i was watching the new episode of bfu yesterday, and i can just imagine ts unsolved roman being like “i don’t have anything of value, but mr money bags over there... steal his snake” and dee just goes “dON’T STEAL MY FUCKIN SNAKE” and it’s the funniest thing to me right now

((ah,,,, yeah, i’d say it’s on a hiatus of sorts. 😭 i’m really bummed to admit it since i really wanted to get to the end of this chapter at least, but it’s been really hard to find the motivation to keep going.

ROMAN: To say that everything is ruined would be the biggest understatement of the century. The others must be so worried but I don’t even know what to say to them because- because it’s my fault Dee quit. He’ll never want to talk with us again and the show will be over and I’ll never-

ROMAN: [Sniffs] ...Nevermind, my regrets stop there. It’s silly to pretend that there’s anything else to be sorry about because there’s not. I always knew Dee thought of me as nothing more than a pest so really this shouldn’t be a surprise.

Hi!! I found this blog yesterday and finally just finished going through it all. I love this au so much!!! Your art is really good, and I like how you're writing them all (they're in character but also I can imagine their (excluding recent) convos as shane and ryan really easily so it's a cool mix of universes). It's so impressive to me how you've developed all the characters and have backstories and plots and subplots and wove it all together into an ask blog! (1/2)

How's Patton with the whole 'oh no they know about the ghosts. They might try to find more spirits. They might get hurt. OH NO' thing

LOGAN: I’ve yet to see any solid evidence that I have been proven wrong, so frankly this is not ‘living in my head rent free’. Besides, Roman claims ‘ghost’ whenever an appliance so much as malfunctions, which makes this turn of events completely unsurprising. As for Dee… Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn’t somewhat disappointed. However I am also concerned; it’s definitely out of character of him to quit so unexpectedly.

VIRGIL: ...I don’t really know what to think. I don’t think Ro is lying, but all of this feels so random. I just want Dee to come back already. If it’s true that there really was nothing there, I want to hear him say it.

PATTON: [Shrugs half-heartedly]

What does Virgil mean, “pattern”? I don’t remember the Elliot situation including something to do with Virgil thinking Dee didn’t care that much about something important.... did I miss something?

((i guess it is pretty subtext because we didn’t get to see much of the elliott situation from virgil’s perspective! here’s his Take:

he feels somewhat bitter about that time in his life because dee and elliott were his first friends, but after they reconnected in high school they would often leave him out (to keep him safe), which made him feel forgotten about. and then when elliott died, dee became pretty distant and wouldn’t really talk about it with anyone. and then virgil witnessed him falling out with remus and completely turning his back on him, even when remus was clearly struggling.

so yeah, while he forgave him for a lot of things, in his eyes dee does appear to have a pattern of being flakey with his friends. hope that clears things up!))

LOGAN: This isn’t exactly ideal, however I’m certain it will all be resolved after everything is given the chance to settle. This isn’t the first time those two have had a spat and interrupted our workflow, after all.

VIRGIL: I dunno about that, it’s never felt this serious. [Groans as his phone goes through to voicemail again] It’d help if Dee would pick up already and tell us what the hell happened.

PATTON: His phone could be dead. The last chance we got to charge them was yesterday, and it’s been a while since then… But if he got a taxi like I said, it’s kinda weird that he’s not back yet anyway.

VIRGIL: Oh fuck, don’t say that. What if he’s planning on going M.I.A?

PATTON: Well- he wouldn’t just leave when Teeny is still in your care-

VIRGIL: But he’d have no problem leaving us, right? From the sounds of it, none of this meant that much to him. [Mutters] I think I’m starting to see a pattern.

LOGAN: ... Ahem. Like I said earlier, we should wait before making any assumptions, since the version of events we currently have is somewhat... unreliable.

I have just found this blog and it sounds super interesting but I'm totally lost in where to start.... Which tag do I have to look into to see the episodes or encounters with ghost? Are all of those in the masterlist? Should I just go clicking the links on the masterlist and that's it? Is the masterlist in chronological order? Help

((i might be misunderstanding what you’re asking, but any episodes that are referenced (barring the carther asylum one which i made up for the current chapter) can be found on the buzzfeed unsolved youtube channel, though technically it’s not important to have watched them because what happens in the bfu episodes isn’t relevant to the plot.

you can read the masterlist if you want to get up to speed quickly, because it is in chronological order and all the relevant links are there, but you could also just use the chrono link for the ‘answered’ tag and you’ll be able to read the whole story that way.
