Sing Me a Melody Ch. 10 (A bakudeku omegaverse au)
Chapter 10: Legality
“Mind your own business,” Dabi snapped at Katsuki. “I'm just getting my mate so we can go home after his little accident.”
Izuku felt panic rise in his chest and he had to keep himself from latching onto the sleeping pup next to him.
He couldn't go back with him. He would never go back with him. He was scared out of his mind. Going back with him now meant he could very well lose his life.
“That's funny. Because he is coming home with me,” Katsuki stated, not liking how close he was to his mate and child. It was taking everything within himself not to launch across the room and slam the man's head into the ground.
For everything he had done to Izuku in the past. He had hoped he never saw the guy and here he was, being served to him on a silver platter. He deserved to be locked up for what he had done to him. And now he was trying to take him again.
“And who do you think you are?” Dabi scoffed but he had his answer the moment his scent hit his nose. Izuku's new alpha.
“His alpha,” Katsuki staetd, taking a step forward. “And you will leave. Now, before I have security come to get you. And don't think you can follow us anymore. Your little chip is gone.”
Dabi looked surprised at that, looking to Izuku and then to the bandage on his head. Izuku scowled at him.
“Now you can't follow me anymore,” Izuku stated.
“Like hell I can't,” Dabi said, reaching and grabbing Izuku's wrist. In his other hand he tugged out a piece of paper out of his pocket. “I have this. And until you have one of your own, you can't claim him as yours. And I can just replant my mark on him.”
“You mean this?” Katsuki asked, holding up his own piece of paper. Izuku's eyes shined a bit with unshed tears, a small smile there. He had gotten his mating liscence to be his proper alpha. In this case Izuku was free forever of Dabi.
“Kacchan,” Izuku whispered and fear set in as Dabi's grip tigthtened on his arm, tugging on him which caused him to yelp in pain.
That set Katsuki off and he stomped to the other alpha, fangs bared as he grabbed him by the shoulder and shoved him away from his mate.
He crashed into one of the carts, toppling over objects and making a loud bang. Eri startled awake and started to cry, whimpering softly at who this man was and why Izuku was upset.
“Daddy,” Eri cried and just hearing his pup being upset set Katsuki off even more, grabbing hold of Dabi's collar and tugged him up, fist poised to hit him.
Izuku collected Eri against him, keeping her against his chest and away from the image of her father going to hurt someone. The little girl clung to his hospital gown, crying softly.
“Kacchan!” Izuku called out and Katsuki stopped, looking over at his mate and child. They were terrified, Eri more so since she didn't know what was going on.
But also Katsuki was sure she had seen her fair share of violence when it came to her birth mother. Who knew what she had witnessed or been exposed to.
Red eyes turned back to Dabi who scowled and was ready to strike himself.
“Leave. Now. And if I ever catch you near my mate ever again,” Katsuki growled at him.
“You'll what?” Dabi asked with a smirk. “Go on. Threaten me mister big rock star.”
That caught Katsuki off guard and Dabi was able to get a good punch in on Katsuki's eyes. The blonde grunted, dropping him and Dabi stepped away as the blonde covered his injured face.
With the commotion going on security appeared in no time, grabbing hold of Dabi as Katsuki pointed to him.
“Get him out of here.”
The man grabbed hold of Dabi, pulling his arms behind his back. Dabi smirked regardless.
“Have fun with a defective omega,” Dabi snarled at them. “He's useless if he can't give you any pups rockstar.”
“Out!” Katsuki roarted and security pulled him away.
Katsuki let out a sigh, the only sound now coming from Eri who sobbed in Izuku's arms. He looked to them his chest tightneing at the sight.
Izuku looked perfect. Holding Eri close, rocking her gently in his arms and sending out a soothing scent to relax the young pup.
“Hey, it's okay,” Katsuki said softly as he came closer to them. “It's all over. The bad man is gone now.”
Once he was at the side of the bed Eri released Izuku and she latched herself to the blonde. Izuku didn't mind of course, understanding.
“I've got you princess,” Katsuki said gently, petting her hair as she trembled in his arms, her sobs turning into quiet sniffles. “Daddy's got you. Daddy is here.”
“Kacchan,” Izuku said softly after a few moments of soothing his pup. Katsuki looked to his mate who reached out and cupped his cheek.
He winced a bit from the pain but he gave him a smile.
“I've had worse,” The blonde said with a snort. Izuku gave a small smile at that.
“I figured you have. But I really still would like you to have that checked out when you can,” Izuku urged him.
Katsuki kissed his hand and nodded.
“I will when she calms down,” Katsuki promised, holding Izuku's hand. The omega stared at them a moment and then to the discarded liscence on the floor.
“You really got it?” Izuku asked softly.
“Yep,” Katsuki replied. “Had Sero fax it over since I have to give a copy to the hospital. All I need is for you to sign it.”
“I'll do it as soon as possible,” Izuku said. He would have to thank Sero later for helping him out of such a bad situation. Though he was sure hearing about Katsuki's newest mating had send him reeling about what could happen. “Also...Kaccchan?”
“Hm?”
“Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For saving me,” Izuku explained “Regardless of my flaws....If you hadn't come he would have taken me away and who knows if I would have lived after the next time he tried to get me to conceive. I would be barren...again.”
“Izu,” Katsuki said, this time tucking his finger under his chin so that he would look up into his eyes at him. “Just because you can't have pups doesn't mean you are useless or defective. If we ever want children of our own one day, we have other options like adoption.”
Izuku smiled softly at that, nodding his head as he wiped away another tear that was trying to leak down his chin again. Now that the adrenaline was gone he was feeling exhausted again and just wanted to sleep.
“Here,” Katsuki said gently, slowly guiding Izuku to lay back down on the bed and set a now sleeping Eri next to him again. Izuku rest his arm around her, Katsuki laying the blanket over them both so they could stay warm.
“I'll get myself fixed up. You rest more, okay?” Katsuki said but Izuku grabbed his arm quickly.
“Please don't leave us,” Izuku said, fear lingering in his voice.
Katsuki's eyes softened and he leaned down to brush a kiss against his forehead to help relax him.
“I won't,” he said, pushing the button to summon the nurse to the room. “I promise I own't leave either of you.”
*
It was a few days later that Katsuki had to answer the door to the hotel room. His band mates stood there looking scared but also had arms of gifts.
“Kirishima told us what happened and uh...” Kaminari started and Katsuki scowled at the redhead. At least he didn't barge in.
“Oh did he now?”
“We just want to see how he's doing and offer our congrats,” Mina chimed in. “We want to welcome him to the family.”
Katsuki pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a small sigh. “Alright. But he's a little jumpy after some stuff okay? And don't make it a shock that Eri has literally latches herself onto him.”
The others stepped into the room with armfuls full of gifts. The blonde closed the door, raising a brow. What were they trying to do? Smother him with affection?
“You still have Eri? Hasn't it been a few days?” Mina finally asked.
“Yes,” Katsuki said. “And today I need to take a very important phone call.”
The tone of his voice and look on his face said enough. Katsuki was not willing to talk about this right about now.
“Right,” Mina said a little nervously but then followed the others into the other room.
“Aunt Mina! Uncle Kiri! Uncle Kami!” Eri said, wiggling off of Izuku's lap and ran to them, giving each of them a hug. Izuku smiled softly at that, adjusting the blanket that was on his lap.
“Good to see you again kiddo,” Kaminari said, hugging Eri tightly.
Katsuki stood by the couch, resting his hands gently on Izuku's shouldres, rubbing his bandage a bit where he had bitten him.
“You okay with the company?” he asked softly. Izuku nodded his head, resting his hands on Katsuki's for the moment, giving a reassuring squeeze.
