“Thanks.”
Edna Mode remembers how Helen takes her tea. She doesn’t remember her first name, but she remembers how she takes her tea after 15 years.

Why can’t we just bring dogs everywhere. I mean you can bring your screaming kid in here, but I can’t bring my buddy? I’m promise he’s better behaved than your spawn.

I really want to know what happened to Jesse in S5E6. I always thought it was weird they set that story up and then never revisited it. Maybe he should come back so Jack can be like I’m half angel half human and Jesse’s like cool I’m half demon.

So based on this conversation with my dad I now want Dean and Same to carry around tampons with them. I mean enough people get shot in this show, Sam’s already taken one to the arm by this point, and John was military so he’s probably know this and teach it to them growing up. So I’m addition to salt hula hoops and iron rings, I want a box of tampons in the trunk and the boys have 1 or 2 on their person.
Oh and I linked him this:

Incredible Social Circle
I was thinking about how in the opening interview scene of the Incredibles, it is heavily implied that the Supers have a social circle they interact in. Especially, this part.
Tumblr media
So this implies that Supers have like normal, casual interactions with each other like dating and such. But here’s the thing, the movie not only doesn’t discredit this implication, it actually reinforces it.
Tumblr media
So here at the Par’s wedding, you see Edna Mode, the secret agent guy, Gazorbeam, Thunderhead, and many other Supers. And let’s note that they are in costume. So it’s not like oh they’re all Supers so they became friends as their alter egos. No these guys are here as their Super-self.
This also reinforced by the conversation Mr. I and Frozone have while listening to the police scanner. Bob asks Lucius if he saw the article in the newspaper about Gazorbeam. (Sidenote: it always bothered me how the article outed Gazorbeam for being a Super by sharing is alter-ego).  He then asks Lucius if he’d talked to him and knew how he was doing. Lucius then says, “I don’t talk to anyone from the old days, Bob, except you.”  These goes with the whole idea of the Super days being their glory days, but also implies that the Supers were friends as Supers instead of just people doing similar jobs. And this familiarity theme continues throughout the movie with scenes like Bob and Helen visiting Edna as old friends and such.
So my conclusion is that it wouldn’t be uncommon to see a couple Supers out on a date or something. This might even be why the old lady and the cops in the first action sequence seem so confortable talking to Mr. Incredible.
Tumblr media
It always kinda cracked me up how this lady treated Mr. I as her neighbor that she watched grow up and now has him doing chores for her that she can’t do at her age.
Now Elastigirl does make a comment about how she does not go to the grocery in her uniform. Maybe that’s because it is common to see Supers out and about in costume when they aren’t necessarily in action. If you’re watching the interviews, and throughout the movie, it really does seem like in this case the secret identities are not their true self. Like when they’re being “normal”, that’s actually the costume. Perhaps that’s why it was so frustrating to be put into hiding. Because they were stuck pretending to be their fake self all the time.
Anyway, this was all brought on because I was thinking about this scene.
Tumblr media
I don’t even need the caption. But I was thinking, she’s probably one of those Superladies he dated back in the day, and I was curious about what her powers are.

I’m not that good when it comes to linework and comic style but for the beginning it’s quite alright, I think. (: Hope you guys like it and thank you a lot for your support in the form of likes and reblogs.

Mulan (1998) True MVP
So it’s a common trope that the unnamed characters in the beginning of a movie/tv show are often stupid and mess things up, frequently to set up the plot. These are often illogical and frustrating to viewers with a brain. This guy from Mulan sets up this same trope
Tumblr media
and then BAM!! He throws the torch in the fire right in Shan-Yu’s face when he knows very well there’s a good chance this renown invader will probably kill him for it. No-Fear Soldier on the Great Wall redeems all of the “1st 5 minutes characters” just this once and is probably the greatest turning point of the fight against the invasion followed closely by Mulan’s avalanche manslaughter. True MVP right there.
