Distraction

I was seeking distraction just as I was passing through the different lanes of different towns, the National highways taking me to different states, peeking out of the window looking at how different lives people lived separated merely by a few miles,

And I smiled as I gradually lost myself in your thoughts, in a matter of seconds found myself immersed completely, becoming oblivious to the changing landscapes and the miles I covered, it was like a hangover left after the intoxication that your presence caused, your thoughts and our memories were the two drugs keeping me alive amidst chaos, making me feel alive in the monotonous symphony of life, allowing me to seek escape everytime.

Indecision

Indecision has clouded the mind

That it's hard to comprehend what's really up with life

Every moment is laden with confusion

And I'm out of answers for the emerging questions

What's coming up tomorrow is no longer just a mystery

It has now turned to be the greatest reason for anxiety

And people say it's just a phase

That it would pass, leaving only happy place

But could that justify its complexities that were abounding

Isn’t it an emotion that’s confounding?

Isn’t it the reason behind existence?

To love and be loved without conditions

Isn’t it the divine law that governs every creation

Beautiful, inexplicably beyond imagination

Has love not the enormous strength

To make one go to any length

It is eternal and mystifying

An attempt to comprehend it would be unsatisfying

Alive!!

And there where peace abounds, in the heart of the nature I lost myself and felt alive.

Loosing myself and feeling every wave of the soothing wind, swaying with its motion, I felt alive.

Feeling the ground beneath and the music of the leaves as I treaded slowly, relishing the nature's beauty, I felt alive.

Capturing the boundless liveliness, I felt alive.

Willing to take up the risks of exploring the unknown and running into the treasure trove of the finest that nature offers, I felt alive.

Feeling the touch of the leaves, the moisture that dew left, I felt alive.

With every breath I took in and every heartbeat I felt under the open sky, I felt alive.

With the picturesque sight of the sun playfully hiding behind the mountains and the clouds, I felt alive.

Left with the longing to stay in the calm, away from the world's chaos, forever feeling this alive.

There was no corner in the whole house or any of its part

That could provide a refuge to her broken heart

Where she could give voice to her hushed sob

And get some peace which had been robbed

She never actually missed that house whenever away

Instead she could breathe free and live happy anyway

She wondered why people would miss 'home' while staying at hostel

She couldn't ever anticipate joy of visiting home at any festival

It was back then that I couldn't realize

Why everything changed everytime I looked into your eyes

I would answer that it was the love that left me surprised

How each one of us feels the same way
