragging two unconscious males back to their dorm, he was mentally cursing at you for changing his mind so easily – and to make matters worse of this whole ordeal, he didn’t even get to talk to you during any of those unbearable hours at the party. 

You were too busy with your boyfriend. 

Heck, he didn’t even get to see you at the end when everyone was starting to leave. And Kirishima was no exception. 

Neither of two were to be found by the end of the night. The ash blonde had figured that you two had gone off god knows where together doing god knows what – he didn’t even wanna think about it. 

When Bakugou finally made it back to the dorm, managing to get the two other males safely into their rooms – more like he just dumped them on the floor of their doorway, barely giving a damn if they even made it to their bed. The blonde collapsed on his bed in exhaustion. His arm tiredly falling over his eyes as he let out a heavy deep sigh. 

Where could you be? He regretfully thought. His mind is still dizzy from the few bottles of beer he drank, but overall somewhat sober and aware and still able to be foolishly thinking of you. 

Why was he still thinking of you at a time like this? You couldn’t care less about what he was up to right now, you were probably all cuddled up with your boyfriend, passed out drunk or doing other things. 

Bakugou bit his tongue,

Don’t think of such things! Of course they would be together, they are a couple after all! 

As his mind wandered off to these taunting thoughts he started to blame the alcohol more and more- 

“Ah!”

Bakugou froze. 

Was that a woman’s voice coming from the other room? 

“Mmm~”

The noise was heard in the direction of a familiar redhead’s room… 

Shit. 

“Eijirou…”

Yeah you definitely weren’t thinking of him tonight…

honestly i still need to figure out how everything on tumblr works/how i did it before lol. its been so long. man uni really fucked me up i was really fighting for my life i couldnt even look at my drafts. 

sorry if my writing isnt as good (if it even was good before) as it was before, uni really burned me out i can barely think of anything. but rn im in the process of applying to jobs its been tough but its much more lax than doing uni stuff :3

it’s like 2 weeks before christmas break but there is so much shit to get done

after this semester i got one more semester of uni left and then i’m free of school forever

but then that means i have to apply for real person jobs…
