Part of being zero waste means fixing your own shit, so today I learned something new and fixed the screen on my #iPhone 5c, ensuring it stays out of the landfill. Very excited to announce that the new album from Howie Day is now out on iTunes! I contributed lots of spicy keys, vocals, and even two co-writing credits to the album, including the title track "Lanterns" (and the song "Anyone" co-written with my buddy Sam Bisbee. First compost drop off in my new neighborhood! Pro tip: I put my scraps (minus the ones I can use for making stock of course 🍲) in a stainless steel canister on the kitchen counter which then gets transferred nightly to a brown paper bag in the freezer. No smell, no mess. Then you drop the whole bag in the community compost instead of having an icky plastic bag to throw away.
