This is the current state of Gaza tonight.
Communication and internet have been cut off. Palestinians have resorted to communication through mosque speakers to express their fear and pleas for help.
Why are world leaders continuing to turn a blind eye and permitting this blatant genocide?
I cannot fathom that no nation is willing to interject and save the Palestinian people from this literal nightmare.

We are witnessing a literal genocide taking place:
Western media and rhetoric coupled with the destructive Zionist ideology, has dehumanised Arabs to a point where no nation is willing to condemn the vile acts being perpetrated by Netanyahu.
Israel is an apartheid and settler colonial state that seeks to completely obliterate Arabs.
The irony is not lost on me that the people who were thrown into prisons and gassed in chambers have shoved 2 million people into a single city, controlled their every action and carpet bomb them indiscriminately.
Shame on Israel and anyone else who supports their vile regime.

13/5/22 during the funeral of the martyr Shireen Abu Aqleh today who was murdered by the israeli occupation in Jenin for exposing the truth in Palestine.

The murder of Shireen Abu Akleh is so profound. Even in her death she is covering the atrocities of the Israeli occupation. It seems that her death is also a major movement toward a clear unravelling of the pure vileness underpinning Israel. There is no justification for attacking a group of mourners as they carry the coffin of a person innocently massacred.

what’s going on in ukraine rn is so disgusting but like can we also admit that the world only cares about these issues/intervenes when they happen in predominantly white countries
yeah because at this point actually ukranian refuees are pushing black off of trains and leaving them behind. the russian government told them to 'shelter in place'. and the borders aren't accepting them
similarly, we can see the contradiction to how palestinians are treated too. when their homes were bombed and when they needed refuge the world turned their backs on them. america was one of the biggest ones and also funded IDF.

Let’s talk about cultural appropriation.
For some people, cultural appropriation is just this generations constant attempt at being offended by anything and everything. However, it’s far more complicated than that.
Cultural appropriation reflects the dominant societies attempts at using minority groups symbols and identifying objects in a manner that not only advances them in some form, but is inherently disrespectful.
Above, Fendi has commodified the Arab Keffiyeh “coincidentally” at a time when its use has never been so meaningful. So too has Louis Vuitton joined the bandwagon of blatant capitalist exploitation charging $705 for a monogrammed “keffieh”. The fashion industry reflects what is a prime example of how meaning is ultimately lost just for some profitable agenda by people who have no regard for the deeper implications.
Don’t purchase designer keffiyehs. These scarfs are from Arabs and by Arabs; capitalising on a symbol of their struggle is simple adding to the discourse in a negative manner.
