I hope these weirdos leave you alone soon... It's so pathetic how they clearly see this as an opportunity to bully you and feel superior...🤦‍♀️

Can I ask for anime recs that is full of bromance? Like SK8 and Free...Or just anime/manga with dyynamics : male mc and male lead or female mc and female lead. So no m/f dynamics. Thanks 🌷
Bro, that's just every sports anime ever. Literally just pick any sports anime in history and it'll have bromance.
If you want spicy M/M bromance regardless of the animanga genre, just pick any shounen ever and you'll be well-fed.
Sadly, it's way harder to find good W/W, so I'd recommend just going to the yuri category for that one.

whether you meant to be or not, whether you say you're judging or not, your post WAS very judgmental and unkind. honestly, i'm not saying you're a terrible person, but you could at least admit what you did was unkind and unnecessary. it's also really disheartening seeing people in the tags now anxious because your post has convinced them that this is a widespread boundary people secretly have when it was really just one extremely traumatized person communicating a boundary clearly. it's okay that you messed up but you DID mess up here, and i do hope you're able to learn from it.
That's entirely subjective, Anon. I don't get why asking a question about a topic that I'm concerned about is unkind or unnecessary.
My post wasn't about convincing anyone of anything. I just wanted to know whether something was a trend or not. Again, it was a question, not a statement, followed by my two cents in case the answer was yes. Couldn't be more simple. Not to mention I never thought it would go viral in the first place. I don't even know how it blew up like that.
There's always gonna be some people who will get the wrong idea about posts. That's innevitable not just on Tumblr but on any platform. You yourself also got the wrong idea. What you're stating is just completely out of proportion and has nothing to do with what I said.
I really don't see the need to exaggerate so much and call this a "mess-up", as if the post has left any kind of lasting impact whatsoever or even remotely inconvenienced anyone. It really ain't that deep.

Honestly I still don't get it, why "set" boundaries that you can't enforce? Following is supposed to be fully in the hands of the follower, it is a way to have content you enjoy cross your dash more often, it only ever affects you, that's why no platform has a mechanism where an account with public posts can approve followers. You can private your content, you can block followers you don't know, you can disable anon asks, but people are still objectively free to follow any public blog they can see and there's no actual way to restrict that so idk why it's an issue.
Sorry, Anon, but I'll have to disagree with that take! Following is supposed to be in the hands of the blogger, in my opinion. It's your online space, so you're the one to choose how much interaction you want or don't want.

I am not shameless enough to eat your food without doing anything in return. I am the Wise Wolf Holo, an honorable wolf! By the way. It is quite cramped with the two of us sitting here. Hey, now… Wha?! Hey! Hey! Don’t get too close! A male should be happy to be touched by me. No, not really… Oh? It seems you are embarrassed… - Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf - Episode 1

I went back and read the post you wrote and since it looks like you were just asking a question (is people thinking you need to know someone before you follow part of a larger culture these days) I wanted to provide an answer. No, at least not from my experience. From where I stand, it seems to just be one blog who has that preference. I'm just one user, though, so maybe it's not like that on other parts of this site. This isn't meant to be read as snarky or passive aggressive, I just think the convo has been getting farther away from the question you posed and I wanted to at least get back to that
By the looks of it, the OP was just an outlier, but there are actually other people (who in this case don't seem to understand that Tumblr is different from other platforms) taking similar stances.

tbh, the thing i don't get about that person, is that if you really don't want people to follow you, you can just... make the blog private? or make it so you don't show up in tags/searches?
like. if you're posting in tags, you are going to get followed. so instead of saying that people can't follow, which is a thing people might not even read, why don't you just make your blog inaccessible??
Apparently, making the blog innaccessible isn't exactly what the OP wants. I think the Anon who suggested making the blog password-locked had the best idea. From what I understand, this doesn't make posts non-interactable. I might be wrong, though!