“I'll be fine,” Izuku told him. “I like the company. It means that if I fall asleep I won't wake up to have him standing by my bed again...”
Katsuki's eyes softened a little bit at that, feeling a little guilty about it. If he had been there he would have never gotten in at all...he wouldn't have had to deal with that.
“I'm sorry-”
“Don't apologize again,” Izuku said softly, gaining their attention. Katsuki glared at them a bit until Eri came back over and tucked herself right into Izuku's sida again.
“I'll tell you later,” he told his bandmates. He wasn't sure how much Kirishima that had told them but he was sure he hadn't said anything about the whole ex showing up.
He was hoping that he would end up going to jail for harassement but he was sure the man was just removed from the aera. Unless Izuku was near him he couldn't get him put away.
And getting him near that guy was the last thing he wanted to do.
He leaned down and kissed the top of Izuku's head gently near the bandage. He already had things in motion to getting Izuku's things and severing Izuku's lease.
His phone buzzed in his pocket and he kissed his head again.
“I'll be right back,” he said. At least he could trust his friends to protect Izuku. He had to make sure that he never left Izuku alone for a while.
“Okay,” Izuku chirped watching Katsuki walk away. Katsuki pulled the phone to his ear.
“Hello?”
“Hello Mr. Bakugou, I'm calling to return your message about getting sole custody over your daughter Eri?” the woman on the phone said.
“Yes,” Katsuki said, peeking at the group a small smile coming to his face. He was taking big steps lately. He would need a break soon.
“How soon can we start the process?” he asked.
“Already have. And you have a good evidence against her considering she has not come back to pick her up.”
“Good.”

A Service to the King Ch. 12 (A SidLink Omegaverse Story)
Chapter 12: Together and Apart
Sidon felt that familiar pull once again about a few weeks later. On and off he felt that pull of his shade being summoned. When he could he would pop in but he would just sit and watch Link.
Most of the time it was Link sleeping. He wanted to just have the comfort of his arms around him as he slept.
It tended to happen more at night but there was an occasional nap during the day.
Sometimes it was hard. He had needed a quiet moment and total concentration to be able to focus on being with Link, wanting to feel himself there rather than just being a fly on the wall so to speak.
Link was really trying to cope with his feelings by summoning Sidon's sage.
It wasn't healthy but how else did he tell him? Plus he had no idea where he was so he couldn't speak to him.
Unless he tried to speak with him through his sage.
He felt the tug again on his soul and he knew he had to check in and try to see him. It was getting late so it meant that Link may be getting ready to go to sleep.
It wasn't the same without him there he supposed. Before Sidon had started using his shade to sleep he had to admit he had been struggling.
Aside from his other kingly duties, he had made sure to check up on Yona a lot with their egg to see if there was any new developments. As always there wasn't and it sat tucked in it's warm water waiting to be born.
He was glad though that Bazz had volunteered to stay with Yona most of the time while she was on bed rest. He knew he could put his trust in his friend to protect the queen while she was most vulnerable and to protect the heir to the throne as well.
And even when she was allowed to move again Bazz had taken to staying near her as well to protect her and the child.
But in doing so it left Sidon's mind wide open for many things.
The way Link had left, being a father soon, and so on. He just needed a break. But King's never got breaks. Ever.
The only esapre Sidon had now was waiiescapting for Link to summon his shade and he could spend the night with him as if nothing had changed.
Though he never spoke, never moved unless he was told to or felt the pull. It was never anything more than to hold him.
And hold him he did.
He stepped into his bed chambers with a sigh, locking the door for some privacy. He was always nevous of someone finding him spaced out and thinking something was wrong. They knew of his shade and his help of Link but now that Ganondorf was gone, there really was no reason for Link to summon him, at least in their eyes.
Sidon wanted to see him to every single night.
He felt that tug again on his spirit as he climbed onto the bed. He got himself comfortable, ready for another night of being able to get a good night's rest.
How else was an alpha to do without his omega nearby of course? That's what he wanted to tell himself anyway. Link wasn't his though.
And he wasn't Link's.
He let out a breath before his mind became jumbled. That would make the process take longer than it needed to be. Best to let his mind go blank.
Letting out a breath he calmed his mind, letting himself drift slowly.
And then when he was opening his eyes he was standing in this unfamiliar home with Link standing before him, blue eyes looking determined.
He was a little confused. They weren't in Link's bed or in one of his chairs where Link tended to sleep form time to time.
They were in his bedroom so perhaps he just hadn't given him his orders yet.
Tear streaks were running down Link's face and he had his hands gripped, still staring up at Sidon's shade with a frown.
Every time Sidon saw him Link was more or less in this state. Upset, feeling lost. He never let it show to anyone else but here in privacy he didn't keep himsef bottled up.
And each time when Link was awake Sidon just wanted to pull him close and hug him, tell him it was okay and he could relax.
“Sit on the bed please,” Link said with a sigh. Sidon did as he was told, going to sit on the edge of the bed like he had asked. Link stood before him, still having to peer up at him with how tall Sidon was. He had indeed grown taller.
Instead of telling him to lay down Link climbed onto his lap, straddling the king's legs with his own and looped his arms around his neck.
“You haven't even bothered to try to contact me,” Link said with a sad smile as he looked up at him. “No letters, no messages, not even a visit....”
Sidon felt his chest tighten, wanting to do something for him but he had to remain still.
“I thought you had loved me Sidon...” Link said softly, resting his hands now on his cheeks.
Sidon wanted to scream that he loved him, tell him that everyhing was oaky. But it was far from it. Their situation was not one that could easily be fixed without someone getting hurt in the process of it all.
“This is the only way I can have you now...” Link said to him, a tear running down his cheek. “If this is what I have to do to be happy, then so be it.”
Without a moment of hesitation Link pulled him down into a kiss, letting out a breath against his lips as he clung to the king.
Sidon held in a sigh, forcing his body to remain still as Link kissed him. But by doing so it seemed that like just upset Link more.
“I wish you were more like him,” Link said. “More like the real thing...”
Sidon couldn't take it anymore. He needed Link to know he was there. He needed to kiss him again. These months apart had been taxing on him and just one kiss had sent him into craving more. No. He had to tell him.
He moved in then, leaning in to kiss him again. Link gasped and clutched his arms around him, Sidon's arms holding him close and letting out a soft noise.
The kiss was fierce, full of love and emotion and hen Link pulled away to breathe he was panting.
“Si..Sidon?” Link asked, flushing darkly at the realization dawning on him. Sidon could feel and hear everything. This was his soul after all.
“Yes,” Sidon said, his voice not sounding quite right but it was there nonthelsss. “I'm here Link. I've always been here whenever you called upon me.”
“This isn't just...some sage order?” Link asked.
Sidon leaned in close, his blank eyes staring down into one's of blue.
“No, never was,” Sidon said to him and he grabbed hold of his chin in his fingers, keeping him close as the hylian's cheeks burned a bright red. “Now my omega, kiss me.”
Link didn't hesitate and he leaned in again, kissing Sidon deeply with a soft sigh. Sidon pulled them both down onto the bed, pinning Link's hands above his head as he rolled him to his back.
“Seeing you so upset for months was killing me inside. I didn't think I was allowed to be present here, wanting you to spend your times the way you wished wth my shade,” Sidon said. “It doesn't quite help but some touch is better than none.”
Link smiled softly, his eyes watery as he touched his face.
“You've been with me the entire time and I never knew...I'm sorry I said that,” Link said to him, his heart fluttering deep in his chest. “You do love me.”
“I always have and I'll never stop,” Sidon said, leaning in for another kiss. “No matter what happens, I will always love you.” Link smiled softly but the memory then had his smile faltering which had Sidon's face dropping a little bit at the sight of it.
