2.8.21 The spring semester has officially started! As a first year animal science student I’m taking Cell Biology, Reproductive Biology, and General Chemistry II. For my English elective, I’m diving into African American artists and how they define “home”. And the class I’m most looking forward to is Practical Large Animal Handling, where I get to spend some time in the barn on campus!

oh gosh you guys, I had a scary experience today! During my midterm test worth 30% of my mark, my browser crashed and I was unable to get back into the test. I saw my life flash before my eyes X(

(I emailed my prof and he was able to let me back in but it was still a burst of anxiety I didn’t need today)

jan. 30, 2021. i lowkey bit off more than i can chew and now i’m responsible for structuring an entire research project by myself, with a very tight deadline, because my professor won’t have the time to do so. the project will be on the same subject as my undergrad thesis and will help me on grad apps - that’s why he asked me in the first place - and now i’m trying my best to be focused and do it on time . on top of that, i still have other projects and my actual classes to take care of. i’m very grateful for my new planner, which is a bit of a weekly planner turned bullet journal, so i can keep track of everything. i’m a bit sad that creative writing might be neglected for a bit, but that’s the price you pay, i guess!
