ok not to be that person but aph spain from veraverse is so amazing

he represents this idealized young person who fights for what is right and is determined and strong, but is humble and kind and passionate about his friends and the people he loves.

he loves lovino obviously, but even more than that, he truly cares for him. like even though lovi claims he doesnt love him, antonio still risks his life to save lovino, is kind towards him, would do anything for him, all without overstepping his boundaries

hes in the middle of a goddamn war, one of the most wanted people in europe, probably stressed as fuck, and he still gazes up at the stars and wonders at the beauty of the universe like a poet

the scene where he and lovino are sitting in the garden and relaxing is so endearing... he says he loves trains, renoir, stars, hg wells...

like hes such an idealized character he could never exist in real life but its kind of beautiful that through such horror and violence he has witnessed and still does, he still loves simple acts of beauty and kindness and love... pretty fucking beautiful if you ask me luv

guys i remembered why i decided not to pursue animation… but I tweaked that little Besame Mucho shot I did a couple days back just to give it some mood, but I think I’m gonna go back to regular painting again. Nonetheless, getting back into animation was pretty fun, despite it being a little frustrating. (but some things are worth it… *wink wink* )