“Link..?”
The blonde sighed softly and he rest his hand on Sidon's a bit.
“I'm sorry for leaving the way I did,” Link said to him. “I know I should have said something to you but I was in such pain I couldn't.”
“Link...” Sidon said but stopped when the blonde held up his hand and he wiggled out from under him. Sidon let him go and he sat back on his heels.
“I know you said things wouldn't change but...I want it to change. Things have already changed. You'te going to be a father, you're the king married to the queen. I don't fit into that situation anywhere. There isn't a spot for me,” Link began.
Sidon felt his heart pang as he heard his words, knowing what he was talking about.
“I can't ask you to do aything for me. I can't ask you to choose. It wouldn't be right even if you chose me over your wife and child. I was doing this with your sage just to cope wth my grief of losing you. I'm struggling..”
“But you haven't lost me,” Sidon tried to reason with him.
“Sidon, I have,” Link said softly, leaning into the hand that was on his cheek. “I waited too long to admit my feelings nad now you have people you need to take care of. I won't let you choose between me and her. You should choose her.”
Sidon let out a heavy sigh, anger brewing inside of him. How did he make Link see that he wanted him no matter what? But he was right.
Sidon was king now and he had duties to his domain and his queen. He was also going to have duties to his child.
Perhaps he could speak with Yona about having Link being his consort. It wasn't uncommon. He just wasn't sure how she would feel about it. She was a part of this after all.
“I will decide what it is that I wish,” Sidon said to him after a little while, Link sitting across from him and carefully laid his clawed hand on Sidon's, still afraid that he hated that sort of thing.
“I'll be waiting for you,” Link said to him and he let out a small sigh, lifting his hand as he looked at the ring, reaching to remove it.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“I shouldn't be summoning you any longer. It's wrong of me to do so...and get your attention on me when you have so much more to focus on,” Link said with a sad smile on his face.
“Link, please,” Sidon said to him, panic rising in his chest. If he took off that ring there was no way for him to contact the omega. He had no idea where he was, couldn't go to visit and couldn't go to send letters.
Zelda would especially make sure that they weren't together. She was more than likely very upset for the pain that he had caused Link.
And Sidon didn't blame her. He had done so much to him.
“I don't know how to contact you,” Sidon said to him, resting his hands over Link's, gently puling them down. “Please, either tell me where you are or just leave the ring on for both of our sakes. I haven't seen you in so long I don't think I could bare to be apart.”
Link let out a small sigh and nodded his head, agreeing.
“For now I will leave it on,” Link said and he reached for Sidon's cheeks. “Now...if you'll indulge me me...I would like to be a little selfish myself.”
“By all means my Link,” Sidon said, his words being cut off as Link tugged him in close and kissed him again, letting out a slow breath.
The king couldn't help himself, pulling him closer to his body and tucked his hand onto the small of his back.
Any day he'd allow Link to be selfish.

A Sea of Green and Red ch. 17 (A Bakudeku mermaid au)
Chapter 17: Realizations
“What do you mean you lost him?” Shigaraki asked with a snarl, leaning down to his crew member. The man was under his foot, the captain's sword dug into his shoulder to keep him pinned in place so he couldn't run away.
“I lost track of him. He took a sudden turn and then just disappeared,” the man said with a wince. “Please, I can find him.”
“Silence,” Shigaraki snapped, tugging out his sword and kicked the man away from him, nodding with his head to take him away from him.
To lose his life, to go to the cell who knew. He didn't care at this point.
He needed to find his merman again. He had to follow him to make sure that he knew which direction to take. But for him to suddenly take a turn...
He was on to them. He was trying to lead him away from the direction he had been heading in the first place.
“Clever little runt you are,” Shigaraki said with a smirk. But he didn't think he was that clever. Someone had to be helping him. But who?
The one that had been helping him was dead. Or....that's what he assumed.
“Touya,” Shigaraki said to his new second in command. The man covered in burns approached slowly, a brow raised.
“Yeah?”
“Bakugou's body. You saw to that it was disposed of correctly?” Shigarki asked.
“Disposed of? You told us to just leave him to rot, which was what we did.”
The captain scowled, turning from him and went to the edge of the boat, staring out at the vast ocean before him.
No...he couldn't be. He had made sure of it. He had made sure that he had taken care of that traitorous piece of garbage.
After all the years of trusting him and he turns his back on him just for some fish tail. He played him for a fool.
“There's no way he's alive,” Shigaraki growled. But there was a possibility that another merperson had found him and was helping him. But how would they know he was being followed? They had made sure to stay at a safe distance.
Either way however, he was trying to throw him off the scent. Throw him off the track to be able to move forward. They had kept heading north and he suddenly went east...
“Alert to everyone that we are continuing forward. That is the direction we are going to take to find those freaks of nature. And if we're lucky everyone will get that kiss. We will be the one crew that can breathe underwater and we will be unstoppable.”
“Aye, aye captain,” Touya said, turning to bark orders at the other crew members to get moving once again.
Shigaraki smirked at that, watching as the sails were adusted to head in that direction. They would find those merpeople and they would make sure that they won this.
“You think you're smart little mermaid, but you will be mine again. And this time you will never ever disobey me again,” he said confidnetly.
He started to laugh then, a dry cackle coming from his throat.
The others ignored him as he had his laugh. They never questionsed him, though they were bothered how easily he had gone insane after one encounter with a merman.
*
Izuku woke with a start, lifting his head up from the soft warm chest of his mate. His heart was hammering hard against his chest.
Something was wrong.
He swallowed, looking to the sleeping form next to him and he relaxed a little bit. He shifted closer to snuggle into him, swallowing as he tried to get his racing heart to relax.
He had to try to remain calm. Any super amount of stress could be very bad for their little baby...granted there was one growing inside of him. He just felt like that he was carrying possibly the first mermaid human hybrid child.
But that was not what had woken him. No.. he felt like something was going to happen soon. Something bad.
He stared up at Katsuki for a little bit, eyes trailing over his bare body and settled on the large scar again on his chest. He had nearly lost him. He had thoguht he lost him but by some miracle he had survived such an attack on his body.
He could see the dark circles under his eyes and his skin cracking in places from being in the water so much.
No...he should leave him alone for a little while, not trouble him with some nightmare that he had woken from...one that he even couldn't remember now.
He carefully got up and went to the mouth of the cave, Katsuki's clothes gathered in his fist now that they were dry. He slipped them on, them being much too big, and he slipped out onto the island that the cave had been connected to.
He gazed about around him. They were on the edge of the island, the beach connected to the rock face that they had got comfortable in. The other caves were nearby, each connected to the island as well for any of them to come through.
Though he didn't expect his mother, Shoto, or even Mina to want to gain their legs like he had and take to the sands.
He sat on the edge of the water. He kept himself out of it, not wanting to get Katsuki's clothes wet again, but also so he wasn't tempted to let his tail out again. He hugged his knees and stared out at the water. A breath passed his lips.
He did wonder what his life would be like after all of this mess with the pirates were behind them. He wanted to go home, badly. He wanted to go home after so long.
But then he couldn't take Katsuki with him. The blonde couldn't survive under the water. Just looking at him before really showed him that his delicate human body couldn't handle it.
There was no way for him to change into a merman and breathing underwater only granted him access to his home so much.
It was if the world was telling Izuku that he couldn't have it both ways. He would either have to leave his home to be with Katsuki or he would have to be with Katsuki to be in his home...
He let out a sigh, pressing his face into his legs, letting out a small groan of annoyance at himself. He knew he wanted to be with Katsuki. Maybe he could still visit home?
