I'm watching Second 20s on Netflix.
I hope No Ra dumps both the male leads and follows her own path. She needs neither of those jerks.

OCN Search's pre-climax episodes are mired by an awful screenplay.
In Ep. 9 the target was standing right in front of them. Krystal's character had absolutely no reaction and just followed her Captain's orders to go up. No matter what her training taught her, she is supposed to show some kind of reaction. Most importantly when they have just discovered that the target could be Sergeant Yong's father. If that's not the case, do the writer's expect us to believe that Lieutenant Song didn't recognize the target? No way!! She recognized Sergeant Yong's mother from a photograph in video!

Oh God! Is it Oh Jin Pyo?? The truth isn't revealed yet, but I have a bad feeling about this. Da Hui's lipstick was found in Jun Seok's room, so she must've been there at some point.
So was it Jun Seok's father? He just doesn't seem like that kind of guy! Ugghh.. it's so frustrating!

I was right, Yoo Jeong Seok didn't kill Jang Jin Su. Yoo Jeong Seok must've had his own suspicions considering how he had asked that question, "Why would I bury bodies at two different places?" He just didn't argue the possibility because he did attack Jang Jin Su. And the cops simply covered it up. Also, given how important it was for him bring Oh Jeong Tae to justice he just didn't care anymore.
This still doesn't make him a hero though. Yes, it was unfair how Nam Guk Hyeon tried to get away with what he did. But, I will never forget that Yoo Jeong Seok was the one who made sure Lee Dae Cheol's execution was ordered. He actively manipulated things at the retrial.
All, I can say is that I'm glad his conscience or whatever it was finally spoke up and he framed Oh Jeong Tae for murder. Oh Jeong Tae had to pay in some way for what he did to Yoon Ji Sun and Lee Dae Cheol.
Also, I hope Nam Guk Hyeon is imprisoned. I want to him to suffer behind bars forever waiting for his death sentence to be executed.

I'm so frustrated by Jin Seo Kyung's behavior (devotion) towards Yoo Jeong Seok.
His manipulation led to a young girl losing her father. So what if he confessed through the article? He can't still be held on a high ground because of that. We give humanity such little credit that we have set the bar so low for what is expected of a human. He was just a selfish jerk who tried to get away with murder for as long as he could. Seeing how he is willing to pay for his crimes now, I guess killing Lee Dae Cheol was the last straw for him too.

The list is so good but why would you recommend He is Psychometric. Ugh, all that pain!
(Objectively speaking, the pairing was so on point. No wonder it's on this list.)
Recommendations for a kdrama where the grumpy one is soft for the sunshine one? I have already seen School 2017, Touch Your Heart, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Laughter in Waikiki, Reply 1997, Secretary Kim, Suspicious Partners, and Weightlifting Fairy.
K-dramas where the Grumpy/Cold Lead falls for Light-hearted/Sunshine Lead
*Just a minor note that most grumps stop being grumps by episode 4-8 but I’m counting them anyways cause it’s such a cute enemies to lovers pairing.
Angel’s Last Mission: A kind-hearted and adorable angel falls in love with The World’s Biggest Grump. Get your tissues ready.
A Poem A Day: Sweet little K-drama about physical therapists. The leading lady is literal sunshine, and she’s crushing on a very quiet and serious co-worker. Beware of the really lame love triangle, but look forward to the sweetest second couple ship.
Tumblr media
Her Private Life: If you liked Touch Your Heart and Secretary Kim, you’ll love this rom com about a fan girl museum curator and her super uptight boss.
The Secret Life Of My Secretary: This is kind of a medium grump level. The chief of a tech company has a past of betrayal and a Really Mean K-Drama Mom so he doesn’t trust anyone. His secretary and him are paired up for reasons and they are such Adorable Dummies.
30 But Seventeen: Two trauma babies paired up from an accident end up living together (YAY!). The guy is super introverted and filled with self-hatred, while everyone around him is literal sunshine! I highly recommend this one. It’s got found family and just a lot of sweet.
Age Of Youth: This drama is awesome and has a lot of different plots other than grumpies shipped with sunshines, but there are two little ships: one with a free-sprited smol boi who likes a real serious and shy tomboy (I loved her style though and wished they hadn’t ever put her in a skirt. just saying.), and one with a Super Free-Spirited Pathological Liar who likes a boy at her school.
Tumblr media
Flower Boy Next Door: An agoraphobic and super introverted lady meets the silliest, quirkiest and most extroverted boy. Yoon Shi Yoon at his finest.
He is Psychometric: The leading couple isn’t really the grumpy sunshine pair but Sung Mo is a super grumpster and Ji Soo is his sunshine. #SOBS
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo: This is tragic and I don’t recommend unless you want to be left in a devastated puddle but doesn’t everyone think Wang So and Heo Soo are a grump and sunshine pairing (even though there isn’t a lot of room for sunshine)?
Introverted Boss: IMO this romance was a bit of a mess but it had some really cute moments. The boss is an introvert who doesn’t like being around people and meets a girl who helps him come out of his shell.
The Master’s Sun: The CEO of a fancy mall is being followed around by a girl who can see ghosts. He is very grumpy and she is literally ‘His Sun.’ :) Even though she is plagued by ghosts, she manages to be light and cute towards mister chaebol.

