Wish they existed in actual high definition anywhere but I finally went through every episode of “The Pirates of Dark Water” to collect creature designs and am happy to say I remembered all of them perfectly from my childhood, EXCEPT ONE!!

In the next to last episode the main villain consults with this amazing, talking jellyfish creature that spouts cryptic prophecies. He calls is the Soothsayer like he’s been getting advice from this thing the entire series, but it was never shown or mentioned until just this scene?! But final episode is a cliffhanger with the hero’s quest only half finished. so the story never continued and there was never any more of whatever the soothsayer is supposed to be :( I know this show was based on a novel or series of novels but I have no idea how many liberties it took. Oh I was mistaken, it was totally original, so there’s nowhere else to get more storyline at all.

Those cambrian looking space robots from the amphibia finale were so gorgeous, it’s a shame they went by so fast. I bet this is an interesting post about amphibia if you only knew the basic premise or first couple episodes.