“Can't sleep either?” came a familiar voice. Izuku lifted his head to see Shoto. The young merman tensed, looking away as the prince actually unsteadily walked closer on human legs with a large piece of cloth to cover himself up.
He hadn't really talked to him since he had...bashed his head with a rock to save Katsuki. He still didn't understand how the two of them had become allies after what had happened between them.
He would tread with caution.
“No...I can't,” Izuku said to him, tensing when the two toned hair prince sat down next to him, staring out at the water as well. “...your highness...I...”
“No need,” Shoto said to him. “I understand why you did it. And honestly it's healed already. You're in love with Katsuki and I have to understand that.”
Izuku shifted a bit, relaxing only a little bit.
“I'm still sorry for hurting you,” Izuku sighed, letting go of his legs and dug his fingers into the sand, feeling the grains run through his fingers.
The two sat in silence for a few moments.
“Why can't you sleep?” he asked the prince softly.
“Just get the feeling that this was all too easy,” Izuku said softly, eyeing the smoky fog that had fallen over the ocean. Something really wasn't right but he couldn't put his fin on it. “Just send me away from home and hopes they turn around?”
“I'll admit I'm a little suspicious too. I thought we'd see something by now,” Shoto said. “We could have made a stand if they tried to catch you again.”
Izuku shiveed and hugged Katsuki's shirt to him a little closer.
“I never want to go back with them....”
“Well I know if any of us can help it, we won't let that happen again,” Shoto said to him and adjusted his legs a bit with a frown. “I don't understand how anyone can walk on these things.”
“It takes practice,” Izuku said with a small smile, noting Shoto's attempt to change the subject but also to get their minds off of the impending doom that was coming for them right about now.
“Show me?” Shoto asked.
“Really? The prince of the mermaid kingdom wants to learn to walk like a human?” Izuku asked. The only reason he was being playfully critical was his father. His father wanted nothing to do with humans and it was also what happned to him left a bitter taste in their mouths.
But Katsuki and Kirishima had showed that it wasn't humans, it was certain humans that were terrible people.
Just like there were terrible merfolk.
“Well I'll be king one day,” Shoto said with a small shrug of his shoulders. “Perhaps we should venture on land, get some protections for us.”
Izuku smiled soflty. There as still a possibility that it could happen to their home but it was a step in the right direction.
“That's amazing Shoto,” Izuku said.
“Well what better way to start than learning to walk and not make a fool of myself,” Shoto said. Izuku stood, dusting off his pants.
“Well rule one is you'll always have to make sure to wear clothes,” Izuku said. “They can't hide their bodies or anything like that.”
“Noted,” Shoto said, holding his hand out to Izuku who took it and helped the prince rise to his feet.
Izuku made sure he was balanced before starting to move about the sand.
“Sand isn't the best to learn on but it's all we have right now,” Izuku said walking around, skipping a little bit and stretching his legs.
He let out a small laugh as Shoto tried to fous in onlyhim not tumbling down.
“Sorry,” he aplogized to the prince. “I got carried away.”
“It's fine,” he said, standing again with his help. “Gotta admit...if I didn't know any better I would think you were actually a human with how well you walk and blend in.”
Izuku paused.
“You do?” he asked.
“I do,” he said.
Izuku looked out at the horizon. That didn't help but it did at the same time. He knew how to walk so well because of Katsuki that he could be seen as a human.
He could live with him.
“Izuku?” Shoto asked, slowly taking steps to walk towards him.
Izuku's eyes had widened as he stared out at the water.
“Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry, I didn't-”
“No,” Izuku said, pointing out to the water. “The ships...they're heading in the direction of home...Shoto, I lead them right to the kingdom.”
Shoto followed his hand and he paled. Sure enough they were close and heading right in the direction of their home.
“We have to warn them,” Izuku said determined.

Sing Me A Melody Ch. 9 (A BakuDeku Omegaverse Au)
Chapter 9: Always Found
“Sir, do you have the proper mated paper work?” the nurse asked Katsuki. The blonde sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“No I don't,” Katsuki replied.
“Well...without other identification I can't let you into the room with Mr. Midoriya I'm afraid. It's a protocol to protect our patients,” the nurse said, wincing when there was a slight growl from the blonde.
“Just do it man. We'll figure it out later,” Kirishima sighed.
Katsuki sighed, pulling his sunglasses off and then pulled out his wallet, setting his id down on the counter for her.
“Be discreet. He is my mate. Just check his scent. The bond is new,” Katsuki told her.
The nurse's eyes lit up at the familiar sight of the singer as well as the id in her hand.
“You're-”
“Discreet,” Katsuki snapped.
“Daddy grumpy...” Eri mumbled in Kirishima's arms.
“He sure is,” the redhead teased.
Katsuki shot a glare his way which that smile instantly fell from his face.
“Alright, here you are. This bracelet will grant you access to see him when the doctor is done stitching him up,” she said with a smile, then set a piece of paper on the counter. “Do you mind...?”
Katsuki sighed heavily, taking back his id and putting it back in his wallet. “Only if you get a bracelet for them too.”
“But-”
“You want an autograph or not?” he growled.
She flushed at that and she immediately went to work, getting the bracelets for Izuku and handed them to Kirishima so he could put them onto Eri and himself.
“Let's go,” Katsuki said, putting his sunglasses back on and looked down at the door number. “He should be there in a few minutes.”
*
Izuku sighed, laying in the bed as he stared up at the ceiling. He hated this. He just got a new alpha but he hadn't even been able to reutrn the mating mark.
Did Katsuki even want it?
He was thankful for the painkillers. During that procedure the doctor seemed to have taken a lot longer than he had thought.
He was just getting a few stitches in right?
Either way he was tired and just wanted to go back to the hotel with Katsuki.
He wanted to talk to him about returning the bite but also going to his place and packing his things up. He was fully committed at this point.
A soft knock on the door sounded and Izuku glanced over as a familiar head of blonde poked his head in.
“Up for some visitors?” he asked.
“Kacchan,” Izuku said with a warm smile. “Yes, of course.”
Katsuki stepped in and Kirishima and Eri came in as well. Eri stared up at him scared, tears in her eyes as she saw the large bandage on his head.
“You okay Eri bear?” Izuku asked her softly.
“Are you okay?” she asked softly, letting go of Kirishima's hand and made her way to his side at the bed.
“I'm okay,” he said to her. “Just a boo boo.”
Seeing the tears he pat the bed. She climbed on, Katsuki going to stop her but Izuku waved him away, letting the small pup curl up against him.
“There we go. Now I'll heal faster,” Izuku said, petting her head. Katsuki looked at him worried. “She's tired. It's okay.”
Tension settled around them as the two alphas sat down in the chairs near the bed. Izuku pet Eri's hair, the young pup curling in close as she got herself comfortable.
“Izuku...I'm sorry,” Kirishima finally said, breaking the silence. “This is all my fault. I shouldn't have barged in like that.”
“You shouldn't have had a key to my hotel room either,” Katsuki growled at him. Kirishima sighed, looking down at the ground.
“It's fine I guess....” Izuku mumbled, ignoring Katsuki's comment. “But why did you do that? Why did you throw me off?”
The blonde rose a brow at the redhead who let out a small sigh.
“Katsuki and I exchange extra hotel keys just in case to protect one another, that's why I had it,” Kirishima explained. “I over reacted. After what happened the last time when Katsuki had a mate I just thought the same thing would happen again. I didn't think my best friend would survive another round of hurt like that.”
The room fell in silence again and then Izuku looked to the blonde. Their eyes met and red eyes softened as he looked at him.
“Sure it has been fast but....” Katsuki said. “This is different man. I just feel something different. And...we've both been hurt. This was a way also to help the hurt.”
“Hurt..?” Kirishima sked.