The Good Detective, Ep 15
I would really love to understand what it means to "not be a bad person".
Jin Seo Kyung keeps saying that her boss isn't a bad person.
I get that she is heartbroken for being partly responsible for destroying her mentor, someone she admires. But even her drunk "he isn't a bad person" doesn't actually make sense.
I mean he killed the vermin (still understandable), intended to kill Detective Jang Jin Su (I feel like Captain Nam still has something to do with his death) and then manipulated the circumstances to execute an innocent man. What more should he do to be a bad person.?
Human emotions are complicated!
I feel like the writers are trying to make him the martyr or something. But the fact that he killed two people (?) and then led to Lee Dae Cheol's death outweighs everything else.

Kang Gwon Ju and Do Kang Woo had such freaking good chemistry but all of it went down the drain in Voice 3. We barely got to see them work together.
Such a waste!!

Yeah, right! The key to catching the evil murderer is to disband the one team that knows the most about him. Wonderful! Either the VVIPs of the Dark Web Auction Site are trying to prevent them from catching the Master or the writer just made the entire Korean Police Top Management look dumb!
Well, the fact that too many people, specially the team leader is hurt. So it calls for a break. But disbanding the team as damage control?? That's just stupid!

Voice 2 - Why couldn't the Police find out details about Bang Je Su, when he was operating right under their noses?
If you have seen the culprit around a building where his previous victim lived, shouldn't you at least do a preliminary inquiry about the residents in the building. She is an anomaly, right? The only victim who had nothing to do with the force. So, isn't it possible that the anomaly had a reason and it could've been personal? Also, wasn't that building Captain Na's last location?
Now if this isn't a plot hole to drag the show, I don't know what it is.

That Ajhumma named Da Jung(?) probably needs help. I mean, some soldiers died at their own HQ. So doesn't that mean that the situation is too dangerous to involve the civilians in the village? Does she miss being in the field so much that she is endangering the villagers now?
And shouldn't she be ensuring her own child's safety first if someone dangerous is roaming around?

Yeonjae, visting Dongjae in the hospital: Get better soon. You should walk around all dressed up like before.
Yeonjae: Because we are the only stylish people here and you can’t leave me alone with all of these walking fashion disasters.
Yeonjae: Don’t get me wrong, I’m an 11 and you’re like at best a 6. You don’t even come close to having my poise and perfection.
Yeonjae, leaning closer to Dongjae: But everyone else around us is a 2. You can’t die and leave me alone in an ocean of 2’s, Prosecutor Seo.

Neither Ji Seon Woo nor Lee Tae Ho deserve Jun Yeong. I mean all Ji Seon Woo had to do was let Lee Tae Ho go.
I know Da Kyung and Tae Ho may be constantly bugging her. But, Da Kyung right up offered Jun Yeong to her. (At least, legally that was possible. No one can ever stop Tae Ho from being Jun Yeong's father anyway.) So why did Seon Woo go ahead and say all that to Da Kyung? Why did she destroy Lee Tae Ho again? Did she really think he will become powerless enough to stay away from her or their son?
If she knew so much about Lee Tae Ho, then how did she expect him to learn a lesson? I can't help but believe that her obsession with him is just as real is his obsession for her.
Poor kid. He really doesn't deserve such horrible parents.
