my GOD. what a hectic fuckin week. i feel like i haven’t had time to even breathe, let alone use instagram. that said, hi, how are you? it’s so weird to be back in school after being in college (i know, it’s not technically school, but it’s in the same place with most of the same teachers, so it feels like it). i’m so excited for this year, truly. i feel like it’s going to be a year of pure personal growth and i can’t wait. . primeira semana de cursinho finalizada e a sensação é de frio na barriga. MEODEOLS, que semana cansativa! eu sinto que não tenho tempo nem pra respirar, quanto mais postar aqui. é tão estranho voltar à escola depois da faculdade (sim, eu sei que cursinho não é escola, mas é onde eu fiz terceiro e com a maioria dos mesmos professores, então parece muito). minha animação permanece intacta e eu estou muito ansiosa pra realmente pegar a matéria pesada e ver como estou em relação a coisas que vi três (!!) anos atrás. só ainda não aprendi a não morrer de saudade quando me perguntam como é a ufscar, hahaha. 27 Sept ‘18 // Working in my college library this morn on some reading for my thesis. Cambridge is still yawning from the summer, weirdly quiet and gradually shading into myriad oranges. Michaelmas term officially resumes in a week, and the undergraduates start arriving in full force this weekend.

continuing the star wars themed month, here’s the cover!! i have to say, i’ve been journaling for three years now and done my fair share of spreads i have loved, but i truly think this might be my favorite ever! came together so easily. not like i could not love anything that even slightly has to do with star wars lmao. also wouldn’t be me if there wasn’t a mistake- yes, i am aware it says 2018 instead of 2019 🙄 i noticed while taking pics and fixed it later. oh well, here’s to not being perfect!

hi all!! this is my new lil studyblog. i used to have one a few months ago but as i fell out of love with college it went unused, and now that i have a new goal in mind i've made this blog to keep me inspired and hopefully inspire others too! the name's lori, i'm 19, a big star wars fan and a former chemistry student at college. i loved being a chem student but i was never able to shake the feeling i should be at med school from my mind. so in a leap of faith i took a year off college to fully dedicate my time to my studies for med school. dropping my studies at a very well known and respected university was hard, and the tests i have to take will be harder still, but i think not following my dreams would be even harder. i've tagged some blogs i admire!!! i hope to be very active in this wonderful community<3
