Perusing serebii to see where I can find a raid den with a nice-IV gengar in it, and apparently, in the Old Cemetery (Crown Tundra), we have this thing-

Now just about every den in Crown Tundra has a chance for Audino, that's fine, and I am electing to ignore the santa-bird apparently visiting old/ancient graves, but Alcremie? In a den full of teacups and teapots?

aww, it's a little tea-party den I feel like this is adjacent to "Opal and Allister Friendship Confirmed", considering Shield has a higher chance of getting an Alcremie than Sword. HMMMM.

Bruh if you haven’t already, you should check out a fic called instant family in AO3, I was so starved for Bea/Allister content and stumbled across the fic on reddit. Definitely wasn’t expecting it to be that good. The first few chapters are pretty slow, but it definitely picks up

Relevent to both so I'll ask here. Where did the ideas for tgogt and your new homestuck idea come from?

Oh gosh, the Pilotlight has been bouncing around in the back of my head since 2014, easy, but I haven’t really figured out how to write miscellaneous headcanons about what kind of story arc Mituna might have had (offscreen, because it is very like me to pick a canonical joke character and go ‘okay but this one is my favorite now what do you mean he shows up on three pages’) and where to go from there. It’s been a very interesting exercise, to say the least; there’s a lot of arbitrary knowledge in the whole AU, including some research dives into bioelectricity and Greek mythology that fascinated me in highschool. I’m thinking for the Pilotlight in particular I will have more than the one central fic eventually to fit all of that in to the universe, but the fic itself reads more like a eulogy. It is narrated from the perspective of everyone else in the Alpha troll’s session, to show how they each think of Mituna (or, in some cases, if they do at all) before we get his perspective on it. It, like TGoGT, is kind of death-focused by nature; that’s just how teenage psychics are, sometimes.

The inspiration for TGoGT was mostly that I took one look at Allister, turned to my roommate, and

I drew this comic, and that was originally going to be the end of it while I wrote the Pilotlight, but I showed it to my roommate and we were having too much fun talking about it and playing swsh so it just. Continued to happen. Now I have eleven drafts or so, and I guess that’s just the way things go

Yeah! I’ve only had a chance to read Good Omens properly, but there are definitely Coraline vibes with the button eyes and both have inspired me in bits and pieces.

Also if you guys haven’t already Bea-ind A Sister is a good read, and send some love to @quite-a-sketchione for, ideally, when they come back.

Oh heck yeah! This time next week classes will be over TT_TT might be able to get my head back on right, oof.

See queue then is just my queue tag! I have a setting on in new-xkit that automatically tags all the posts I put in the automatic posting queue with the same tag. A lot of people have some kind of clever puns using the word 'queue' as theirs, but I wasn't feeling too creative I guess. It's been 99% queue on my personal blog lately, since I've been a bit scrambled and am cleaning out my likes (I have 1400+ of them at the moment and its driving me crazy; I use them as a bookmark so I can go through and tag everything and put it in the queue.) Sorry if it's a bit confusing!
