His stoic expression never faltered as he watches you chase anya around, your giggles and hurried footsteps could be heard against the soft grass. Not even as he watches you return with Anya on your back as the younger girl smiles up at him. That’s what someone with an untrained eye would assume at least. While his expression may not change all that much, there is a distinct softness in his gaze as he watches you wipe off the icecream staining the younger girls cheek and when you nudge him to warn that his own icecream is starting to melt, a soft gaze only you could pick up. There’s a slight smile playing on his lips as he watches both you and Anya fall asleep against his side snoring softly. Loid forger who says he wouldn’t let his emotions get in the way of his missions, but you both know that you and your adopted child are the only exceptions to such a rule. Loid forger who shakes his head before gently scooping the two of you into his arms, attempting to not stir either of you awake as he carries you both out of the park. However, it doesn’t take a trained eye to notice the adoring smile playing on his lips as he does so.