Izuku looked down at Eri as she was dozing off against his side. He thread his fingers through her hair to help her relax.
“Crazy ex...I don't really want to talk about it,” Izuku said.
“Gotcha...” the redhead said and sighed. “Again I really am sorry for that. I'm surprised though with how big your bangage is...your wound didn't look that big.”
“Maybe you caused more damage than you thought?” Katsuki snarked at him which had the redhead flinching. “You owe him man.”
“I know...”
Izuku reached with his other hand and gently touched the bandages, his head feeling numb still from where they sewed him up.
“Is it really tht big?” he asked.
Katsuki stood up, going to his side and frowned.
“Something's up,” Katsuki said.
“Indeed there was,” came a voice from the doorway. The blonde turned to look at the man. He had long raven hair and looked like he hadn't slept in a week.
“Hello, I am Dr. Aizawa,” the man said, holding out his hand for them to shake. Katsuki did and then Izuku followed. “You are right to think something was up. This was more than just a bump to the head.”
Katsuki growled, glaring at the redhead.
“Relax, or I'm going to have to ask you to leave,” the man said. “This is delicate information which may cause Mr. Midoriya to get very upset.'
Izuku grew pale and the blonde rest his hand on his shoulder, petting his skin. The touch as well as his scent helped keep him relaxed.
“Did something happen doctor?” Izuku asked softly. Was he ill? Did something happen to him?
“Well when we were stitcing you up we had found something,” Aizawa said, pulling out a small bottle with somethin hard inside. “I'm not sure if you are aware of this but this was in your head.”
Izuku took the bottle with a shaking hand and he felt his blood run cold. A microchip?
“A...a microchip?” he asked, letting Katsuki take the bottle. “What?”
“With your reaction I'm sure you were not aware of this in your body. It's a tracking chip. One that mother's usually have implanted in their children when they're babies. This looks like it had been put in within the last five years or so,” Aizawa explained.
Izuku felt tears building in his eyes. “My mother never did that.”
She wasn't like that. She was protective but not at that level and he never remembered her popping up out of nowhere. But there was someone.
“That son of a-” Katsuki started.
“Language,” Aizawa said looking down at the sleeping Eri.
Izuku felt the tears leaking down his cheeks, looking up at Katsuki. “Kachaan...he....Dabi...he...”
“Shh...I got you,” Katsuki said to him softly, pulling Izuku gently into a hug as the omega trembled in his arms, red eyes going to his friend.
“See what he meant by crazy ex?” He said. Though even Katsuki didn't know the beginning of what the heck happened.
“The chip was deactivated. We can dispose of it for you if you'd like,” the doctor offered, looking to Katsuki for the answer as Izuku was sobbing against his chest.
“Yes. Please,” Katsuki said. “It'll make us feel a lot better.”
The doctor nodded his head. “I will check up on you later.”
Katsuki continued to rub Izuku's head carefully, letting out a small sigh.
“In a way if we weren't here that chip would still be in his head,” Katsuki sighed. “I'm still not happy he got hurt but this chip has been hurting him in the longest of ways.”
Izuku wiped his eyes, trying to calm down. He felt safe with Katsuki.
*
Izuku had drifted off with his mind buzzing around. He had always wondered how Dabi had been able to find him. Now he knew. Now he knew how he always popped up.
He could have even popped up at the hotel and never knew. Without the band's special code no one would be allowed to go up into the hotel.
He woke with a small hum, rubbing one of his eyes as he sat up a bit. His head was throbbing a little from the pain but he felt a little better.
Dabi couldn't follow him anymore. But this proved that he would be gathering his things and moving with Katsuki. Always on the go and staying with the alpha that actually cared about his well being rather than just producing pups.
He was safe now. Katsuki had stepped from the room for the moment, Kirishima had gone home as well as visiting hours were over. Izuku was to be kept over night for observation.
Eri stayed curled up against him and he pet her hair gently. He was happy that the pup liked hm. Now that he was with her father he wanted to make sure that she knew that she would be loved by him. And how could he not? She was so sweet.
He leaned down brushing some hair from her face and kissed her forehead. He would give her the lover she deserved that her mother never gave her.
“Well, well, well,” came a familiar voice causing Izuku to tense, wide eyes turning to look at the familiar figure in the doorway. “So this is where you are. Been waiting for you to move out of that hotel.”
“Touya...” Izuku said, looking around. Where was Katsuki? “What do you want. How did you even get in here?”
“Had the proper paper work my mate,” Dabi said with a smirk, showing the paper work that they had signed when they were younger. “They let me walk right in, no questons asked.”
Izuku backed up against the bed, his arms resting around Eri to protect her. He had to. He had to make sure she stayed safe in this.
“Oh...finally became a mommy huh?” Dabi teased with a sickening smirk. “But of yours it isn't yours since you're so useless. Now let's go. We're going home. I'm tired of playing this cat and mouse game. We're going to try again.”
He paused as he leaned in to Izuku, noting the bandage on his neck. He slammed his hand against the wall near his head, sniffing slowly.
“You let him mark you. You sl-”
“The hell you doing here?” came Katsuki's growl.

The Mark to Save Part 2 (A BakuDeku Patreon Exclusive)
“Guess I trapped you...” he mumbled. “Wish I could say you could go for free but ...I can't.”
With shaking hands Izuku reached out and rest his hands on Katuski's cloak covered shoulders, green eyes locking with red.
Just being this close and smelling his scent...looking into the detail of his eyes...
Izuku felt like he was falling.
“Perhaps there is a way that we can both find some happiness in this situation,” Izuku said to him. “To be honest...you'll be pulling myself and my mother out of a bad situation. We were nearly on the streets.”
Katsuki frowned a little at that.
“Well I guess I put out my search just in time,” Katsuki said, hands coming to rest on his hips.
Izuku gave a small smile and his fingers held onto the fur of the cloak.
“I guess...in the end, thank you for saving me,” Izuku said.

A Service to the King Ch. 11 (A SidLink Omegaverse Story)
Chapter 11: Missing
Things have been chaotic since the news had dropped that Yona had laid the egg. She had been cleaned up, the egg being kept in a special basin with warm water near her bedside.
She was resting now after such a hard time and Sidon wanted to wait with her. With Bazz's suggestion to go get some rest himself, the king left his wife in the capable hands of his guard.
It had been hours, the night sky peering down at him. He was ready to take to bed himself but he honestly wanted to talk to Link.
The way that he had acted when he gave him the news had confused him. He had thought he was helping him give this stuff to his wife. He had to expect them to have a child eventually.
But with their sharing of feelings and spending so much time together he could also see why Link might have been acting like that.
Either way he had to find him. He had left the room at some point. He had to be around the Domain somewhere.
The more he thought of it the more he wanted to hold the omega in his arms and tell him it was alright. That they still could have the life that they wanted...well perhaps not wanted, but what they could have together.
Was it perhaps Link thinking that they couldn't have children together? Ethically no, they could not. What would they all think if Link was walking around with child with no alpha in sight and then when the child was born, the child turned out to be a zora?
But perhaps what Link was feeling was jealousy? That he wanted to be in Yona's place baring the child of the Domain, the next heir.
“Oh my Link..” Sidon mumbled to himself as he walked down the hall to the inn. This was the first place he would look. It was late and Link was probably resting after the day.
He just hoped the princess would grant him an audience with him. He knew she was very protective of her knight and her friend after everything they went through.
Sidon slowed outside their room door, hesitating to knock. Link really had a hard life. He was looking for some form of normalcy again. Things had changed.
Link had seen so much, fought so much. Even lost part of himself along the way.
Zelda was no different. Having to fly in the skies as a beast for thousands of years, seeing everything that happened already play again before her eyes.
