It wasn’t his fault that this Professor Xavier character liked to dress his students–his students! the shock! the horror! the scandal!–in tight leathers, or that hers in particular had these adorable little pink stripes going up their sides. She looked like those old candies he remembered from earth, the dark wrapping hinting at the fruity filling inside.

Now if these wolfman wannabe would stop looking at him like he wanted to place his severed head on a pike outside his castle wall because he was that medieval Peter would be golden.

Or at the very least, he could eye the woman’s leather-encased backside in relatively piece and without worry of his limbs being hacked off.

He was too busy trying to locate the zipper of her uniform to notice what Kitty Pryde was up until she gave a solid tug on–on something and out spilled colorful wires into her palms like the intensies of a some dude she had gut with a knife.

“Whoa! Whoa!” He leaped to his feet. “What are you doing?”

Kitty cast a look up at him over her shoulder, bottom lip caught between her teeth. It was adorable, she was adorable, she always had the wires of his ship in her hand.

“Just having a look-see.”

“Having a look-see? You don’t just–you can’t just have a look-see at my ship.”

Wolfman was laughing at him. Wonderful.

“Stop pulling on my wires!”

From hallway just behind the galley’s door, Drax called in, “Is that a metaphor?” Gamora was trying to coach him through the intricate world of double-meanings, but all Drax had learned to do was ask for clarify if he should take things literally or not.

“No! No! That is definitely not a metaphor!”

“Weeeeeeeell,” Kitty said sweetly, “it could be.”

-Three months later Kitty finds out she’s pregnant

-Peter starts freaking out till Gamora knocks him out

-Peter coming to and sees Kitty smiling lightly at him.

-Peter actually being really panicky and paranoid over Kitty’s pregnancy

-”Why the fuck is your stomach getting bigger?!” “Peter, that’s the baby growing.”
