Just before Christmas I made a real 3D copy of one of the fake Gameboy carts I’ve been making in my spare time, Frasier Fantasy, it’s was so fun and fulfilling to work on, so much so, that I will be making different games when I have time.

I was comissioned by Belfast City Council to create a series of three short animated gifs to be projected around the city when the Christmas lights were turned on, the idea was that I would make something funny for people walking and shopping in the city centre and lampoon the whole disaster that Covid-19 has wrought on so many of us while also keeping the christmas spirit alive!

Hey, I made a new T-shirt!  ‘A Little Rain’ was made to help support the arts organisations and artists in Belfast during this weird Covid period.
It was made for the Vault Artists Studio in collaboration with illustratration agency Usfolk and I was very chuffed to be asked to contribute.
They’re pretty limited with only 25 in total to be sold so if you’d like one, go quick to their shop here.

I was commissioned by the Louisville based chocolatiers Whelpdale Chocolates to come up with a complete redesign of their packaging for their mainline range of vegan bars, what you'll see below are completely hand drawn packaging telling the story of the guy behind the chocolate - Gary Whelpdale - and how he came to find himself as the head of his own chocolate company.
It was a real pleasure to work on these images, I took great pains to get every aspect to my satisfaction, I hadn't done much product design before and wanted to have my own spin on it, I wanted people to see these and feel like each bar was worth having, as if it was it's own distinct experience, to tell the story of the taste through the imagery and colours.
I hope you enjoy looking over this series, it's very close to my heart and when they launch later this summer be sure to check out Whelpdale Chocolates to order a few bars!

The past 6 months has been a difficult period for most of us, personally, during lockdown I didn't really have a lot of work on, different things with work fell through and the pace of that side of my life slowed to a standstill.  I was glad in a way, it gave myself and my wife the time to look after our small children while the government thankfully provided financial assistance for self employed people so that I didn't have to worry about work as much as I would have normally. When I had spare time in the evenings I missed drawing for the sheer pleasure of it and decided to make this gigantic image before you - as I sketeched it grew larger and larger and has now ended up in it's final form as a huge A1 poster for kids and adults to colour in and keep afterwards.  It was a fun challenge for me to make this crazy scene with tons going on and think about how a cross-section of a house might look. I hope you enjoy checking out the images below and if you like a poster for yourself you can get one from my online shop here.
