the only thing funnier than chris fleming’s comedy itself is people on social media politely referring to him with gender neutral language because they’re not sure what to make of his whole thing
among (my cat) freddie mercury’s many Clever Little Things is that if you’re holding him and he wants to put down, then every time, without fail, he will lick you on the hand or arm a couple of times. if after a few seconds you haven’t put him down, then he’ll start to squirm or whatever.
it’s very cute and really handy when none of our other cats have any such compunctions about asking to be put down by whacking you in the face without preamble, sometimes with claws out, but the thing is: I never taught him to do this. I realized that he was doing it after he did it several times of his own accord; a couple of little licks on the hand, and then he’d start squirming out of my hold unless I put him down.
I was thinking about this recently, wondering what made him start doing that, and I had a sudden realization. whenever I’m holding him and I decide to put him down. I always kiss him on the top of his head first. I always have.
pres. trump sent federal troops into portland to squash the protests and they shot someone in the head with an impact round last night and shattered his skull. his blood is still on the sidewalk outside the federal courthouse. they are not like local cops and they are NOT fucking around. they carry ARs with live ammo and they are merciless. i am very sincerely scared that federal forces are going to instigate a kent state type situation by killing protesters as an example sometime between now & november and i am very scared it’s going to be here
i'm literally begging you to help us defend our freedom of speech. we have eight days.

i didn't make the carrd, but it's one of the most useful links right now. #JunkTerrorBillNow needs the most urgency, but there are other issues present too.
I saw this chart and I thought it might help people navigate what activities they felt safe to do or not go. (I actually followed up with a guide of why things on this list are listed where they are.)
any mention of black lives matter has disappeared off my dashboard so i thought y'all might want to know that police stormed a peaceful vigil in memory of elijah mcclain, attacking mourners with pepper spray. families were there. children were affected. this movement isnt over just because it’s no longer trendy.
