Y’all I’m making another giant puppet.

This one is going to be a hippogriff used for Harry Potter themed events by an event company called Steam Pop Creations.

Head blank is a dream vision creations piece. Unlike my earlier puppet, Sarabi the gryphon, this will be operated by two puppeteers. This will allow longer use, an easier time for the puppeteers, a sturdier puppet, and I can make it larger.

Horse—a symbol of strength, speed, virility, community, and freedom.

The Horse is the first animal in my Guardian series. The Guardian animals are made to protect using their unique associations, symbolism, and alignments.

Utilizing a composite view found in the animal tattoos of the ‘Ukok Princess’ the Guardian animals are twisted into unique stances to symbolize the existence of their Spirit in multiple realms, protecting you from every direction at one time.

The antlers mask that the Guardians wear is further allusion to the Ukok Princess tattoos.

The essence of Horse is emphasized by the braided horsehair loop that the Guardian hangs from.

The animals are cast in resin and hand painted. Each Guardian is made to order, and is completely unique. You will not receive the exact Guardian in the pictures.

These are wonderful altar decorations, Christmas/Yule ornaments, and tack decorations. They loop easily over most saddle horns.

Horse Guardian Altar Decorations now available at my Etsy shop!

Some Yule ornaments I’ve been working on! These early versions are going to be gifts but I’ll have some up in my Etsy shop soon!

These ornaments are insipired by tattoos found on a Neolithic mummy. They’re meant to represent the spirit of Horse paired with a reindeer skull mask, alluding to the horned god.

The braided loop is made of real horsehair, ornaments are resin cast with felt harness and brass and pewter bells.

First cast of the holiday ornaments!

It turned out much better than I expected. The only flaws I want to address are the tips of the antlers, which have some sculpy stuck in the mold, and bubbles on the hooves and nose.

I’ve got a second one curing right now and if it comes out with those issues fixed I’ll start making them for patrons and to sell. I’m very excited for this project!
