feels weird that FGO as an entity is kinda being drowned out by other things. like i think the good story beats and stuff of FGO are good but the game itself has nothing going for it outside of that and just isnt interesting. its just a little sad seeing something that i like, thats such a big part of my mental space, be treated like nothing special by its own creators. the core gameplay is missing a lot of hands on feel to it despite forcing us to play through free quests and farming nodes manually. like i feel a game being fully auto is bad but there is no benefit to me seeing the same animations forty million times because i wanna get bond or materials. story fights and stuff? sure let it be manual but farming and the rest let us skip or repeat successful runs