“Goddess above... “ Sidon sighed. “It is too late to be thinking like this.”
He cleared his throat and he knocked gently on the door. The door was slightly ajar, slowly opening before him.
“Hello?” he called into the room, peering his head into the room. “Link? Princess Zelda?”
The room was dark and he hesitated to step into the room in case they were sleeping. Perhaps he should come back at another time.
But the smell of blood had him pausing.
Flicking on the lights he froze, feeling his heart sink into his stomach.
The room was empty of any people, all their belognings gone as well. The only thing was the standard of their inn room and a single bloody tunic sitting on the bed.
Sidon stepped into the room, picking up the tunic slowly. The blood was Yona's, he could smell it. And there was an underlying scent of Link in there as well.
He had left the tunic behind.
Sadness filled the king as he sat down on the bed, inhaling Link's scent slowly from one part of the tunic that had no blood on it.
He was gone. Link had left is tunic that was tainted and he was gone.
He had just left without saying goodbye, but would have Sidon even given him the time of day with how much he was taking care of his wife?
“Oh Link...Forgive me my love,” he said softly.
*
“Link, are you sure that you want to be alone?” Zelda asked softly. “I really should be here with you. Give you someone to talk to?”
Zelda was fretting. She wanted to protect her best friend. Not knowing what was to come now that she had caught up to her time again. She wanted to protect Link from any more dangers. He had been through so much. He deserved to have a happily ever after.
And yet his life was leaning towards being alone...
“I'll be fine. I just need some time to think,” Link said with a small sigh.
Zelda hesiated a bit and she finally let out a sigh herself, holding the Purah pad to herself that was made for her.
“Well...you know where to find me okay? Please don't hesitate to come back home,” he surged him.
“I won't,” Link promised her. “Just let me know when you're there.”
“I will,” she said, pressing the button for the area that would take her to Hateno Village. Link watched her disappear and he sighed, looking around his home.
He had built this place with his bare hands. It was made with in mind that he wouldn't be alone, sharing it with a certain prince...well now king.
But now it was just an empty reminder of what could have been.
He knew that Zelda had refered to the home he bought in Hateno as his home but since after defeating at least the Calamity, it hadn't felt like home. It wasn't that he didn't think of it that way, it was that Zelda had taken over his home quickly.
He didn't have it in his heart to ask for space so he ended up making this home so he had a place of his own.
Now he wasn't sure if he wanted it any longer.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he sat before the fire and he wiped away the tears that were threatening to come out.
He needed some form of comfort right now and the one that he wanted was back in the Domain catering to his wife that he now had a child with.
The thought brought another pang of pain to his heart and he rubbed his chest, glancing down at his hand when he noticed the ring on his finger.
He had not summoned the shades of his friends in a long time. Not since the end of the battle. Honestly he had even pulled the rings off but one that he kept on his index finger all of the time The special one.
The one that would summon Sidon's fighting spirit to his side. He wasn't in battle but...perhaps he could still use the shadow for at least this moment of comfort.
Flicking his finger out he sumoned the shade, the familiar form tinted blue of him appeared, standing before him, awaiting orders of what to do.
Link still didn't undertand them that much. Sometimes he just thought what they could do what was always helping in some way.
But not being in battle this was much different.
Link stood up, approaching the shade as it stared down at him, it's blank experession making him a little sad as he stared up at him.
“Hold me,” Link said to him.
The Shade opened his arms, crouching down a bit for Link. The blonde didn't hesitate and wrapped his arms around his neck tghtly. The shade was cold against him but it gave him a body to hold onto as his emotions overwhelmed him.
“Sidon,” Link cried softly, hugging himself. Just as the thought passed his brain the shade picked him up, walking him to the closest chair and sat down with Link in his lap.
Link cried harder at that, loving the comfort that he was getting. He just wanted this. He just wanted comfot and love.
At least this would help for a little while.
*
Sidon woke with a start, his hands touching the sheets of his cold empty bed. This was the first time in a long time that he was sleeping alone in his bed chambers. He didn't have a warm omega to curl up next to him.
Sidon had gotten used to sleeping in the bed when he used to sleep in his water all of the time. He had liked sleeping in the bed because Link would curl in close...
Now that was something that wouldn't happen.
He had felt that familiar feeling of his shade being summoned. He could always tell when it was called. It was like a tug on his soul.
During the battles that happened it was always a constant feeling which had Sidon wondering what Link was doing, most likely fighting. There were occasions that Sidon was able to see through the eyes of his shade.
All he had to do was close his eyes and concentrate. But after seeing Link in battle like that had scared him to the point of stopping.
But why was Link summoning a shade now? Was he in danger? Was there a battle wherever he was right now?
Gripping his blanket he closed his eyes, letting out a breath as he relaxed his mind. When he opened his eyes he was no longer in his bed chambers.
Instead he was seeing through the eyes of his shade.
No battle was around them, just a cozy home in front of a fire. He sat in a chair, a warmth in his lap that had him feeling relaxing.
And one quick look down had Sidon pausing. There Link was, curled up on the shade's lap, sleeping softly. Sidon's heart squeezed at the sight of the tear tracks on his face and the mussed up hair.
Link was miserable and it only had been a few days since he had left.
Where even was he? Sidon didn't recognize where he was.
He lifted his hand slowly, caressing Link's cheek slowly and ran a thumb over his soft lips. His eyes widened. He could feel that touch through his shade.
He did wonder if Link could as well.
Tightening his arms around him he bowed his head and closed his eyes again, going back into his own body with a small gasp.
“Oh Link...” he mumbled, reaching under his pillow and pulled out the tunic that Link had left behind, now clena of blood stains that he had carefully removed without taking out Link's scent. It was the only thing he had left aside from the light scent of him on his pillow.
He brought it to his face, inhaling slowly and let out a small sigh. He had to do something. He had to make this right.
He didn't want Link sitting there thinking that there was nothing else he could do.
“I will make this right Link,” Sidon said, determined as he laid back down and held the tunic close to his body again. “I will make you happy...my omega.”
But he wans't his. But why couldn't he be? There was such things as a consort to the king...
But there was the matter of jealousy. He didn't know how Yona or even Link would take to sharing him like this.
This was all so confusing it was giving him a headache.
Shaking his head he rest his head down on a pillow, closing his eyes slowly. This was important. He would figure out a way to be king but also to make Link happy.
He just hoped that he would be able to find him. Zelda was like a guard dog now around him and would not let him out of her sight.
But it was chance he was willing to take.

Sing Me A Melody Ch. 8 (A BakuDeku Omegaverse Au)
Chapter 8: The Real One
“Sorry about this,” Katsuki said, slowly and quietly closing the door to the bedroom that Izuku had been using. “I'm just not sure where else to put her and...I had expected her mother to come back at this point.”
“No, it's alright. She needs a place to sleep. I don't mind,” Izuku said. He was worried however. Her mother was supposed to come back and yet she hadn't. Katsuki just took it upon himself to bring Eri to bed and let her sleep. “I'll take the couch.”
Katsuki rose a brow at him and then moved to him, sliding his arms around him, his red eyes blazing down at him.
They hadn't gotten really a chance to talk about what they were since they had slept together the night before. Now that Eri was asleep it was sort of just hanging in the air, dangling on a string waiting for one of them to grab hold of it.
“Well I was sort of hoping after what had happened last night you would join me in my bed again?” Katsuki asked.
Izuku flushed but a shy smile crossed his face. His brain was screaming at him but it was all dulled out with the want to be in his arms again.
Not necessarily to be intimate but the fact that there was a kind alpha there wanting to be with and was actually happy that he couldn't have pups.
“How can I say no after such a request?” Izuku said with a slight purr in his voice and cupped Katsuki's cheek, peering up into that intense red gaze.
