I've taken the plunge and made another Magic deck, which of course means I had to draw some more art for my commander card again.

I've been using these commander card drawings as chances to try out some style studies and experiment with different techniques. For this one specifically I was trying to emulate Masamune Shirow and his specific approach to anatomy as well as his love for sinewy sweaty girls. I think she turned out pretty good, if you squint you could possibly mistake it for a genuine Masamune Shirow piece.

A goofy little pinup inspired by a trip to the states. I saw this sign at a local bbq joint and decided to go to town.

It's also a bit of style study, I was trying to copy the techniques of Kajin Man, since I think he's so good at that kind of sunny beachy pinup.

I finally got around to making another tarot card. I feel like I say that exact line every time I have a new one to show. I'm a very busy on the go person. Either way though I'm really closing in on having all the major arcana done, I'm really looking forward to it.

Something a bit different here. Several of my friends at my local game store are quite obsessed with the new Disney card game Lorcana. From them I learned that there's a pretty rare and sought after Elsa card that people are chasing after. I've made a decent amount of magic cards for my myself at this point so I thought I'd be a bit of a scamp and draft up a custom Elsa card so I could pretend I'd made some amazing pull.

My goal was to try and have her look convincing enough that the card would deceive someone at first glance. Unfortunately I fear I'm a little too inexperienced trying to copy the Disney style, so I'm not sure if it's a close enough simulacrum to pull off that prank, but I do think it turned out pretty good.
