A silly question! The crew is asked to participate in a talent show…what is Mirji doing?

Mirji actually was a street performer before joining on with the Inkarna! They can do all sorts of stuff, from juggling things on fire (not allowed on the ship), magic tricks, breaking into something you thought was uncrackable and stealing your most prized possessions... but what they'd probably end up doing is playing music using their prosthetic arm/instrument. It plays music, it lights up, and it can hack all your personal devices at the same time!

Mygre collects knives, does Dawn collect anything? Or, if she could, what would she like to collect? (Maybe I think she deserves a present for all she’s been through 😭)

Strays. As in, stray people. People who don't have anywhere else to go, who are lost or don't fit quite right with the lives they had and long for Something Else. That's how she's gathered everyone currently on her crew.

She also has a fondness for physical books, in whatever form they come in across various worlds. But in space, there's only so much room for that stuff. So "collect" is a strong word.

Can you tell us anything about how Mygre is doing? I miss her on my dash

I'm taking this as an excuse to ramble. Yeehaw

As you may or may not know, the Star Saga is undergoing a major overhaul rn. The characters themselves less so (except for Ella who is completely different but that's another story). Mygre's backstory is mainly the same, except I'm changing a few things about her and L'ara's past. Instead of them already being broken up and L'ara having moved on when Mygre goes after the people who killed her sister, they were still together. L'ara is not happy about Mygre going off on a quest for revenge and not responding to her messages at all. So when Mygre returns, L'ara ends things. Mygre holds on to a stubborn "yeah right, she'll be back," view for a while.

When that doesn't happen, Mygre swears off love. Deep down, she's scared that anyone who loves her (excluding Dawn of course) will leave like L'ara when they see her dark side (or the real her, as she still thinks). Even though Yitera is there on the ship and they definitely both have feelings for each other and everyone else has to deal with that Situation. So she's still a knife-loving snarky buff bitch who is an emotional mess (and we love her for it).

Also there is definitely going to be a scene where she and Tobias have a deep conversation about love and loss and fear while sharing a bottle of something Tobias definitely shouldn't be drinking which ends with him having the worst hangover of all time.

About your question on this Friday! Mine is from a poem, Melissa Broder’s “Problem Area.” The line is “I asked God for a swordsman/and God said ‘look at your hands’” It really helped me at a time when I was in a super difficult situation and I was afraid I couldn’t change it. It helped me feel empowered when I’d just felt small before.

It's amazing how words can inspire and empower us like that! That's why I want to know what other people's answers are and it also is something to aspire to as a creator--give someone even jut a little bit of hope, because that might just be all they need.