His mind kept picking at him though. This was how Dabi was before things turned sour.
Izuku swallowed, willing his mind to silence itself. Things were different. Katsuki didn't want anymore kids. He had Eri.
“Something on your mind?” Katsuki asked, shifting closer, his nose rubbing against his neck a little bit. “Your scent got a little sour.”
His scent was always a little sour which made it not as enjoyable as Katsuki would have wanted. But that was because he was already mated to someone else, regardless of the circumstances that they had found themselves in.
He could always claim Izuku himself and change that but with hoe fresh their relationship was he really shouldn't be thinking like that.
And that's what had him getting into this situation in the first place with Amako and Eri.
“Just some intrusive thoughts that are hard to shake. Nothing to worry about,” Izuku said to him, waving his hand and breaking the spell a bit that they had been under. He didn't want Katsuki to know that his mind was comparing him to Dabi once again.
Despite he hated his former alpha, was terrified of him and hoped he rotted wherever he was, the man still had a hold over him.
Maybe it was the mark that was on his neck.
His hand came to idly rub against the mark on his neck, rubbing at it a little bit and let out a soft sigh, feeling defeated.
“Can't stop thinking about him?” Katsuki asked.
Izuku flushed and looked up at him.
“How did you know?”
“Same thing happens to me,” he said, pointing to the mating mark on his own neck. “Your mind is always linked to the one that you were mated to.”
Izuku sighed. “Wish there was a way to get rid of it.”
Katsuki flushed and pulled away a bit, swallowing hard. Why did he think marking Izuku now have to rear it's head again.
“There is but...” Katsuki began.
“But...?”
“Then we'd be mated together,” Katsuki said.
Izuku paused at that, swallowing. That was a proven way to remove a bonded mark in the case of seperation aside from death. There was also a surgery to remove such a thing but it was not only expensive but also very painful and the recovery process was extremely long.
“O-oh,” Izuku said, rubbing at the mark on his neck. The idea to him didn't sound super bad. He was honestly liking the time he was pending with Katsuki.
He even felt as if he wanted to follow him. To leave this town behind. It would make things easier on his heart with the feelings he was having for the blonde but it even meant he could just give them songs right away if they asked.
But he didn't know Katsuki fully well. There were things he didn't know about him, his past he didn't know. It wasn't like Izuku was an open book either.
“Yeah...” Katsuki said to him. “I don't really want to scare you off either. I'm liking the time their we're spending togeter. And no, not just the physical part.”
Izuku laughed softly at that causing the blonde to gaze at him confused as they head into the living room to sit on the couch.
“Something funny?” he asked finally.
“It's just...there's nothing you really could do. I came from an abusive alpha who did nearly every trick in the book that should have had me running off,” Izuku said with a forced smile.
“Good point,” the blonde said, leaning back on the couch and turning on the couch. Izuku peered at him and then flushed, climbing onto the blonde's lap, stradling his thighs as he got himself settled, Katsuki's full attention him.
“Izuku?” he asked with a raised brow. “What idea is cooking up in that mind of yours?”
“Let's do it,” Izuku said.
Was the idea stupid? Yes, very. Things could still go south with the blonde. But to him in his mind in that moment anything was better than having that connection with Dabi. If Katsuki bit him then he would never have to think of his ex like he did now.
Hands found purchase on his hips, squeezing softly.
“Are you sure?” Katsuki asked. “After this there really is no going back.”
Izuku swallowed. This was make or break time right now. If he did this he would be Katsuki's mate for the rest of his life, a man he barely knew.
“Yes,” he said, his voice a soft whisper.
The blonde tucked his hand behind his neck, gently petting the skin there as he guided Izuku closer to himself.
“I'll take your pain first?” he asked.
Iuzku's breath hitched again and he whispered a gentle. “okay...”
First Katsuki kissed him. The touch was soft and gentle, relaxing him further against his body in an intimate matter.
Slowly, for the first time in many years, Izuku presented his neck to Katsuki, submitting to the blonde that he sat on.
He didn't really remember the first time he had been bitten. He had remembred at least it was during his first heat with Dabi. The pain had hurt but his brain had been too foggy to comprehend what was going on to his body.
Now he was fully aware.
Lips went from is own to his cheek, taking great care to show as much affection as he trailed closer and closer. He slid from his cheek to his neck, the touch making Izuku quiver a little for other reasons.
His pressed against the previous mark on his gland. The skin was tough, the scar a reminder of what had been.
With little effort Katsuki bit down making a new mark and claiming Izuku as his omega.
“K-Kacchan,” Izuku gasped at that.
He felt it snap. He felt the severing of his bond with Dabi. He let out a whimper of the pain. He had known it so long and to have it ripped off like a band aid hurt.
But he was quickly surrounded by warmth. He shivered a bit at that, feeling his body starting to relax against the alpha holding him.
“What the hell is going on in here,” came Kirishima's voice from the doorway of the hotel room. The blonde let out a small growl around Iuzku's neck, glaring at his friend.
His friend came rushing forward, grasping hold of Izuku and tugged him away from Katsuki, throwing him onto the floor.
Izuku let out a whimper, dazed and clutching his head as it hit the coffee table leg.
“Hey!” Katsuki growled, rushing to his feet to try to get to Izuku when Kirishima grabbed him by the shoulders, shaking his head.
“I told you he was bad news. I told you he was using you and you just fell right into the trap yet again. When will you ever listen!” Kirishima growled back at him.
“Let me go!”
“Don't you realize just what happened?!”
“Yes!”
“Kacchan...” Izuku said, his vision blurring a bit and he clutched the top of his head.
“It's just your hormones man. They're making you think you need to protect him cuz you bit him. I'm keeping you from making the same mistake as before,” Kirishima tried to reason.
“I'm the one who suggested this,” Katsuki said with a deadly venom in his voice. ”Now if you know that's good for you, let me go and let me get to my omega that you harmed. You're lucky I don't take you out right here.”
Sensing the danger he was in Kirishima let go and backed up quickly. Katsuki went right to Izuku, pulling him into his arms.
“Hey, hey,” he said softly as Izuku trembmeld. “It's just me. I got you.”
He looked over his mate, noting the bleeding coming from the top of his head.
“Stay awake for me Izuku,” he said to him. “I need you to stay awake.”
Izuku let out a noise of acknowledgement, his green eyes peering up at him.
“There he is. Come on, we gotta bring you to the hopsital,” he urged.
Izuku shook his head. “No, it's fine. I'll be okay.”
“Izuku, I insist,” Katsuki said, their eyes locking and Izuku felt that bond. “I just want to make sure you're okay.”
“But Eri-”
“We'll have to bring her with us,” Katsuki said sadly.
“I'll drive,” Kirishima offered. The blonde glared but what other choice did he have? They had to go inognitio at this rate.
“Well I would hope so considering this is your fault,” Katsuki growled at him. His growl ceased quickly when he heard the door open to the extra room.
“Daddy...? I heard shouting,” came Eri's voice. Katsuki wasn't sure what to do. He needed to comfort his daughter of course but he also had Izuku tucked in his arms.
“It's okay,” Izuku said softly. “I'll be okay, go to her.”
Katsuki smiled and gently kissed his head, slowly settling Izuku on the couch and went to his daughter who looked scared.
He picked her up and held her close.
“It's okay princess. Just a big misunderstanding between Uncle Kiri and I.”
Eri looked at the redhead. “Hi Uncle Kiri..”
“Hey Eri bug,” he said to her, reaching for the young girl but stopped when Katsuki gave him a warning glare.
“Let's get dressed. We need to bring Izuku to the doctor,” Katsuki said.

