Something I can't stop thinking about is that scene where Lucien asks Feyre when she would stop being annoying or something, and she replies thinking he's going to kill her but instead she tells her, much better. And I think it suits Elain so much, and the reason is that in my opinion the inner circle overprotects Elain and she's going to want to show her voice too. I believe Lucien could help with that because he wants her to talk, tell her what she feels and what bothers her freely.

It's literally the same scene. Lucien gets called a prick and Elain is told to fuck off. They both love it/are genuinely impressed. So yeah nonnie it's absolutely gonna happen and yes it definitely suits her. Elain and Lucien are one in the same. Just like Feysand, just like Nessian. I remember reading that and clapping being all that's Lucien's mate for sure!

Lucien will coax a side out of Elain that no one, not even her sisters knew existed. And yes, he's going to let her have her own voice and choices. He's not got going to be overprotective. Granted he will be somewhat protective because that's his mate but nowhere close to that of the IC or Tamlin. (And no worry nonnie. We all think the IC treats her like some uwu precious baby).

Lucien is going to be the best mate and not just because he's the best male in Prythian. But because he's seen bad example after bad example. And he pays attention. He knows not to be Tamlin or Beron. He knows to not treat her the way the IC have. Elain wants to help, she wants a voice and he is going to give it to her (among other things 😏).

Put it this way: Currently Elain is a wilting flower and Lucien is the sun, the nourishment she needs to grow and flourish.

You can’t tell me that Lucien wouldn’t be that parent that shows up for holidays with like all of his children physically attached to him. He’s got one kid hanging off of his back, a baby slung across his chest in a wrap, the toddler hanging on his leg for dear life, gifts in one hand and then another child holding his other hand. And they are all wearing the most absolutely, crazy, happy smiles because it’s Christmas and they’re together with their family. He would just be so cute and so attentive and affectionate with his children because I don’t think he ever really got that kind of love and care from his own parents.
