What the f…. They really do need some sort of a consultant for this show.

Complete and total pet peeve, I know this is Riverdale but I’m already mad at them so I’m gonna nitpick this:

1. Nobody was fucking hunting witches in North America in 1890. Try 1690, please.

2. Nobody was ever burning accused witches at the stake ever in North America—that was only ever something done in Europe in the 16th through 18th centuries. A number of people, mostly women, were hanged in Connecticut and Massachusetts Bay Colonies in the 17th century. Hanged. It’s very different.

This is very small potatoes and we all know Riverdale exists outside of time and space, but again: I don’t like them right now, I reserve the right to shitpost about them.

Well… so many thoughts, so I’m gonna rant

A little reminder that all I’m gonna say is just my opinion and you can agree or disagree with me and think whatever the hell you like.

I watched the show because of Bughead and the ship is still the most beautiful and precious to my heart.

Varchie: I just don’t understand, they made Veronica fight for divorce and her future with Archie only to realise there is no future for them. Honestly, I’ve never understood their ship, because Veronica is very ambitious and purposeful and amazing and Archie doesn’t compliment her, he just looks dull by her side.

Veggie: well, I don’t know why you guys are so against it. Yes, maybe they need a bit more build up, but I think they make sense together, at least for me.

Jabitha : I could see the logic here at some point, but it was really rushed with how Jug went from “I’m not ready for a relationship because I’m not really over Betty and only she can lift me up from the rock bottom” to “I like you, Tabitha, be with me”. And I don’t see the chemistry, sorry, I really think they could be wonderfully written as friends.

Tangs: um…. I believe they love each other, but not in a romantic way. Totally rushed and unfounded.

Barchie: I can’t say that I’m a total hater, I like to keep my mind open and be some sort of a moderator, but the way the authors push this ship really makes me uncomfortable. (Oh, and I’m also a total Bughead fan) Lack of real chemistry and foundation for a relationship, as well as any interaction aside from hookups in the beginning of the season doesn’t do any good for the ship either. At this point it really looks like some of authors just pushing their favourite ship.

All in all i really can’t understand authors ignoring the fandom yelling at them that the only thing they watched the show for was Bughead, feeding the audience with little scrapes and hints and then wasting it all to shit… what the hell?

I had a thought that maybe they are creating all these shit plots and ships just so there would be something to film about in the next season?

And what about Kevin and Cheryl, how has it come that we are robbed of our amazing gays’ happiness?

And I don’t even want to start about storylines and plot holes.

So yeah, that’s about sums it up. Took it off my chest.
