What are our views on the cummerbund?

... the rather fruity cummerbund I had bought six months ago and had never had the nerve to put on. One of those silk contrivances, you know, which you tie round your waist instead of a waistcoat, something on the order of a sash only more substantial. I had never been able to muster up the courage to put it on so far, for I knew that there would be trouble with Jeeves when I did, it being a pretty brightish scarlet.

#here's the thing #if you consider the colors of things that jeeves disapproves of #it becomes increasingly apparent that bertie must have red hair probably more orange than auburn #which lends me to believe that we need to imagine like a 6' tall orange haired freckle faced guy in a shock red cummerbund #that makes him look like a human torch especially if he puts it with those yellow shoes (which are okay with other colors) #bertie shows up in that pink tie and looks like some kind of weird gingerbread man #and jeeves is like no sir they're going to think i can't dress you #that kind of thing #poll talk #jeeves and wooster

Living for the fact Bertie keeps telling us he'd really rather not with the women

It's also interesting how Bertie giving up fashion disasters as apologies is becoming routine now

I like how Jeeves absence in scheme making during the bulk of the story is revealed at the end since he figured out who the Hemingway siblings were and just kind of let it play out from there and intercepted Bertie's money on the way out
