What is wrong with people

So I just started listening to TOG on YouTube and I scrolled through the comments and someone said and I quote “if I’m reading about an assassin I’m expecting her to kill people for money. Not bitch about clothes, eat candy, and get angry about killing people”. I find this very infuriating that people think you have to have one or the other. They are expecting that if a character is female that she has to be a cold hearted ruthless killer. And that God forbid she have compassion and care about what she looks like. Another point is with Feyre from acotar . It’s utterly incomprehensible to some people that yes, the minute she not faced with impending doom that she care about anything else other than fighting or training. Like shopping for friends or starting a family. Because (sarcasm) how could a female p o s s I b l y have a family and be a strong feminist character. I think some people miss the point that being a female or having feminine qualities does NOT mean you’re “weak” or to “soft”. Okay I’m done ranting.
