Thanks for the mention. Regarding the whole AA debate, I'd also recommend another 3-part essay where I go even deeper into the issue (also regarding the Jon forshadowing, which really isn't that strong but rather a very clever misdirection by GRRM when you read the text attentively).

I think that AA and TPTW refer to the same person. I present my reasons why I think Dany is AA and why that is actually not a good thing! Prophecy is a very slippery thing in GRRM's hands and they should NEVER be taken at face value (which a lot of fans do because of genre expectations)!

Also, It is my firm theory that the Last Hero of the Northern legends was Brandon the Builder, the father of House Stark and the builder of both the Wall and Winterfell. (And little Bran Stark is repeating his journey and that this is a hint that Bran will be super important when it comes to defeating the WW)

Mel mentions whoever the Prince that is Promised will bring the dawn, and Dany questions it since she’s not a prince, after Missandei says the word has no gender so it could still be Dany. Do you think the writers were implying it was Dany that was the princess that was promised, and do you think Martin will change that and it will be Jon in the books since his foreshadowing is a little bit stronger?

Mel is probably wrong and Targs are usually wrong as well. Prophecies are deceiving, that's the point that GRRM is trying to make.

Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is a fantasy series by Tad Williams that inspired GRRM to write Asoiaf. In summary and avoiding spoilers, in that series the heroes think that finding "3 objects" will help them to defeat a greater enemy, but lets say that that didn't end that well . . . .

So, back in Asoiaf, the prophecies about the Prince that was promised and/or Azhor Ahai (are they the same?) being a super special great hero that will defeat the dark and cold won't end that well either, because maybe those are no heroes at all, but another greater enemy against humanity.

In the past, the First Men didn't need a foreing hero or dragons, they were 12 men and their normal pets, and they even got the help of the Children of the Forest and they prevailed against the Long Night, and that's precisely the point, the humanity united against greater enemies and prevailing by fighting together.

i dont think otto and daemon had an actual serious relationship but i do think that as a part of daemon's pyschosexual fixation on his brother he drunkenly hit on otto and when otto reacted homophobically daemon got offended because?? wym you dont want to fuck me im literally daemon targaryen?? and otto was like. im not a filthy degenerate (same tone as 'or you, her childhood companion'). and daemon was like. clearly. whatever loser im too cool and hot for you and then went to his chambers and stared at the wall for twenty hours. the next day he met mysaria.

the worst thing that could possibly happen to ao3 is it being put on the app store so please stop asking for it because you don't understand what would happen if that went through. ao3's whole deal is it archives EVERYTHING, while the apple app store's whole deal is keeping everything clean and safe. so if ao3 were to have an app all of the 'bad' stuff, including nsfw in general, would have to be censored at best or would be purged at worse. the google play store is more lax but who fucking knows what GOOGLE would police if they got their hands on the archive. do not ask for an app. do not use third party apps. it's on mobile browser functioning perfectly, just fucking use that before you ruin everything for everyone please.