A Service to the King ch. 10 (A Sidlink Omegaverse Story)
Chapter 10: Hurt
Link ran down the halls breathing heavily as he fought to get his vision to clear. Tears were pooling in them, even leaking down his cheeks.
Everything was coming to a head for him.
He was in love with a mated man. A king. One that was expected to do certain things with who they chose. Sidon never really had a say in much despite Link felt like he could go against everything like that.
Wouldn't they want royalty to be happy?
But Link was just a Hylian. An omegan male which was also rare and often looked down upon. Not to mention his “weird” appendage of his arm.
Ever since this last battle people had been tip toing around him and Zelda. As if they were avoiding them unless they spoke first.
Link could have looked past all that. Just ignored everyhing. Sidon saw him for who he really was and he loved him.
But now this he couldn't look past. Sure it was partially his fault. He was giving Yona the stuff to be able to have a child. He just never thought it would happen so quickly.
It had only been a few weeks. Maybe he should look up Zora gestation periods when it came to children. He only really knew at least his own hylian anatomy.
But Yona and Sidon were expecting a child. Their egg was proof of that. He wasn't sure how long till it hatched but still, Sidon was a father.
To someone else's child.
It hurt deep within him. His omega howled in pain at the thought of their alpha having a child with someone else.
But Link had to remind himself Sidon wasn't his alpha. Sidon was an alpha mated to someone else as well. He was never his to begin with.
These thoughts just kept brewing over and over in his head as he ran to the throne room, the pain in his heart and mind just getting worse and worse.
He would deliver the news and then he would find Zelda and get out of there. He couldn't stand another moment there in this place.
And if he could he would say goodybe to Sidon and diappear from his life. Let him have the life that was expected of him. One where Link hoped he would still be able to find some form of happiness in this whole thing.
He stopped short just outside the throne room to catch his breath, bracing his hand against the wall and inhaled.
The tears by now were leaking down his chees and he did his best to wipe them away, only getting some blood on his face in the process.
“Calm down,” Link said. “You have to do this.”
It took a few moments but eventually he got himself up, forcing the tears to stop. Unforunately he was getting pretty good at that.
Going through not just one, but two crisis he had to teach his body to hold onto emotion for as long as he could.
He could always let it out later. Clearly not the healthiest thing to do. And to him this situation was no different.
His omega was treating it as a if it was a crisis.
Adjusting his bloodied tunic he head into the throne room, the guards looking startled by Link's state as he approached the king.
Sidon was speaking with someone but stopped immediately upon seeing Link.
“Link!” he gasped, rushing forward. His hands grabbed his shoulders, worry filling that golden gaze that Link had fallen in love with.
But he had to refrain from letting himself fall into an embrace. Espeically with so many others watching them.
“Are you hurt? What happened? Goodness, you're covered in so much blood,” Sidon said, looking over Link for any sign of injury.
“Your majesty, I'm fine,” Link said, grabbing his hands and stopped him, holding them away from himself.
“Your majesty?” Sidon asked softly, hurt filling his gaze. “Link, I-”
“King Sidon, I am here with an announcement.”
“Yes, of course, but why would you be so form-”
“It is about Queen Yona.”
Hearing that the other zoras approached, scared of what was to come out of Link's mouth. They were thinking the worst given how much blood was on him.
“Is she alright?” one guard asked.
“She is fine,” Link said, looking up at Sidon, his eyes hardening a bit. “She has just given birth to her egg. Your queen is asking for you.”
The other zoras gasped and then cheers were coming, congratulating Sidon. But the king stared down at Link confused and a little hurt.
“Why are you covered in so much blood?” Sidon asked softly.
“I helped her deliver it,” Link said, never once smiling despite the happy news for the royal zoran family.
Sidon could see his pain that it caused him.
Realizing then that they weren't privately sharing this news Sidon turned to the other zoras, putting on a large smile.
“This is wonderful news,” Sidon declared, gaining cheers of agreement. “Please, someone alert my father while I go see to my wife.”
Sidon turned back to Link with a small nod.
“Please guide me to my queen,” he said.
Link gave a curt nod of his own and remained silent as he walked Sidon back to Yona's bed chambers were a group had formed outside the door.
The news was traveling fast that the queen had elivered her egg.
“Make way for his majesty,” one guard stated, the group parting to allow Link and Sidon through into the bed chambers.
Bazz was still there but he remained off to the side but it did not refrain him from staring at Yona oddly but with happiness.
The healers were around her, having set her up with fresh bed sheets and were making sure that she was alright.
The egg was resting in her arms, wrapped up in the same wet blankets that Link had given her before to put the egg in to keep it moist.
“Yona,” Sidon said to her as he stepped into the room, the healers moving out of his way so that he may kneel next to the bed.
“My Sidon,” she said. Those words alone just stabbed Link in the heart, rubbing his arm a bit out of habit.
Sidon knelt next to the bed, taking one of her hands in his own and kissed the back of it.
“Are you alright? Are you hurt?” he asked.
Hadn't he just showed that tenderness to him before?
“I am fine and our egg is fine,” she said to him, squeezing his hand that he held. “It was thanks to Link for being there at the right time to help.”
All eyes turned on him and he gave a sheepsh smile. “It was nothing really. I'm here to help in any way that I can.”
Bazz stepped forward and he handed Link another towel. He wiped up the blood off of himself as best as he could as they returned their attention to the queen.
After a few moments Bazz cleared his throat to get Link's attention. The blonde stared up at him with a raised brow.
“I know how you feel,” Bazz said quietly so that no one else would hear.
“Feel? Whatever could you mean?” Link asked, setting the towel down.
“Let's just say I know it's not easy seeing the one you love have a child with someone else,” Bazz said softly.
Link's eyes widened.
“You and S-”
“No,” Bazz said with a small laugh. “Yona...”
“O-oh,” Link said and his small smile faded. “...does it ever get any easier?”
“Not really,” Bazz sighed. “But we do what we can. In the end it has to be them.”
Link felt that pang again and he swallowed, looking up at Sidon. His attention was fully on the queen and the egg.
“Right...” Link said quietly.
He watched a few moments and then excused himself. Sidon looked happy. That was supposed to be where he was meant to be.
Next to Yona's side.

Zelda found Link back in the inn packing his bags but covered in blood. He looked disstresed and upset. She had heard what had happened.
“Link,” she said softly, avoiding the item floating with his own hand.
He turned quikly, dropping the item with a loud thud. He had tears running down his cheeks, his hair a mess.
He looked terrible.
“Zelda I...” he said to her and then fell to hs knees. “Forgive me....can we...can we go today? Right now? I don't think I can say goodbye.”
Her eyes softened and she knelt next to the hero, resting a hand on his cheek.
“If that's what you want. I'll pack up my things too,” she said softly. “You, however, should take a quick bath. If we want to be discreet we need to leave without you smelling of the queen in such a way.”
Link looked down at his ruined clothes and nodded.
Zelda made sure he used the bath behind the curtain in the room to wash up, setting out clothes for him and packed up the rest of her things as well as Link's.
When he emerged dressed he looked exhausted and about ready to cry again.
“Link, it's okay to feel these emotions,” she tried to tell him. “I know you hold things in, but it isn't healthy for you.”
“I know,” Link said, his voice horase. “But I can't let him see me like this. He looked so happy with her. I can't make him feel guilty.”
Zelda let out a small sigh and pulled her best friend into a hug, petting his hair much like a mother would do for their child.
“It's alright. I've left word with the inn keeper that we were taking out leave. No one will know we are gone until we are long gone,” she told him.
“Thank you...” Link said quietly.
She squeezed him and then handed him his bag. “Let's go home.”
“Right...” he said, holding the strap. She followed Zelda out of the room, leaving the ruined tunic on the bed.
